April 13 1979

The Time is Seven fifteen a.m, Alex was making his way to Ewens High School as he was thinking about Carrie along with the dates that they had. He was happy Carrie was doing alright for the last several weeks. He continued walking as he noticed Daniel and Laura aren't here as he had a feeling that they were either absent or late for school.

He continued walking as he saw some students walking past him as they were talking until he saw the school gate as he was gonna walk towards it until he heard someone calling his name as Alex saw who it was.

Carrie had a huge smile on her face as she walked towards him as he spoke to her.

Alex: Hey Carrie.

Carrie: Hey Alex, How are you?

Alex: I'm doing alright. What about you?

Carrie: I'm doing alright too.

Alex: That's good to hear.

Carrie had a huge smile on her face as both of them walked through the gate as they entered the school as they were talking to each other.

Carrie: Where's Daniel and Laura?

Alex: Either They're absent or are late for school.

Carrie: Oh I see. . . .

Alex: Urgh Great, The First class is Math Class.

Carrie: Oh yeah, You told me it's boring.

Alex: Yeah. . . It's boring alright. I'm probably gonna sleep through the whole lesson.

Carrie: If you do that, you'll get in trouble.

Alex: Your right about that.

Carrie and Alex continued talking to each other as they made it to Math Class as they took their seats and waited for the teacher to show up. Alex saw Carrie drawing on her notebook as he was gonna speak to her until he heard someone calling his name as he turned around and saw Daniel and Laura walking towards him as they took their seats and spoke to him.

Daniel: Good Morning Brother.

Alex: Good Morning to you too. Where were you?

Laura: Yeah long story short, We went out to buy something and we didn't realise how much time has past so we quickly tried to make it back to school.

Alex: I see.

Daniel: So What's going on for you?

Alex: Nothing much.

Laura: I see.

The Teacher entered the class as Alex was already feeling tired as the teacher began explaining today's lesson as everyone was taking notes.

Carrie was writing down some notes as she looked at Alex and noticed he was sleeping as she smiled at him before she tried to wake him up as he opened his eyes and looked at her.

Alex: What's the matter?

Carrie: Don't fall asleep in class. If the teacher catches you sleeping, You'll be in big trouble.

Alex: Alright.

Carrie smiled at him as Alex stared at her before they continued writing down some notes until Math Class was over as everyone exited the class as Carrie was going towards the next class which was art until she heard someone calling her name as she turned around and saw Sue.

Sue: Carrie. . . Can we just talk for a minute?

Carrie ignored her as Sue was calling her name but it was no use as Carrie wasn't even answering her. Alex noticed this as he was confused by what Sue wanted from Carrie.

Art Class was happening as some students were drawing something while other students were talking to each other and cracking jokes.

Carrie was drawing something as Alex was looking at her as she noticed him and spoke to him.

Carrie: Aren't you gonna draw something?

Alex: I already did.

Carrie: Can I see it?

Alex looked at her as Carrie was staring at him until he gave the drawing to Carrie as she looked at it.

Carrie: It looks beautiful.

Alex: Thanks. Can I see your drawing?

Carrie: Sure.

Alex was looking at her as Carrie was done with her drawing as she gave it to him as he looked at it.

Alex: That's an amazing and beautiful drawing.

Carrie: Thank you.

Alex and Carrie talked to each other as Daniel and Laura noticed them talking as they were smiling at them as they spoke to each other.

Daniel: They both look happy together.

Laura: Your right about that. I never seen Alex and Carrie that happy. I'm glad everything is going well for them.

Daniel: Your right about that. We're always there for them.

Laura: Indeed.

Art Class was over as all the students went to the next class which was physics class as the teacher showed up and began today's lesson.

School Day was going well as it was lunch time as Carrie sat next to Alex as he was looking at her until he noticed Daniel and Laura sitting on the other table.

Daniel and Laura smiled at him as Alex gave them a death glare until Carrie spoke to him.

Carrie: What's the matter?

Alex: Nothing.

Carrie: If you say so.

Alex: What's the matter? Are you alright?

Carrie: I didn't bring my lunch today and I'm feeling hungry.

Alex: You can share some food with me.

Carrie: Wait what?

Alex: Carrie, Your hungry and you won't feel well if you don't eat anything. So it's alright, You can share some food with me.

Carrie smiled at him as Alex gave her a pizza as she looked at it before she took a bite and began eating it as she looked at him.

Some time later, School day was over as Sue was making her way out of the school as she heard someone calling her name as she turned around and saw Alex.

Sue: What's the matter?

Alex: I want to know, What do you want with Carrie?

Sue: Look I just want to apologise for what happened in the locker room a few weeks back.

Alex: How can I even trust you? Your Christine's best friend, What if this is another prank?

Sue: I'm seriously Alex, I haven't spoken to Christine since the incident. In fact I hate her for the way she humiliate those students.

Alex looked at her as Sue was looking down on the ground before she spoke to him.

Sue: Carrie doesn't deserve all this. I want to make things right and make sure she won't go through this again.

Alex: Your right. I only want Carrie to be happy.

Sue: Right. . . . Also You seem to be around Carrie every day. Are you in love with her?

Alex was silent as Sue looked at his face before she spoke to him.

Sue: I am right. You are in love with Carrie. Just remember one thing, Make sure Carrie stays happy for the rest of her life. She deserves some happiness and love.

Alex: Yeah. . . .

Sue: If you ever hangout with Carrie. Please let her know that I want to talk to her.

Alex: Will do.

Sue: Thank you Alex.

Alex nodded as Sue walked away as He exited the school and saw Carrie standing by the school gate as he walked towards her as he spoke to her.

Alex: I thought you went back home.

Carrie: I was waiting for you.

Alex: Wanna go somewhere?

Carrie: *Smiles* I would love too but I need to go back home. Momma needs my help for some chores.

Alex: Oh it's alright. I'll drop you back home.

Carrie smiled at him again as Alex was walking her back home as she made it to her home. Carrie walked to the front door as she waved at him as he waved at her back before she went inside as Alex had a smile on his face.
