The warmth in her chest was just starting to skyrocket. Breath becoming faint. Being insecure about her looks didn't help her any. "Don't look at me like that. It's kind of embarassing."

"I know I'm not any model either Koneko. I just want to give you all of me. Cuddle on my chest. Feel your heartbeat."

She blushed. "I trust you. Please be gentle. And careful with the ears. I've never cuddled with a boy before."

*BUZZER!*

"HUH?" Koneko woke up and looked at her alarm clock. It was time to get up for classes. If she was well at least. Turning it off she caught her breath and she was a little shaken. What the heck is going on? What was I dreaming? She picked herself out of bed and looked into the mirror. Playing with her hair her ears couldn't be seen. "Guess I can go back to class and eat with him when were done. Though I feel this loneliness. I want to cuddle. I want to feel secure again." She picked up clothes from the hanger and went to her underwear drawer. If I want to feel confident what do I wear?

A knock came to the door. "Koneko? May I come in?"

"Just a minute." She called. Making her decisions quick she got dressed and opened the door. "Oh... Morning Akeno?" Confused on this whole thing.

"You seem better you have a moment?"

"Kind of..."

Akeno walked in and shut the door behind her. "I just wanted to say me and him aren't like that. I get it. I talked to Rias."

"You what?" She blushed.

"(FN). Look I see it, she sees it, and both of us really want to just want to know where it goes. We did a pact last night and that's it. Stop by his room. He's looking forward to seeing how you're doing. With your luck maybe he's getting dressed."

Koneko shook her head. "And what is that supposed to mean?"

"Oh c'mon. You've seen that chest. Knock on his door. Get your answer." She smirked and walked right out.

Koneko stood there a little embarrassed. Get my answer?... Hmmmm... It couldn't to see if we still on for that date. I mean time out. Something. I don't know anymore. She took a final look in the mirror. Hair is good, no wrinkles, and face is clean. Looking good. She walks out of her room and the hallway is empty. Everyone seems to be downstairs. She heads to room and knocks.

"Come in." You called.

"Hey (FN)..." Oh my, she's right. You were hapoy to see her out and about as she looked at your bare chest. Just putting a shirt on.

"Koneko. Feeling better?"

"Lots. Sweet. So after classes were on? Right?"

"I would love to. Nice to get out and about again."

"Yup. Long as we want."

"But..."

"Koneko? Excuse my language here. I don't care what that hypocritical bastard piece of shit has to say about me. I wish him dead." You finish putting on your shirt. I've been training hard and out off that workout to do smaller ones. I'm ready. But I hope you don't get hurt. I don't want you involved. This is my battle."

"But..." She looked at those eyes of hatred. "Alright. But I'm always here and I've been doing this for quite some time. Just fair warning."

"I know. Hope it doesn't come to that." I know you're angry, I just want you to be okay. I don't want to get hurt like that again.

Finally classes were over and you hung up your uniform shirt before laying back on the couch. Doing your best to get some homework done in class you thought a manga for a few minutes would be a nice change of pace. You were just kicking it before the girls came in all at once. "Hey people. What's up?"

"You look comfortable." Noted Rias.

"Worked my ass off for tonight. Chilling now. Not for too long though." You close the manga and sit up. "Koneko we good?"

"Well..." Rias and Akeno nodded together. "Yeah. Let's go."

"Sweet. Literally. Take it easy everyone. We won't be gone too long."

"Dinner at seven. Bye now." Waved Rias. Though watch out when it becomes night.

As Koneko bite into a strawberry snow cone her mind started to space out again. Daydreaming of eating this cold one on a sunny beach in a bathing suit and sundress over. Sweet and refreshing to perfection. Weather a little on the warm side tonight. "Wow this is good." She took a breath of fresh air as she sat on a park bench with you.

"Guess we picked a good time and spot."

"Yeah. This feels nice. Almost perfect."

"Something missing Koneko?"

She snapped into reality. "Thanks for tonight. Does it feel like, something else?"

"You mean a date?" You blush.

"You... do?"

"That I do. I want to do more of these. With you. I mean if you're not busy." Nervous. Awkward just a hair. But truthful.

Ruffles could heard in the tree above you two. "Who's there?" Gasped Koneko.

"It's curfew and you aren't close to home." Called a voice.

"Easy. Cats don't have bedtime. We take naps." Said another voice.

Koneko froze. No...

"Shirone. How you been?" Said the voice.

You were just puzzled. "Who's that?"

"My my. I know you're shy sister. But you haven't told your boyfriend about me? Wow. What else do you hide from him?" The voice revealed herself. A busty, dark haired woman hovered down.

"What do you want Kuroka?" Asked Koneko.

"Establish ground rules. And for the record I have the more handsome of the two. Though surprised our kinds get along. Right?" Kuroka smiled as your brother came to her side.

You shook your head. "Lightning. What now?"

"Someone in a rough mood?" He mocked.

"Let's just get this over with." You point out.

"Fine. It's simple. You stay away from her. In return no curfew." Lightning offered it.

"And you will still stalk me from above. Correct?"

"Listen Blanks you think you're completely off the hook? No. I'm giving you room to breath. Seems fair."

You are lucky I'm in a good mood you bastard. "Fine. Now go away."

"Glad we can have this understanding. Now if you please, stay away from her. She can do much better than you. Let's go Dear." Lightning took Kuroka's hand.

"Bye Shirone." Kuroka waved as they flew off together.

You just looked at the sky until they teleported out of sight. Controlled your breathing and the stress sweat stopped. Your ego in check. "Koneko. Can you meet me in my room? Teleport? I need to speak to you in private."

"Okay." A tear shed.

*Teleport*

She was five feet in front of you. She looked scared, hurt, sorry, and lonely. Ready to explode like a volcano or erupt like blowing up a dam. "Koneko I need to tell you something. Show you too."

"Okay." She clinched her fists. This was bad. Waiting for you to reject to her hard. Hard as a mountain rock.

"I'm sorry I hide this from you the entire time." You put a hand through your hair. "Look."

"You're... A wolf."

"Yeah. More of a curse than a gift."

"But I... want to come clean too. I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" She couldn't hold it anymore. Her ears have shown through her hair. She sat down on the floor just crying her eyes out. "I'm a Nekomata. Okay? I'm sorry. I was so stupid to think it would work."

"Koneko..." Your heart sank.

"I know your safety comes first. I want you happy and alive. I don't want you getting hurt again. I could never forgive myself." She wailed and wailed. It was a fountain by now. Her clothes were catching tears.

(Can't lie. I just started to cry.)

"But I can't do that." You hug around her.

She tried to push you off. "Please. You're only making it worse. Don't make me feel better. I get it." She struggled but you held your ground.

"Here." You urge forward. Struggling but plant a kiss. "Listen!"

"What... what did you just do?" She wiped her face. Shocked.

"I love you."

"(FN)... why..."

"Because. I want you to accept me at your side. I want to do more dates. Told you I want to beat my brother and make sure you don't have to be I  danger. Sure I'm well aware you can fight. Just remember I want to do everything in my power to protect you. As any male would. My kind in particular. Whether you and I make it work or not I will be here."

She was shaking a little. So much has transpired in a five minute period. Koneko leaped over and tackled you. "I'm not going anywhere. I need you."

"I... need you too." You kiss her. It held as this sparkle of energy exploded around you. Not like a hug. It was like this aura shot off like a stick of dynamite. I love you. I'm never letting go. I fear for us but it's just how it goes.

Literally me right now. I got to take a few minutes to cool off before I leave. Yeah writers cry a bit too. Crucify.

It seemed like all that doubt was for nothing. Koneko's interested into you and you finally told her the truth. She is completely on board. Now this opens the door to each other more and more. What's off the table? Because you two have a lot of opening up to do.
