I'm posting two chapters this Christmas Eve, so be thankful. Later on there will be a late christmas party chapter. Deal with it. 1.

Kakashi-Sensei was in front of the door 301 obviously waiting for us. "Glad you made it Sakura. Now you will all able to qualify for the exam. Only groups of three, in this case four, are allowed to apply for and take the exam. That's the way it's always been."

"Except me. Even if Sakura hadn't come I would still have to take the exam." I said with a know it all tone making Sensei look at me before Sakura spoke.

"But Sensei, you said the decision was up to the individual." Sakura said.

"That's right, I did. I didn't tell you before because the others might have pressured you. At the same time, I didn't want you to feel obliged to participate because of any feelings you might have for Sasuke." He informed them. "I wanted you to come to the decision of your own free will."

"So you mean if I hadn't shown up with the others..." Sakura trailed off.

"It would have been the end of the line." Kakashi finished for her. "I wouldn't have been able to let them in, but that's not the point, your all here for the right reasons. Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Hima, I couldn't have asked for a better team I'm proud. Good luck." He finally finished moving out of the way of the door.

"You'll do fine Sakura, I know it." I encouraged.

"Guys wait." I stopped them from walking in. "Please keep my Hyuuga line a secret. It's going to be a surprise late, so don't worry about this." I say grabbing some goggles that hid my eyes from being seen. "I can see, but nobody can see my eyes, so nobody will get the idea I'm me."

"Okay, Hima-chan." Sakura agreed. "I'm sure Sasuke-kun agrees too and we'll make sure Naruto keeps his big mouth shut. Though those goggles don't flatter you."

"Thank you. Now let's go." I smiled marching in the room behind Naruto readjusting the orange colored goggles.

"W-what's this?" Naruto paled seeing how many people were in the room.

"Gee I guess we're not alone." Sakura paled next to Naruto.

"This is awesome guys! So many people to fight!" I enthusiastically put my hand in a fist ready to fight these losers.

"You were trained by Zabuza, so you have more experience with fighting." Sakura pouted with her head down. "Man I had no idea there'd be so much competition."

"Sasuke! Where have you been?" A girl voice yelled at us. Her name was... Well she is in the Yamanaka Clan... Oh it's Ino, now I remember. Anyway Ino jumped on Sasuke's back arms locked around his neck. "Boy you have no idea how much I was hoping you would show up here. I miss those brooding good looks of yours."

"Fangirls. They be crazy." I whispered to Sasuke making him smirk at me.

"HEY YOU PORKER BACK OFF HES MINE." Sakura yelled at Ino.

"Miss Forehead. They let you in? Still got those big frown lines on your big billboard brow, I see." Ino retorted making Sakura even more mad.

"Leave my forehead out of it!" Sakura demanded.

"Naaah!" Ino made a sound sticking her tongue out at her.

"Oh it's you guys, I knew this was going to be a drag, but I didn't know it was going to be this lame." A boy with pineapple hair complained.

"So all the three stooges are here?" Naruto joked walking over to Pineapple head.

"Well, well, what do you know. Looks like the whole gangs back together again." Kiba commented walking towards us with who I think is his team behind him.

"Hi Naruto." I heard my sister say quietly. She likes him. It's so obvious, so why can't Naruto see it. I guess he is a bit of a blockhead.

"Plus one." Naruto added to Kiba's statement. "Our new teammate here Hi-"

"Hisui. You know she doesn't like to be called Hime, Naruto. " Sakura interrupted as she and Sasuke smacked Naruto's mouth knowing he was about to say my real name. The other people gave us a weird look eyeing me, but couldn't see my eyes. "That's Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji." She said pointing to pineapple's team. "Kiba, Shino, and Hinata."

"Nice to meet you. I hope we can be friends." I bowed at my introduction.

"Nice to meet you to. Stay away from Sasuke, got it." Ino yelled at me.

"Don't worry porker. She's got a crush on a sand ninja." Sakura teased poking me with her elbow.

"Stop it Sakura." I begged blushing remembering what I had said and done earlier.

"Oooh. As long as your not interested in my Sasuke. I'm sure we will be great friends." Ino immediately chirped all happy learning I wasn't interest in her Sasuke.

"You guys too and plus one? Man everyone's here for this stupid thing." Shikamaru complained.

"Yep here we are all nine, no Ten rookies here. Haha this is going to be fun. Especially since the newest rookie is so cute." Kiba laughed.

"Uhh..." I blushed a bit not used to people calling me cute. "Thank you?"

"Hisui ignore Kiba. You don't want to get involved with him." Sakura pushed me behind her a bit.

"Don't flirt with our teamate." Sasuke told Kiba.

I closed my eyes trying to listen in on other people conversations, or lazy people term SLEEP! I love sleep, yet I barely get any with these people around.

"Hey you guys." A guy with whitish hair shouted at us. "You might wanna try keeping it down a little, no offense but, your the ten rookies right? Fresh out of the academy. I wouldn't go making a spectacle of your selves. This isn't a class field trip."

"Well who asked you, who are you!?" Ino spouted angrily.

"I'm Kabuto Yukushi, but really look around you; you've made quite the impression." Kabuto said motioning with his hand to look. All of us looked at the crowd of competition. All of them seemed to be glaring at us although I'm not afraid Naruto looked a bit.

"I could take all of them." I state not afraid of them. I received weird looks from the rookies and Kabuto. "There is nothing to be afraid of besides their rears. Cuz that's all you will be seeing as they run always." I giggled a bit.

"This exam makes everyone tense. You don't want to rub them the wrong way right now. You can't help it. How can you know how things work your just rookies. You remind me of myself a while back." Kabuto recommended.

"This isn't the first time you've taken the exam?" Sakura asked curious.

"No... It's my seventh." He said embarrassed. "They are held twice a year, so this will be my fourth year."

"Wow he must suck." I whispered to Ino making her giggle a bit.

"Wow, a veteran. You must be an expert by now." Sakura said awed.

"An expert at losing." I giggled making Ino laugh again.

"Cool, you can give us all the inside tips." Naruto responded.

"Huh, some expert he's never passed." Shikamaru agreed with me.

"Well Seventh times the charm. That's what they say." Kabuto replied to Shikamaru.

"So I guess all the rumors about the exam being tough are true, oh man I knew this was going to be a drag." Shikamaru sighed.

"Hold on, don't give up hope yet, maybe I can help you kids out a little, with my ninja info cards." Kabuto offered.

"What are they Kabuto-San?" I asked politely.

"It's hard to explain, but these have been chakra encoded with everything I've learned over the past four years." Kabuto explained. "I've got more than 200 of them, so you see; I haven't been completely wasting my time. They might not look like much to the naked eye, in fact they appear blank." He turned a card over to show us it. "Don't want just anyone seeing it."

"What are you doing?" I inquired curiously.

"My using my chakra to reveal secrets, like this." He said making a puff of smoke come from the cards showing a map of the great nations. "Why do you think they all come here to take the exam together at the same time? It's to foster friendship between nations, international brotherhood and all that and it's true enough... As far as it goes."

"But there's another reason." Sasuke stated after not saying anything for a long time.

"Yes, this way they can regulate the total number of Shinobi that end up in each village, maintaining the balance of power. Of the power isn't maintained one nation could wind up with more than its neighbors no it might be tempted to attack them; so they try to maintain the status quo... It makes sense I suppose."

"Do those cards of yours have information on candidates, individually?" Sasuke questioned stepping towards him.

"They might, you have someone special in mind?" Kabuto returned with another question.

"I might." Sasuke replied narrowing his onyx eyes.

"Well I can't promise my information is complete or perfect, but I got something on just about everyone including you guys, of course." Kabuto responded.

"Gaara of the Desert, Rock Lee, and..." Sasuke stopped glancing at me before talking again. "Never mind." Thank Kami he didn't say my name that would be pulling a real Naruto.

"M-may I s-say one?" Hinata asked making my eye widen while she received a nod. "H-Himawari Hyuuga."

Oh no. What if he knows who I am on those cards. Wait, that's impossible. Nobody knows where I am besides Sakura, Sasuke, Naruto, Kakashi, the Hokage and a few high ranking people, so there's no way he'd know who I am, I hope. I squirmed a little where I was standing.

"First up is Rock Lee. A year older than you guys, mission experience 11C 20D, squad leader is Guy and in the last year his TaiJutsu has radically improved, but the rest is shaky. This will be his first time as a candidate and his teammates are Tenten and Neji Hyuuga. Okay now for Gaara of the Desert, mission experience 8C and get this 1B as a Genin. There's not a whole lot more on him except... He survived every mission without a scratch."

"He must be strong. I hope I get o find him." I blankly say making Sakura and Naruto sweatdrop.

"Now for the last one, Himawari Hyuuga." He said making a picture of me appear. Luckily it was a picture of me with the mask I would wear before Team 7 came along. "Not much is known. All I have is a name and a picture and age 13, except I do known she is participating in the Chunin exams."

"Oh." Hinata smiled probably happy to know I'm alive.
