Chapter 36
“It’s a really crazy schedule, though, Eraser.” Mandalay expressed her concerns to Aizawa, who was leaning up against the bus.
“Well, we’re planning to have them acquire early what they normally would get at the beginning of their second year,” He explained for the woman. “So it’s going to be crazy no matter what. Permits to use their quirks in the time of an emergency-- A provisional license allowing them to work as heroes. With villains being so active right now, they also need to learn how to defend themselves.”
“Ah,” The two turned towards Pixie-Bob while she was monitoring the students. “You have one crazy student, Eraser Head.”
“What is it now?”
“Looks like the brown haired girl that jumped off on her own is quite literally riding one of the earth beast dragons to the camp…”
“...Of course she is.” Aizawa could only sigh.
Meanwhile…
Masami let out cheers as she used some vines that she had found in the forest in order to steer one of the earth beasts that looked like a dragon.
“This is so much fun!”
At least somebody was enjoying themselves...
***********
It’s safe to say that Masami made it to the camp with the fastest time out of anybody. Traveling by air was quite the advantage that led to her making it to the camp within half an hour. Those earth beasts were quite fast…
She, quite literally, dropped from the air and landed in crater in front of the camp. Apparently, Aizawa and the two Pussycats had yet to arrive either seeing as going by bus would take them an hour. Masami could only sweat drop at realizing that she arrived way too early.
“Oh,” Masami heard a male voice come from behind her. “I didn’t expect any of the students to be arriving here so soon. How did you get here so fast?”
The voice came from a large male that also dressed in a cat-like manner, so Masami could only assume that he was also a Pussycat.
“O-oh, I rode one of Pixie-Bob’s e-earth dragons,” Masami was once again nervous as she was in the presence of another person she didn’t know.
“...” Masami fiddled with the hems of her sleeves nervously as the man stared at her. “I suppose that means that you can help me prepare lunch.”
Masami’s eyes lit up at the idea of being asked to do something she was actually quite decent at.
“Yes, sir!”
*****
“Of course, you got here before us…” Aizawa sighed as he saw Masami cooking in the kitchen.
“You must be one strong girl to have made it through the forest so quickly,” Mandalay commented with astonishment while Masami shuffled nervously. “Even we take a couple hours!”
“O-oh, I’m not that s-strong,” Masami stuttered out modestly. “I just r-rode one of the e-earth dragons here… It was q-quite fun actually….”
“You make it sound so easy…”
Sweat drops went all around.

It was already past 5:00 pm by the time everybody else trudged through the exit of the woods towards the training camp building.
“Oh, you’re finally here, meow!” Pixie-Bob grinned.
“That took quite some time.” Mandalay’s voice had taken on a teasing tone.
Masami had to sweat drop at the exhausted forms of Class 1-A. They looked like they had gone to hell and back to get here. They were too tired to even notice Masami’s spotless form.
“What do you mean, three hours?!” One of the students complained loudly.
“That’s the time it would’ve taken us. Sorry!” Mandalay wasn’t sorry. “Besides, Masami here made it to the camp within thirty minutes, so you can’t say it’s impossible!”
“Ehhhh?!!!” Masami gave a sheepish smile at the surprised exclamations.
“Haaaaaah?” Bakugo got up in Masami’s face. “How the hell did you manage that?!”
“...” She blinked a couple times before finally replying to the boy’s question. “...I rode a dragon…”
“....” Nobody was sure how to respond to that. Bakugo kept quiet for a few seconds before just walking away. He didn’t feel like dealing with her today.
“If it makes you feel better, you guys did a lot better than I-” Mandalay was interrupted by the arrival of two people.
“Sorry, we’re late!” Masami stiffened up and immediately hid behind Aizawa who had been standing next to her. She would recognize that voice anywhere…
“We got stuck in traffic on the way here.”
The two that stood before them was a couple. They were both heroes, and unfortunately enough for Masami, they would be helping out with the training camp as well.
“Don’t worry about it,” Aizawa told them but sent a curious glance towards Masami who was clutching the back of his shirt while she hid behind him.
She was shaking.
“You arrived almost at the same as the students, so no worries!” Mandalay was sending curious glances to Masami as well. “Anyways, these are two more heroes that will be here for the training camp.”
“I’m Hirohito Kei,” The male one out of the two introduced himself. “Though, most know me as Cobra.”
************
Hirohito Kei: A pro hero known as Cobra who works with his wife. He’s pretty laid back, and his quirk allows blow poisonous gas from his mouth.
**************
“And I’m Hirohito Koharu,” The female introduced herself. “I’m Kei’s wife, and my hero name is Silent Raven.”
***********
Hirohito Koharu: Koharu is the wife of Kei. She's almost always anxious, and her quirk is known as blank. It causes blank spots in a person's memories. Nobody really knows how it works though.
*********
Almost immediately, everybody was not particularly surprised to see Izuku fanboying once more. He seemed to know and admire all the heroes he saw. Masami and everyone already knew though that he was practically a walking hero encyclopedia. Unfortunately, Masami didn’t share the same sentiment this time.
“Damn bastards,” Masami hissed under her breath causing Aizawa’s eyes to widen in surprise. This was the first time that he had heard her curse or speak with such hostility.
The two newcomers looked around at all the exhausted students before their eyes landed on Masami. Aizawa was almost suspicious of how much their eyes widened. They clearly didn’t expect to see Masami here of all places.
“Masami?!” Koharu questioned in surprise causing the young girl to let out a yelp at realizing they noticed her. She practically buried her face in Aizawa’s back as she tried to hide from the two.
“Now, now, Koharu,” Kei held his wife back from going over to Masami. “It looks like she’s still mad at us, so let’s leave her alone for now.”
“Okay…” The woman pouted. Masami peeked a look from behind Aizawa in relief as the couple walked away from her direction.
The poor students of Class A were so confused.
