Da-ray and Ba-jin
Gameknight tapped the edge of Sunny's hut, "Sunny...Sunny are you in there?" Steps could be heard from within, they seemed distant. But how can that be, Gameknight thought, how can she be so far in? The hut is so small. Just then the wooden door swung open to reveal Sunny's face. Her dark black hair ran down the side of her face. She looks just like - he couldn't finish what he was thinking, "Hi Gameknight," Sunny said. Her face-tear stained and wet. "Why have you come to my hut and not a big highly honored one that will fit you all?"
"Yours is much better," Monet said quckly, "so much color. Color makes everything better."
"You think so?" Sunny said standing a little taller.
"Of course! Why not? Yours is the best of all o fthem!"
"You really think so?" Sunny said wiping a tear from her eye. "Well in that case come in come in. I'm very honored to let you stay here. Come on let's go downstairs."
"Wait!" Gameknight said, "Downstairs!"
"Keep it down," Sunny said sharply giving an angry look at Gameknight. "This is all a secret. I'm the only one here with a downstairs so please have some respect."
"OK OK I'm sorry," his cheeks turning slightly red as he smiled at his dad embarrassed. As they headed down, Monet started at the painted walls, "a sunset," she said softly. "Da-ray would have loved that."
"Wait! Did you say Da-ray?" Sunny was staring at her with so much surprise that Money almost had to look away.
"Yes. Yes, I did," Monet said slowly, "She was my friend when I went to Zombie Town."
"You went to Zombie Town!"
"Yes I did...don't ask it's a long story."
"I know her! She is well....well," she started to frown. "She sacrificed her life for me. I Don't know if she lived or not!"
"No...wait. What! She's dead! No...no...you're kidding right?"
"I'm sorry, Monet. I'm telling the truth. She saved me from a Zombie attack back in our other makeshift village. I started painting because of her." A tear slowly dripped down her face. "I saw another zombie with her. Both of them had freshly painted shirts. I hate to say it but the other zombie was taken by enderman. Her name was Ba-Kin or something."
"No Ba-Jin!" Please say you heard a different name. Please. Please. Please!" She burst into tears. "Noooo Ba-Jin. Nooooo." She was so sad.
Gameknight couldn't watch. He turned to his dad. "Dad, please go with sunny. We will meet you down there." Monkeypants looked at Gameknight concerned. "Please, Dad!"
"Fine. But don't be too long."
"Thanks, Dad." Gameknight turned to his sister. She was reeling on the ground crying and mumbling. "B-B-Ba-Jin."
"Da-Ray. Please Noooo." They sat there for a long time."
"Monet," he finally said, "You never told me a lot about Ba-Jin and Da-Ray...Can you please?"
"Oh well. I guess but please don't get mad at me if I start to cry."
"Oh Monet, of course not." He gave her a small smile but she did not return the favor.
"Well," she started. "I met Ba-Jin at Spawn when I first spawned in Minecraft. She was kind to me when I was so terrified. I was startled to see her but her warm greeting comforted me. I still can't believe the life she went through all the stuff only for the clan..." How did I turn into a zombie in the first place? I know it was your mod and all...but I never knew why it was on me." She sat there for awhile. I can still remember the look on her face when she first saw her artsy shirt I made for her..." "Oh Ba-Jin" A tear fell down her face adn got stuck in her blue hair. "And when I painted the fountain...Ha! She didn't understand the meaning of the word pretty or beautiful." She paused. "I met Da-Ray at Ba-Jin's house. I painted her shirt there. I still remember some of those words she said to me." "Mo-nay, this is a great gift that has been given. Thank you you." "I was so excited when she said thank you but I just...just can't accept that their dead. They were my first friends in Minecraft. I can't let them go." she started to cry. "Tom...my...I miss....miss them," she said between sobs.
"Can...can you s-....save them?"
"Jenny, we will discuss this at the village." They sat there a little longer.
"Monet, we have to go."
She looked up at him. Sorrow and grief in her eyes. "Please, Tommy, tell me it isn't true please."
I'm sorry, Jenny. I-I can't," as he looked into her eyes he suddenly felt really hungry. "C'mon, Let's go get food."
"O-O-OK," she said sadly, "Let's go." As they descended, Monet ate an apple. He looked into his inventory but found nothing.
Suddenly a sharp pain pierced him all over. "Ow. What was that for, Jenny?"
"That wasn't me, Tommy."
"Well that's strange," as they kept walking, another sharp pain hit him and another. Then he realized, "Jenny, my hunger!"
"Oh geez. This is bad. I have nothing for you to eat."
Another sharp pain but this time he flashed red. "Oh no," he thought, "This is very very bad." "Jenny, help, please."
"I...I can't," she stammered.
"Jenny, help. I can't walk. I'm gonna fall." He started to get weaker and weaker.
"Dad!" Jenny shouted at the top of her lungs. "Dad, help!"
As Gameknight heard footsteps coming up the stairs, he grabbed for Monet one last time. "Help." Then the darkness took him.
