March 29 1979

While Alex was at the principal's office, Meanwhile At Carrie's house, Carrie was at the closet sitting as she was waiting for her mother to open the door. Carrie hated her mother but she didn't want to leave her because she loved her, Carrie continued looking at the mirror in the closet as she saw the tears falling from her eyes as she wiped it off.

Carrie saw the vase in the corner as she began looking at it until the vase began floating as Carrie's eyes were widen until the vase fell down as it was broken.

Carrie was shocked as she couldn't believe it, She began looking at the mirror as it began shaking as she continued staring at it until it was broken.

Carrie looked at the glass shards on the ground as she saw her reflection. She continued looking at it until she remembered Alex giving her a napkin when she was crying. She couldn't help but think about him since he was caring about her and felt bad for her. Carrie felt bad snapping at him as she thought about speaking to Alex tomorrow.

Meanwhile At Ewen's High School, Alex was at the principal's office as he had a bloody nose as he wiped the blood off and continued looking at the principal who was upset about the fight he had with Billy.

Principal: Alex, This is a serious matter.

Alex was silent as the principal sighed to himself as he continued speaking to him.

Principal: Alex, Your a good students and your grades are good too but I can't tolerate behaviour like in our school.

Alex: If you really can't tolerate behaviour like this then why isn't Christine and her friends not in trouble?

Principal: Try to-

Alex: So I'm the only one in trouble I see. Looks like Christine's Dad paid you so that she's not in trouble.

Principal: Alex, Stop this right now!

Alex: The Fact that I'm in trouble for defending someone shows you don't care about your students.

Principal: I do care about them.

Alex: Then Why isn't Christine and her friends not in trouble? The Fact that she humiliated Carrie and you didn't do anything about it shows your just a coward who cares about money only, Not your students.

The Principal was silent as Alex was staring at him as he continued speaking to him.

Alex: It doesn't matter if I get suspended, I at least showed your true colours.

The Principal glared at Alex as he was looking at him until he spoke to him.

Principal: You can go now Ambrose but you will have detention for three days.

Alex just stared at him as he left the office as he was fixing his nose until he saw Laura and Daniel walking towards him as they spoke to him.

Daniel: Are you alright?

Alex: I'm fine.

Laura: Your nose is bleeding-

Alex: Like I said, I'm fine.

Daniel: So What happened in there?

Alex: I got detention for three days. I don't know what's he's gonna do about Christine and her friends but they are in trouble.

Laura: Good, Let's hope they get the worst punishment ever.

Daniel: Your right about that, Those people are sick and cruel.

Alex: Your right about that.

Daniel: Let's walk you back home.

Alex: Sure.

The Trio exited the school as they continued talking while making their way to Alex's house as Daniel was cracking jokes as Laura was laughing at them but Alex wasn't listening as he was thinking about Carrie.

Daniel and Laura noticed Alex was thinking about something as Daniel called his name but Alex didn't responded to him as they were confused.

Daniel: Alex, You alright brother?

Alex: What?

Laura: Did you even hear us?

Alex: I'm sorry, What did you guys say?

Daniel: Alex, Are you alright? Is there something the matter?

Laura: You can talk to us about it.

Daniel: We're always here for you brother.

Alex: Its nothing guys. Don't worry about me.

Daniel and Laura looked at him as they continued walking until they made it to Alex's house as he said "Bye" to them as Daniel and Laura decided to go to a park to relax while Alex entered his house and rested on the couch.

Two Hours have passed and Alex was done with his math homework as he was watching TV until he heard the knock on the front door as he was confused until he got up from the couch and walked towards the door.

Alex opened the front door and saw some police officers holding his father as he was drunk as Alex was annoyed.

Officer: Alex Ambrose?

Alex: That's my name.

Officer: Your Father was involved in a bar fight and we had to stop him from creating even more damage.

Alex glared at his father as he was smiling at Alex as he can smell beer as he closed his eyes in anger.

The Officers left as Alex's father was walking until he sat down on the couch as he had a beer bottle and began drinking as Alex glared at him.

John: What are you staring at Brat?

Alex: Your lucky I didn't break your teeth yet.

John: Ha, You don't even have the guts.

Alex glared at him as John laughed at him and continued drinking beer as Alex spoke to him.

Alex: Its funny because you don't have any guts at all.

John was angry as he threw a beer bottle at Alex as he moved out of the way as he began shouting at Alex as he didn't listen to his threats as he went inside his room.

Alex looked at the watch and saw that the time was nine fifty eight p.m as he didn't hear his father talking as he knew he was asleep. Alex laid down on his bed as he was thinking about Carrie until he closed his eyes as he was asleep.

March 30 1979

Alex along with Daniel and Laura were at Ewen's High School as they were at the library. Daniel and Laura went to check for some books as Alex was sitting by himself until he saw Carrie.

Carrie was looking for some books on the shelf as she noticed Alex looking at some books as she was feeling nervous about talking to him. Alex noticed Carrie staring at him as she turned her head back on the shelf as Alex continued reading some books.

Carrie was feeling nervous as she walked towards Alex as he was reading a book until she spoke to him.

Carrie: Hey. . . . .

Alex: Hey.

Carrie was silent as She sat down as Alex was looking at her until she continued talking to him.

Carrie: I'm really sorry about what happened yesterday.

Alex: Its okay.

Carrie: No it's not. . . . You were being so nice and I snapped at you for no reason.

Alex: Like I said, Its alright. Are you doing okay?

Carrie: I'm. . . Doing Alright.

Alex: That's great to hear.

Carrie: I heard about your fight with Billy yesterday.

Alex: That Bastard deserved that beating.

Carrie: Language.

Alex: What?

Carrie: Its bad to swear.

Alex: Sorry about that.

Carrie: Its okay.

Alex and Carrie were staring at each other as they heard the bell ringing as they both got up from their seats.

Carrie: My Name is Carrie White.

Alex: I'm Alex Ambrose.

Carrie couldn't help but smile at him as Alex smiled at her back before she walked away as Alex also left the library.
