"Thanks for waiting, everybody! The first match of the second round is a big match!" I could hear Present Mic all the way from the waiting room, but I still made sure to keep a close eye on the screen in front of me. "The man who won a huge victory in the first round and literally left the audience frozen-- From the Hero Course, it's Todoroki Shouto! On the other hand, this guy barely made it past the first round! What kind of fight will he show us this time? From the Hero Course, it's Midoriya Izuku!"

Somehow, I get the feeling that this match will depend on whether or not Shouto decides to use his fire.

"At this year's Sports Festival, both have shown top class performances! It's like two great rivals fighting against each other! Now-- Midoriya versus Todoroki! Start!"

Neither of them hesitated to attack as Shouto sent ice Izuku's way while Izuku flicked in Shouto's direction effectively destroying the ice. I'm glad I'm in this room or else my hair would have been blown back again. Now that I think about it... I should probably find that hair tie...

"Wow! Midoriya stopped Todoroki's attack! He stopped it again!"

It appears that Shouto wants Izuku to injure all of his fingers. This is kind of redundant... It's literally a match of endurance at this point.

"Todoroki doesn't recoil from Midoriya's power and gets in close!" Ah, they're actually fighting now. "Todoroki keeps attacking with overwhelming power! Here comes the finishing ice attack!" Izuku still managed to destroy the ice however. Shouto ran towards Izuku slower than usual giving him the chance to land a strike to Shouto's stomach. "A solid hit! We've got some action!"

They were both on the offense and defense, but I could tell that Izuku was running off of pure adrenaline.

"Th-this is...!" I could only smile as I noticed Shouto finally using his flames in battle. I could only assume that Izuku had said something per usual. However, I had to frown as Endeavor decided to speak up.

"Shouto!! Have you finally accepted yourself?! That's it! Good! It all starts from here for you! With my blood, you will surpass be... You will fulfill my desire!"

"Endeavor suddenly shouts encouragement...?" Can that really be considered encouragement...? "Such a doting father."

I had to smile as the two were about to finally use their full power. I probably shouldn't be, but I do find it amusing that Midnight and Cementoss have to stop them. Literally, Cementoss was already making a barrier between the two. I guess this just goes to show how strong the two are...

I can feel the stadium rumbling as the two attacked. Even Midnight ended up getting blown away.

"What was that just now...? What the heck is up with your class?" Yamada-sensei seemed exasperated at this point.

"The air that had been cooled thoroughly was suddenly heated up and expanded." Aizawa-sensei explained.

"That's what created this explosion...? Just how hot was that?!" I had to smile at how freaked out he sounded. "Jeez, I can't see a thing! Hey, who won the match?"

"M-Midoriya is out of bounds..." Midnight managed to get out as the dust clouds cleared. "Todoroki advances to the third round!"

So... If I win my next match... I'll be up against Shouto...

"The bones in your right arm were shattered..." Recovery Girl told Izuku as he laid on the bed with casts on. I had come here immediately after the match as I knew repairing the arena would take some time, and I figured that I would see how Izuku was doing. It's safe to say that he wasn't doing too well... "It'll never be the same as it was before. I need to remove the pieces of bone to make sure they don't stay in your joints. I'll heal you after that. To push and light a fire under a child who would destroy his body this much for what he yearns for... I don't like it. You're going too far. You, and this boy. You can't praise him for this."

"Midoriya-kun!"

"Deku-kun!"

"Are you okay?!"

Both Yagi-san and myself tensed up in fright as multiple burst into the room.

"You scared me..." The two of us muttered as we clutched where our hearts are.

"Oh, nice to meet you..." Uraraka spoke up as she noticed Yagi-san standing there making me try to hold in a smile. After the whole me walking in on him deflating, I was informed of his situation and made promise to keep it a secret. It's not as though I planned on telling anyone in the first place.

"Yeah..." He gave a hesitant greeting.

"You're all so noisy." Recovery Girl frowned as Izuku finally opened his eyes.

"Everyone..." His voice sounded really raspy. "What about the next match?"

"Since there was a lot of damage to the stage, they're taking a break to repair it." Iida explained for him.

"That match earlier was scary, Midoriya..." Holy shizzlepops... It's the creepy tiny dude from Izuku's class. "What pro's gonna want that?"

"I don't like your style of rubbing salt into his wound." A frog-like girl slapped the boy with her tongue. I think I'll get along with her just fine.

"But it's true!"

"Be quiet, now!" Recovery Girl began scolding them as she started pushing them out of the room. "I know you're worried, but I've got to do surgery now."

"Surgery?!" The four shouted in shock.

"Go on now, get out of here."

They just continued spouting their worries until Recovery Girl shut them out.

"I'm sorry..." Izuku's hair shadowed his eyes as he turned to look at Yagi-san. Though, I suppose I should call him All Might around Izuku. We don't need any confusion going around. "I couldn't do what you asked..." Okay, now I'm the one confused. "If only I hadn't said anything... It's because I said that to Todoroki-kun... That I..."

"Idiot," The two boys turned to me in shock as though they had forgotten I was there. They probably had... "You made Sho-kun realize something. I haven't seen that kind of expression on his face in a long time. Though, while I appreciate you helping Sho-kun out, I expect you to not be so reckless ever again, ya hear? What you did was way too dangerous... This isn't something I'm going to congratulate you on, but I will thank you... Anyways, I'm going to take my leave. My match is next. Get better. Bye All Might. Bye Recovery Girl."

I couldn't help but smile when I heard Izuku freaking out about how I knew Yagi-san was All Might as I was walking out the door.

"And now it's time for the second match of this round! He was played in the last match! From the Hero Course, it's Iida Tenya versus-- She's surprisingly strong under that shy exterior! From General Studies, it's Hideyoshi Masami!"

"Um, I-Iida-san," I got the boy's attention as we stood across from each other. "W-would you mind if I-I took off my shoes a-and glove?"

Considering I was going up against someone whose main strength is speed, I figured it would be a good idea to get rid of my weights.

"T-that's a strange request, but I don't see why not..." Iida sweat dropped as Present Mic called the start of the match, but he was true to his word and gave me time to take off my shoes and remaining glove.

"Eh?" Yamada-sensei made a confused noise as I began taking them off.

"What's she doing?" Even Aizawa-sensei seemed confused.

"It appears that Hideyoshi is taking off both her shoes as well as her remaining glove!" Yamada-sensei observed.

"That feels better!" I popped my neck as I threw the shoes and glove off to the side. Though, I had to sweat drop as it created a rather large crater. "Whoops..."

"O-oi, don't tell me she's been wearing weighted clothing this entire time..." I'm pretty sure Present Mic was sweat dropping at this point.

"I don't even know why we're surprised anymore," Aizawa-sensei sighed.

"T-thank you for allowing it, I-Iida-san. I'm ready to fight n-now." I finally got into a fighting position as I analyzed my opponent.

"U-uh, no problem," Iida sweat dropped as he stared at the crater.

He soon shook it off though as he shot off in my direction using his quirk. However, with my new found freedom, I managed to easily dodge out of the way. I tried to send a kick his way like I did with Ashido, but he ended up dodging. He began running in circles around me as we ended up in the middle of the stage causing me to sigh.

"It appears that I really will need my speed for this fight..." And with that, I 'disappeared.'

"Huh? Where has Hideyoshi gone?! It's almost as though she's disappeared completely from the stadium!"

"Um, I'm right here," I sweat dropped as I kicked Iida in the back sending him towards the edge.

"Gahh!" Present Mic shrieked. "Hideyoshi has somehow reappeared behind Iida and has managed to get a hit in! How did she manage it?"

"H-How did you...?" Iida stared at me confused as he managed to keep from going out-of-bounds. "I thought you were quirkless..."

"I-I am," I told him seriously. "I-I just run a lot... With heavy weights..."

"That still doesn't make sense..." He sweat dropped as I shrugged. I hadn't been lying. I've been training for years to become this fast.

"I-I'm sorry for doing this," I apologized while he was distracted and disappeared from his sight once more before reappearing in front of him. He tried to block the kick I sent towards him, but he was overpowered in the end and ended up being sent out of bounds just like Ashido. Luckily, he didn't hit the wall anywhere near as hard as Ashido did.

"I-Iida, out of bounds!" Midnight announced as she got over my speed. "Hideyoshi wins!"

Yay! This means I get to fight against Sho-kun! I haven't sparred with him in forever.

"I don't even understand her anymore..."
