After a night of cake and cuddles you and Koneko found yourselves asleep in bed. Cuddling and making conversation about life at school, hobbies, art, and everything else. Koneko rolled herself up in a ball as it started to rain heavily that night. Dark clouds and fog filled the air. Possibly making it hard for some to fall back asleep.

Kitty found herself rubbing her eyes and looking over to cuddle. Only sad that you weren't in your spot. Wolfie. Hurry up. I want lovings. She laid there patiently for a few minutes and then heard a slight creaky noise. "Honey?" She called. No answer as she made it out the bed slowly. Crawling out of the covers and looking for you. "Wolfie, I miss you."

Meanwhile with a raincoat on you are standing outside of the balcony. Looking in to check on her it's safe to say that she is not to thrilled with that kind of behavior. Time to walk in. You fold up your umbrella before stepping back to the bedroom. She sits back on the bed grumbling. "Oh, hey Kitty. Sorry I ahhh; well you see; alright I needed some air and didn't want to take you. But I love you very much and I'm here. You're beautiful."

"What's your deal?"

"Guess I got hung up. Though I am feeling much better. Forgive me." You hang up your coat and walk back to the bed. "Shall we?"

"You deserve it?"

"Well, I think I do?"

"Fine but you're telling me what's wrong."

You plop on the bed and get comfortable. "Guess I just couldn't sleep and I'd grab some air. Though it seems like we always have good times just the two of us talking heart to heart when it rains. The fact a cat and dog like rain."

"I know..."

"Koneko you sure you're feeling alright lately?"

"Wolfie are you really one to talk? Really? I'm worried about you. Going after your brother and sisters. Like that time you went behind my back on your other brothers."

"I try not to worry you Koneko."

"I don't want you to get hurt."

"Exactly."

She smacked you and you roll off the bed. Could have went overkill and really made it hurt but it was a normal slap. "Please. Don't. You can't get hurt." She hugged you while on the ground. "I need you."

"Woah. Koneko..."

"You've been able to relate and make me smile. Hug me and treat me well. Rias is a friend and mother figure. You are my lover. I didn't think I would truly have such a wonderful thing. The thing being love. Someone I don't have to throw myself at to see if I can get their attention. To cuddle and not expect desires. Their is no way I can truly explain how much I love you."

This is my mess and this whole time it's been hurting her. Better yet ripping her apart. I feel like a monster. I feel from my shirt that she's crying and doesn't want to look at me.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

It just stayed there. The only noise that could be heard was the rain pouring outside. Very dim as a single lamp attempted to brighten the room. She exhaled and stopped sobbing and just closed her eyes peacefully. Then squeezed tighter. "Please..."

"Yes?"

"Take me with you."

You push her away for a moment and arise to your feet. "I can't do that. You know I can't do that. It's part of my duty to protect you. How am I going to keep that promise?" Maybe not thinking around this. So cut and dry at it seems?

"But you're eating my insides away. I would rather be beaten than have my heart breaking from me not being able to help. It's who I am. I've been a Devil more. I have to fight. My piece is to fight. You can't stop me. If you try I... Babe please don't make me." She pushed you away and cracked her knuckles.

That hurt me. I feel crushed knowing she just pushed me away. Wow. I deserve this.

"Or I'll fight you."

"Kone... Kitty..."

She took a breath. "Don't call me Kitty when you piss me off."

"Koneko I don't want to hurt you."

She drew hands and a battle stance. "Suck it. You'll be hurt."

"Fine. Fine. Fine! I see how this is. But I will say this."

Koneko was ready to strike. "Make it quick."

"I never met a woman such as yourself. I have burdened you with much trouble. More than what I realize. You have just amount of stake in these issues as I do. Knowing your siblings are dating makes things complicated. Very very complicated. I will stand down."

Koneko backed up. "I don't get it. Why? What it is?"

"First off I'm smart. You would win. Take that as you like. As well as you win. If you wish to join me you make go ahead. I'll still do my best to slay my family and protect the one I love. I sound very poetic tonight after picking up a book. Been trying to act more mature. Though it's been kicking my ass I assure you. I do love you and am afraid of what is next. The next chapter could really be a bloodbath. And not the kind for entertainment purposes. Well, I'll stop. I'm rambling like an idiot."

"No." She shook her head. "Just level heading. Gathering your thoughts. You're okay."

"So. Back to bed?" You smile.

"You sure you don't want the couch? Better yet the box?"

"Cardboard over the couch? Give me the couch."

"Actually." She gripped you by the wrist and flung you into bed. "That's more like it. Now be with me."

She shake your head to fix your hair. "Right. Always. No problem doing so." It's the least I can do. Love you Kitty.

Oh Wolfie if you only knew. After all, you are the one who can do this to me. I've been waiting for the perfect moment too. Seems like we have more to do. Love.

At 11 PM I drove to JFK to pick up a friend and here I am at 5 AM finishing this piece and readying for work at 7:30 AM. Yes I'm insane and so stoked I got this done. Aoogah!

Koneko cleared everything up with you and now you hope that you can return the favor and better your relationship and putting into another step. Mind you it's early but increase trust level and affection.
