April 20 1979

A Few Weeks have passed and so far everything has been going well for Alex and Carrie. They have been hanging out more often and even had another movie night with Laura and Daniel. Right now School day has ended as everyone was leaving the school as students were talking to each other while other students were running out of the gate.

Alex was walking towards the gate as he was fixing his hair and looked at the time on his watch until he heard someone calling his name as he turned around and saw Carrie walking towards her as she had a huge smile on her face.

Carrie: Hey Alex!

Alex: Hey Carrie.

Carrie noticed Alex was a little upset about something as she read his mind and found out that he was upset at his father, Apparently His Father again stole money from him and now Alex was even more angry at him.

Alex noticed Carrie staring at him as he was confused until he spoke to her.

Alex: Is something the matter?

Carrie: No. . . It's nothing, By the way You told me we were gonna hang out again. Where are we going?

Alex: Just a walk around the town.

Carrie smiled at him as Alex smiled at her back before both of them exited through the school gate as Alex turned around and saw Daniel and Laura smiling at them as they both gave him a thumbs up as he glared at them.

Alex and Carrie were walking around Chamberlain as She was looking around the town until she noticed Alex buying something as he walked towards Carrie and said something to her.

Alex: This is for you.

Carrie was looking at him as Alex gave her the gift as she saw what it was.

Carrie felt her heart beating fast as she looked at the rose as Alex was staring at her until she took the rose as she smiled at him.

Carrie: This looks beautiful. . . Thank you.

Alex smiled at her as they continued walking around Chamberlain as Alex noticed Carrie was holding his hand as he couldn't help but smile at her.

Soon Alex and Carrie got inside the diner as they ordered a burger and a soda as they were waiting for their order until Carrie wanted to speak to Alex about something.

Carrie: Is something bothering you?

Alex: Nothing is bothering me.

Carrie was worried about him as Alex was looking at the ground until she began holding his hand.

Alex looked at Carrie as she was staring at him until she spoke to him.

Carrie: If there's anything that is bothering you, I'm always here for you.

Alex: Thanks. If anything is bothering you then I'll be there for you.

Carrie smiled at what he said as Alex smiled at her back until their order arrived as they began eating while talking to each other.

Alex continued eating the food as he noticed Carrie drinking soda as she looked at him.

Carrie noticed Alex staring at her as she smiled at him nervously as he gave a small smile back until they heard someone calling Carrie's name as they looked around and saw who it was.

Tina: Look who it is. Creepy Carrie is here!

She began laughing at Carrie as she was trying to ignore her. Alex was already upset as he was staring at Tina and spoke to her.

Alex: Get out of here Tina.

Tina: You know Chamberlain doesn't want you two here.

Alex: Like I said get lost.

Tina: You know Billy still wants payback and-

Alex: Looks like Billy needs to stop hiding behind his girlfriend's skirt and started acting like a man.

Tina was shocked as Alex glared at her as he continued speaking to her.

Alex: Also You need to get lost or else.

Tina gave a death glare to both of them as she immediately walked out of the diner as Alex looked back at Carrie who was staring at her.

Carrie: You shouldn't have done that.

Alex: I'm tired of them always picking on the weak. It's about time someone goes against them and show them that we're better then them.

Carrie was looking at him as Alex said something to her.

Alex: And I always hate them picking on you, You don't deserve all this.

Carrie couldn't help but smile at Alex as she got up from her seat and hugged him as he didn't know what to do but hugged her back as they were smiling at each other.

Alex paid the bill as both of them exited the diner as they were talking to each other until Carrie said something to Alex.

Carrie: Sorry Alex but I have to go home now. I don't want to worry Momma.

Alex: It's alright. I'll drop you back home.

Carrie smiled at him as both of them began making their way towards Carrie's house but unknown to them Christine along with Billy and her friends were watching them as she was angry.

Christine: Those two are gonna pay for this.

Billy: You damn right. I'm already getting tired of them.

Christine: Watch what will happen to both of them tomorrow at school.

Meanwhile Carrie and Alex were walking towards her house until they saw the house as Carrie immediately walked towards the main door and waved at Alex as he waved at her back until she entered the house as Alex walked back to his home.
