Daniel: That's right.

Alex: Hey Carrie, How are you?

Carrie: I'm alright. . . What about you?

Alex: I'm alright too.

Carrie looked at him as she was fixing her hair until both of them entered the high school as they continued walking until someone walked towards Carrie as she saw that it was Sue.

Sue: Carrie, Can we talk for a minute?

Carrie didn't answer Sue and walked away as Sue had a sad look on her face as she walked away. Alex noticed Sue was walking towards Tommy as he continued looking at them before he heard the bell ring as the first class was gonna begin.

First Class was Arts Class as Carrie was drawing a forest as Alex was drawing a river as he looked at her.

Alex: That looks amazing.

Carrie: Thank you. . .

Alex: Your welcome. I want to ask you something.

Carrie: What is it?

Alex: After School, Do you wanna hangout?

Carrie was staring at Alex as she was thinking about it as he was waiting for a response until she said something to him.

Carrie:. . . Sure.

Alex: Alright then, I'll see you after school.

Carrie nodded as they heard the bell ring as they immediately left the class and head towards their next class which was geography class.

Alex: What's the matter?

Daniel: Good Luck on your date with Carrie.

Alex gave him a death glare as Laura and Daniel began laughing.

Laura: Calm Down Alex *Laughs*

Daniel: *Laughs* Yeah brother, Calm down.

Alex was still giving them a death glare as they saw the geography teacher entering the classroom as everyone was silent as he began teaching today's lesson.

Geography Class ended as everyone exited the school as Alex saw Carrie walking towards the class as he saw Sue making her way towards Carrie as he looked at them.

Sue: Carrie Please, I know your angry but-

Carrie didn't look at her as she went towards the next class which was Math Class as Sue sighed to herself and walked away as Alex was looking at her.

(I wonder what she wants from Carrie?)

School Day has ended as everyone was making their way out of the high school as they were talking to each other while cracking jokes. Carrie was making her way out of the school as she stood by the gate and waited for Alex.

Carrie continued waiting as she was fixing her hair until she saw Alex walking towards her as she spoke to him.

Carrie: Where are we going?

Alex: You'll find out soon.

Carrie was looking at him as they continued walking as she thought about reading his mind but she knew it will ruin the surprise so she continued following Alex.

Sometime later, Carrie noticed they were walking towards the forest as she spoke to him.

Carrie: Alex. . . Are we going to the forest?

Alex: Yeah. I love the forest and it is a great hangout spot too.

Carrie continued walking with him through the forest as she looked at the trees along with some animals roaming around until she spoke to him.

Carrie: Are you sure it's safe?

Alex: Yeah it is safe. It's not like there's a killer is out here.

Carrie gave a scared look as Alex noticed the look on her face as he spoke to her.

Alex: Relax, I was only kidding.

Carrie: Oh I see. . . .

Alex and Carrie continued walking through the forest as they saw some birds flying as they continued walking until they noticed the river as they walked towards it.

They were looking at the river as Carrie and Alex continued looking at it until they sat down on a log as they continued looking at the river while talking to each other.

Alex: My Mom used to take me to the forest since she says its peaceful and helps you relax when anyone is having a bad day.

Carrie was gonna say something until she noticed the sad expression on Alex's face as she knew why he was sad. He missed his mother and began having memories about her. Alex was silent as he continued looking at the river until Carrie hold his hand as he looked at her.

Carrie: Your Mother is right. . . . Nature can help your mind be in peace.

Alex: That's right.

Carrie continued holding Alex's hand as he was looking at her until she smiled at him.

Alex: You know you should smile more often. You look beautiful when you smile.

Carrie was smiling at him as Alex smiled at her back as they continued looking at the river.

Time began to pass by as it was three twenty three p.m as Carrie knew it was getting late and she needed to go back home but she didn't want to go since she wanted to stay a little longer but she didn't want to make her mother worried. Alex noticed Carrie was thinking about something as he spoke to her.

Alex: What's the matter?

Carrie: I'm sorry Alex, I need to go now.

Alex: Oh Okay then. Let's get going then.

Carrie and Alex got up and began making their way out of the forest as they were talking to each other.

Carrie: Here's a question, What if there was a killer out here?

Alex: I'll beat them up.

Carrie: I see. Also I want to tell you something.

Alex: What is it?

Carrie: Don't get involve in too many fights, I hate seeing you get hurt.

Alex looked at her as Carrie gave him a worried expression as he answered her.

Alex: I'll try.

Carrie smiled at him as he smiled at her back before they left the forest and began making their way to Carrie's house as Carrie entered her house and waved at Alex as he looked at her.

Alex had a huge smile on his face as he began walking back home happily.

Meanwhile Carrie noticed her mother was asleep in the living room as she made her way to her room as she put her books at her table and smiled to herself remembering Alex's words.
