Finally, the day I have been waiting for. The final round of the Chunin Exams. As well, as the day I have been anticipating. Today is the day I will fight Chikako. My old friend. She was somebody I used to trust wholeheartedly, but now... Now she wanted me dead. I felt my eyes begin to water, yet I did nothing and let them fall. I wanted my old friend back.

"Because there is only one reason I joined the Chunin exams..." She smirked before turning towards me. "And that is to fight Himawari Hyuuga! I refuse to fight anybody but her."

"This is going to be hard!" I complained. In the past Chikako used the art of puppetry, making her a long range fighter. However, her speed was way faster than mine. Which is why I had needed to train my speed. Kinda regretting whom I trained with. Gai-sensei. Note to self: don't ask Tenten to train with her team.

I donned my old outfit. Not the boring standard Hyuga one. That was so bland. No the white one. The one with the long sleeved net shirt, and the white tank top at ended before my belly button. With the white skirt that was split on the left side that had net shorts underneath.

Next, I slipped my Aqua green strap on that held my sword to me. Then, I wrapped my precious white scarf around me. If I smelled deeply enough the lingering scent of Haku was still there. I wiped my eyes feeling the tears that almost fell. I won't cry, not today. I opened my door to see Hinata in the motion to knock.

"Good morning Sis. What's up?" I asked smiling.

"I was just making sure you didn't sleep in..." She stared at me eyeing my outfit. "Haruka won't like that."

"Well Haruka can shove it." I retorted. Something was behind me. I could feel it's evil presence and rage.

"What was that?!" Haruka shouted with dark thunder clues around her.

"I'm going to wear whatever I want." I told her firmly. "I've been on my own about this a long time. I don't need it be dressed by an adult. I refuse to conform to the Hyuuga clothes style, it's a bore."

However, before Haruka could yell back something nudged my leg and came out. Hinata and Haruka both gushed at the sight of her. I quickly picked her up.

"This is Hoshi." I held her like a cat as Hinata and Haruka stroked her fluffy body. "That reminds me. Hinata can you bring her to the final round. I need to go pick up some last minute weapons, but I want her to get used to seeing fighting,"

"Yeah, I'd love too." Hinata reapplied gently picking her up.

We all stood in the middle of the arena. Well, everyone but Dosu and Sasuke. They weren't here yet. An an added information Naruto was late. I mean he's here now, but still I don't want hi. Catching Kakashi's disease.

"Good luck, Hima." Shika yawned rubbing his head. "With your skills you'll probably win the Chunin Exam, and if you end up having to fight Gaara you've got water style. Unlike me, I'll probably lose the first round."

"Yeah, that's true. I'm not so sure I'd win though, the whole exam I mean. There are a lot of strong opponents." I replied nervously. I could barely hear him for all the people in the audience screaming. "And I'm sure if you really tried you could win."

"Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for coming to the Hidden Village of Konoha's Chunin selection exam today. We will now begin the main matches with the ten that have passed the preliminaries."  Gramps yelled to the crowd. "Please enjoy the matches.

"There are some things I need to tell you before the matches." Our proctor said to us. "Look at this." He pulled out a chart. It showed the match line ups for the Final rounds. Dosu wasn't on there. Did he retire?

First round- is Naruto and Neji
Second round- Is Chikako and I
The rest I didn't look at. Meh.

We were then told to go to a waiting room as Naruto and Neji got ready to fight. I can't tell who would win. Neji is strong, but Naruto has will. However, Naruto isn't the brightest, but some how I believed in him more than Neji.

"Who do you think will win Hima?" Shika asked me.

"Oh... Um... I support both greatly, but..." I trailed off before using a confident voice. "Naruto."

"Really? Even though he is up against a Hyuuga?" I glared at him. "Well, Neji I mean."

"Yeah." I nodded gripping the bar tightly.

I looked down to see Naruto raise his fist and point it at Neji. I don't know what importance this held, but it must have happened during Neji and Hinata's match. I heard how brutal Neji was, but Hinata didn't give up. It filled me with pride. Neji activated his Byakugan, as a big wind blew around the area.

"Begin!"

They stood there for longest time. Neither of them were making any moves, but they were in their fighting positions. It was a stare down. Slowly Neji moved his foot. Almost two seconds late Naruto threw two kunai and charged at the front.

"Naruto!" I yelled at his idiocy. "Neji is probably the most skilled Hyuuga I know. Charging him like that isn't a good idea!"

Naruto payed no attention to Kiba and my screams, Nor did he listen to Sakura. He kept up his frontal assault being blocked and stopped over and over again. Until Neji lanes a Hyuuga fist on him. He landed a hit using the Tenketsu points only the Byakugan could see.

Naruto backed off and started using Shadow clones. It was a smart idea, Neji wouldn't be able to tell which was which as the technique splits chakra evenly throughout all of the clones.

Naruto launched his clones at him. This battle was getting interesting. Naruto almost kicked him, but he'd have to try harder than that if he wanted to hit my cousin. Neji destroyed all of his clones...they were talking. However, I couldn't make it out because They were so far away.

Naruto made a lot more clones to attack. He looked a lot more confident. This time he purposefully left one close to not attack tricking my cousin. Naruto and another clone go in to attack, however... Neji used rotation!

"He can use it too!" I jumped up.

"You can use that technique?" Shika inquired staring at me.

"Yeah." I responded turning away from the match. "In fact, a very long time ago Neji gave me a piece of paper that explained the technique. I want to show it to him sometime. I mean I can do it, but it's nowhere near as good as his."

I turned back to the match to see Neji about to use Divination Field, 64 strikes

"Naruto! Get out of there!" I screamed at him. There was no way. If all of his chakra point were closed then he has less of a chance of winning. Naruto hasn't yet mastered the ability to use Kurama's charka.

It was too late. Neji had started. He had had all 64 points closed. Come on Naruto. You can get up! I clenched my fists. Neji had changed. That I could see.

"Naruto..." I whispered happy. He was getting up!

They started to talk again, but this time I could hear. It was the Hyuuga's dark secret, The curse mark.

Neji told a ceremony, that also happened to be the day when the Country Of Lightning signed a peace treaty. This was also Hinata and I's birthday, and because of this our clan didn't participate in the festivals and parties. He talked about how My father and Neji's were twins, and unlike Hinata and I they were identical. Our father was born first, so his father was forced to get the curse of our clan.

On that day, Neji was engraved with that curse, and became a "caged bird." The curse mark makes sure that the branch family follows the head family's orders. It inflicts pain upon them if they disobey. Not any that, but it seals up the Byakugan after death. It only disappears after death,

One night, my sister was kidnapped. I wasn't there. I was with Haruka at the time, so nothing befell me. My father caught the kidnapper and killed him. The kidnapper was the Country of Lightning's head ninja, who had just signed the alliance treaty. They had came to take the secrets of the Byakugan. They began to claim that Konoha broke the treaty, and demanded unreasonable terms.

To prevent war Konoha made a secret agreement to avoid war. The Lightning wanted a Hyuuga head family member's life. They wanted my father's life. Konoha agreed to these terms. Instead of handing over my father they gave them his twin to protect the bloodline.

Naruto closed his eyes... What's this!? I could sense it, evil power just a flash, but still. Naruto out his hands together to gather up chakra. He's trying to use Kurama's chakra!!! He's doing it!

'He's using his chakra.' Isobu commented. 'I'm surprised he even let him use it.'

'Yeah it is a surprising feat. I didn't know Naruto could draw on his powers yet'

Orange chakra spilled out of Naruto. It kicked up the dirt and started a strong wind. The charka took for,s of wispy like tails thrashing about. It was impressive. Even Neji had to hold his ground against it. The battle suddenly got a lot more intense and fast paced. Naruto was extremely fast and Neji was having trouble keeping up with it.

They collided at a high speed at each other making a giant explosion. Nobody could see anything for the degree and smoke, but I knew who was going to win. Not because I used my Byakugan to see, I needed to save chakra anyhow, but because I knew who's will was stronger.

The smoke cleared and two hole were visible. Naruto in one and a Neji in the other. Slowly, Neji crawled out of one of the hole, but not Naruto... Neji struggled walking over to the other hole. Naruto was lay-ping inside. Suddenly, Naruto came up from the ground and punched Neji in the chin. The body in the hole was a clone.

"Winner, Uzumaki Naruto."

"Go Naruto!" I cheered loudly for him as he started to run around the stadium. Not only I was cheering, everybody was in some form. They were clapping, yelling, and most of all they had surprised yet joyful expression. I'm sure Naruto felt happy.

"Next match. Himawari Hyuuga and Chikako Fuinto please come down."

Because I've noticed most people don't like and just read. Much like other authors I'm going to start doing requirements
