I'm posting two chapters this Christmas Eve, so be thankful. Later on there will be a late christmas party chapter. Deal with it. 2.

"Now for the last one, Himawari Hyuuga." He said making a picture of me appear. Luckily it was a picture of me with the mask I would wear before Team 7 came along. "Not much is known. All I have is a name and a picture and age 13, except I do known she is participating in the Chunin exams."

"Oh." Hinata smiled probably happy to know I'm alive.

"Really! Hinata that's great you'll get to see your sister soon. I remember you and her were always cute twins." Kiba laughed nudging Hinata who was pushing her fingers together.

I wish I could tell her now, but I need privacy, I also kind of want to surprise my whole family in the exams. I'll be like surprise, surprise and beat the crap out of my opponent.

As Kabuto showed the rest of them some percentages of ninjas on his what not cards I just decided not to pay attention. Until Naruto started yelling, that is.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki and I'm going to beat every single one of you believe it!" Naruto yelled making the people who didn't hate us already hate us.

"Hey what's that idiot trying to do? Get us killed? Tell your boyfriend to keep his big fat trap shut!" Ino shouted at Sakura.

"What boyfriend!" Sakura returned angry at the thought of dating Naruto. I agree he is cute, but like a little idiot brother cute, or at least to me anyway.

All the other rookie leaf Genin kept yelling at Naruto for being loud and whatever. Their making enemies real fast. I know what teams are probably going down first... (￣ー￣). Suddenly a sound ninja attacked Kabuto. After the ninja through two kunai and Kabuto doged he tried to punch him with a metal arm? Kabuto dodged the punch, but his glasses shattered. I'm sure he dodged...

"So it was that kind of attack." I heard Kabuto say to himself. Judging that their sound ninja it was probably a sound attack, maybe.

"Hang on, I saw it all, he dodged the attacks, how did that happen?" Sasuke questioned angrily.

"It must have come closer then it looked. Look at him acting like a tough guy." Shikamaru grumbled.

"Like your one." I retorted receiving a look from Shikamaru. "Pineapple Shika-kun don't be like that." I whined grabbing his arm.

His eyes widened a bit before he turned his head away in, what I think, was embarrassment. That's adorable, but why did he widen his eyes? Am I really that stunning.

"What! Your hair looks like a pineapple." I questioned, but before he could respond somebody started yelling.

"ALRIGHT YOU BABY FACED DEGENERATES PIPE DOWN AND LISTEN UP!" A voice yelled in a puff of smoke. "It's time to begin. I'm Ibiki Morino your proctor, and from this moment on... Your worst enemy. First you candidates from The Village Hidden in the Sound, knock it off. Who told you you could fight. Do you want to be failed before we even begun."

"Sorry, it's our first time, I guess we're a little jumpy sir." The sound ninja responded.

"I'll say this once so listen up, there will be no fighting between candidates, no attacking each other without the permission of your proctor and even then the use of fatal force is strictly prohibited. Anyone who even thinks of messing with me will be disqualified immediately, got it?" Ibiki laid down the rules to us.

"No fatal force? That's no fun." The ninja said making someone laugh.

"We're ready, well proceed to the first stage of the Chunin Exams, handover your paperwork, in return you'll each be handed a number which will determine where you will sit. Well start the written test once you are all seated." The proctor commanded.

"NO! Not a written test!" Naruto cried. I understand his feelings I haven't been to school since I was eight, so I'm probably a little rusty. I'll probably already have to cheat, and maybe I'll be able to do it without cheating as long as it's about ninja things. It better not be about history I'd be horrible.

We all were handed our numbers, and unluckily I sat by cousin Neji. This could be troublesome, but life often is. I don't know why I'd expect anything else.

"Hello Neji. Remeber me?" I say pointing at my smile. From his reaction, he does. Oh what fun.

"Alright eyes in front, there are a few rules you need to be aware of and I won't answer any questions so you better pay attention the first time around. Rule #1: The written part of the exam is based on a point reduction system. You all begin the test with a perfect score of ten points, one point will be deducted for all the questions you get wrong, as for the ones you don't answer. So if you miss or fail three, three points will be deducted.

Rule #2: teams will pass or fail based on the score of all three of four members." Ibiki says making me worried.

"What, wait a second! Your saying we all get scored as a team!" Sakura yells outraged our eyes falling on Naruto. They are doomed. I have to take the exam because they need to find out what kind of fighter I am.

"SILENCE! I have my reasons. Rule #3: the sentinels around you are there to watch you carefully to make sure there is no cheating. And for every incident they spot, they will subtract two points. Be warned their eyes are extremely sharp, and if they catch you, you will be dismissed before the test is even scored. Anyone fool enough to be caught by the sentinels doesn't deserve to be here. If you want to be considered Shinobi, then show us Powhatan exceptional Shinobi you can be. One more thing... If any candidates should get a zero and fail the test the whole team fails, including the four membered team." Ibiki says looking at me at the end.

I immediately tense up so does Sakura and Sasuke. I look over and see Naruto slumped in his chair worried about failing. Why cruel world...

"Naruto..." I whispered worriedly. "Please don't fail."

"The final question won't be given out till the last fifteen minutes of the testing period, you'll have one hour total... BEGIN!" He yells.

I immediately pick up pencil reading over all the questions. This is... Impossible. At least for my level of intelligence. Not all of the questions are too hard, but I want to succeed with all the points. According to what Ibiki was saying no cheating, but he went over that, saying if they catch you. The answer is cheating, and I was going to do that before we even started.

Looking forward I see people start to realize that answer. The person two rows up seems to be flying through the answers. I have to use my Byakugan without Neji noticing. I activate it quickly writing down the answers on the guys test. It looks like Neji and Hinata are doing the same thing. I write the final question down with thirty minutes to spare. Time to take a nap.

"Number 38! You fail!" Somebody yells waking me up. My team look at me surprised not believing that I would fail them and not Naruto, but I didn't.

"That's impossible. You caught me just now?" I ask irritated about being woken up. I stand up staring him in the eyes.

"Yes I caught you cheat. Now your team go." He demands pointing towards the door.

"No. I fell asleep ten minuets ago." I yawned making him mad.

"She's not lying. She has been snoring for the past five minuets." Neji defends surprising me.

"I don't snore!" I scream pissed off,

"Do you listen to yourself when you sleep?" He returns.

"Do you-" I start about to stomp on his foot.

"You two shut up and sit down." Ibiki the proctor commands.

Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto looked relieved that they got to stay. Sasuke had this look on his face, his glare face, and he was using it on Neji. Funny, though I'm sure Sakura will yell at me for causing a scene.

"Alright listen up! Here's the tenth and final question!" Ibiki shouted getting all of our attention. "Before I give you the question there are some more rules you need to be aware of..." At that moment Gaara's brother comes in with the sentinel.

"Made it just in time. I'm sure you found your trip to the bathroom... Enlightening." Ibiki stated making me suspicious of him. Oh the sentinel. It's not really a sentinel its a puppet, clever. That's just what I'd expect from Gaara's brother. I giggled out loud a bit causing Neji to give me a weird look.

"Rule #1: each of you is free to choose not to receive the final question, it's your decision." Ibiki started getting interrupted by Gaara's sister.

"Whoah, what's the catch? Let's say we decide not to be given the final question, what happens then?" She asks.

"If you choose not to answer the final question regardless of your answers to the other nine you'll get a zero, in other words you fail... So do your teammates." Ibiki answers.

What's! A zero? Then what's the point of the test? This tenth question is backing us into a corner here. Wait why would he give us the decision of not taking the final question anyway?

"Not so fast. You didn't let me finish." He says interrupting the outraged chit chat. "If you do accept the question, but answer incorrectly you not only fail... YOU WILL BE BARRED FROM TAKING THE CHUNIN EXAM EVER AGAIN!!!"

"HEY! That's bull man, that ridiculous, there are lots of people who have taken the exam before." Kiba shouts enraged.

Ibiki started laughing creeping the heeby Jeebies out of me before he talks again. "I guess your just unlucky, I wasn't making the rules before, but I am now. Of course, if you don't want to take it you don't have to. If your not feeling confident, then by all means skip it. You can come back and try again next year."

No way! I can understand all of their anger. What kind of proctor wouldn't want more Chunin, but I guess the ones that do leave don't deserve to become the next level.

"Now then if your ready, the tenth and final question. If you want to skip it raise your hand." I biki informed us.

As people start raising their hands causing their teams to leave I wonder will Sakura quit. Instead I see Naruto's hand going up. What, he doesn't quit, why would he raise his hand now? Then he slams it hard onto the desk.

"DONT UNDERESTIMATE ME, I DONT QUIT AND I DONT RUN, YOU CAN ACT TOUGH ALL YOU WANT, BUT YOU GUYS ARENT GOING TO SCARE ME OFF, NO WAY! I DONT CARE IF I GET STUCK AS A GENIN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE ILL STILL BE HOKAGE ONE DAY!" Naruto shouts stunning people including me.

"Naruto..." I stay stunned.

"This decision could change your life, if for any reason you want to quit then this is your last chance." Ibiki states trying to persuade people to quit.

"No way! I never go back in my word, that's the way of the ninja." Naruto shouted moving people.

"Well then I admire your determination, if nothing else, for those of you remaining there is only one thing left to do and that's for me to tell you... You've all passed the first exam." Ibiki congratulated us.

"What?" I eye twitch. What kind of question is that?

"H-hold on, what do you mean we just passed? What about the tenth question?" Sakura questions confused.

Ibiki starts taking off his bandanna revealing scars all over his head. That's the way of ninja, torture.

"Can you choose to avoid danger? No, there will be many missions that will seem almost suicidal, if you think about it, but we do not think about it. We think only of the goal and achieving it through courage and discipline. Those are the qualities of a Chunin squad leader. Those who choose the safer of the two paths, those whose determination falters in the face of an adversary, those who put their comrades lives in jeopardy worrying about their own, those who save their own necks at the price of honor, I'll never be able to call themselves Chunin, at least as long as I'm here.

As for the rest of you. You've successfully answered the ten questions given to you, you have earned the right to continue to the next step, you have passed the first gate. I hearby declare this part of the Chunin exam completed. There nothing left, but to wish you the best of luck." Ibiki finally finishes his rant making Naruto cheer. And many others.

Suddenly faster than most can realizes a window crashes open. This being caused by a women.
