Chapter 39: My Biggest Lie. Part Ten Final

"I hate *cough* to ask this of you, but I'm the Jinchuriki of the Sanbi. And I don't want him to cause a ruckus."
"You want her to contain him. To become the new Jinchuriki."
"Let's get started while I still have a little strength."

-and now-

Takara cut her hands and brought her hands up to the two of us. She hesitated, but I assured her and nodded. I wanted this. I'll be alright. She started to write in symbols I didn't understand on my stomach and Yagura's. Then she took out a strange chain. I could tell it was a chakra weapon. She pulled Yagura and I's belly.

"Secret Uzumaki Art: Chakra Sealing transfer." Takara whispered hoarsely. The chains suddenly went through our skin and connected directly to our chakra systems. I groaned in pain, but I knew that is was nothing yet.

The seal on Yagura appeared and the symbols from the Seal as well as Takara's started to spread across Yagura. The marks started to engulf him and I could tell it was painful. Then the marks started to move across the chain slowly.

"Uh..." I was suddenly getting anxious. As soon as the marks reached me my body started to burn. By the second the pain was getting worse and worse, and I was blinded by the agony. I peaked my eyes open and looked at Yagura.

"Y-Yagura" I wheezed. He reached out and intertwined his hand with mine. As more pain came my way, less for him, but he was closer to death. Eventually, the pain subsided and I was left next to my dead brother and dying sister.

"Hima..." Takara gasped. She brought something from her bag, a scroll of some sort. She put it in my hands and wrapped my fingers around it. "I want you to have this."

"What is it?" I asked keeping my eyes on her.

"This is a scroll precious to me." She closes her eyes briefly in thought. "This is a summoning scroll for Owl Gryphons, and one day, I believe you can master it."

"I'm honored to be given this." I was touched. This was obviously very important to her, and to be given it. Despite the pain I was in a crawled to my knees and bowed. "I swear I won't let you down, Takara."

"I know..." she said as the last of her life faded from her eyes.

My eyes were burning and I suddenly realized I was crying. I would never see this Takara again. I would never see Yagura again. I scooped Takara in my arms and sobbed loudly. It didn't matter how ugly I looked at this moment. All that mattered to me were my now dead friends.

"Himawari....?" Something sounded behind me. I slowly turned my head to see Chikako. She has a disbelieving look on her face. Her eyes latched onto Takara and her face filled with sadness. "What... what happened?"

"Chikako..." I whispered struggling to stand up.

"You..." Her face morphed into anger. "What did you do!?"

"What? I-" If I told her the real story she might go after Itachi and live for revenge. There is no way that Chikako could ever take on Itachi. She'd die quickly. So what do I do? A lie then?  "Takara died sealing the Sanbi into me."

"She what?!" She looked at me as if I was scum of the Earth. "You allowed her to die... Just to deal up some stupid beast. It's your fault isn't it?!"

"If she hadn't of done that, then the Sanbi would have reformed and hurt people!" I screamed back at her. "I loved Takara, but nothing that happens now can change anything!?"

"If you loved a Takara you wouldn't have let her die! So what if the beast reformed! I'm sure there are strong people who could have handled it! It was never Takara's plan to get involved with something like a Tailed Beast!" Chikako ranted at me without stopping to breath. "So... that's why... I'm sure Takara never would have agreed to waste her life like that!!!"

"Then despite the amount of time you spent with her, you barely know her!" Even though we were both sad, neither of us could get along.

"How dare you?!" She gasped in rage. "I won't ever forgive you, Himawari!!!"

As quick as she could, Chikako launched at me. Me, still recovering the events that had transpired couldn't defend myself. I could barely stand much less fight a Chikako. I hadn't even won against her normally, there's no way I could do it now.

Chikako had me pinned against the ground with her legs around me and her hand gripping the collar of shirt tightly. She had her left hand reeled back to hit hit me.

"I thought we were friends, Himawari. I thought that the three of us... would together forever." Tears fell down her face before she hardened up again and she started going in for a punch. "But I guess that won't happen!"

I'm not sure what happened, but in a flash a pink rockish shield threw Chikako back and surrounded the area in pink spikes. What was this material?

"Chikako!!!" I screamed seeing her hurt. I looked at her from afar only seeing scrapes. "Phew," I sighed in relief.

"So you've become a beast haven't you..." Chikako looked up at me with hatred and pity?

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked confused. I don't understand.

"One day, I'll free you from that beast and if you have to die to separate then so be it," Chikako narrowed her eyes turning around, "with that power as I am now I couldn't take you on."

I watched her walk to Takara's body and grab it with her small arms, and then she left. I fell to my knees in sorrow. In my time I had left to be free of my family curse, lost all my blood family, gained a new family, lost them for good, and gained a new sort of curse. I really can't escape the fate of curses can I?

The next part is back to the battle!!! Woooo
