Chapter Eight

"Then give me your room because I need to have my own space too and it just can't be cluttered by a bunch of gold." I tell him as I tuck a piece of hair behind my ear. I rub my eyes and glance out the small window in the room that had a pretty nice sized closet along with a pretty nice size of a room. Well if there weren't a bunch of gold scattered all around the room with a gold cat with wings sitting on top of it all.

"But that's my room." The dragon shifter complains looking around the room at his treasure.

"Then put all of the gold in your room." I demand and glare at him with my arms crossed. This is getting really annoying , "Seriously man work with me here."

"Fine..fine I'll move my things, by the way the cat is our other roommate," Thane says.

"I thought you just said it was your familiar."

"He is that as well, but he can turn into his human form as well." Thane smiles then looks at the gold cat with kind eyes, "Come on Ryu."

I watch as the cat jumps up then shifts into a small boy with white hair and white eyes, his skin looks as if it had melted gold onto it. Ryu, the winged cat slash shifter human familiar thing looks at me then smiles.

"Hi there." He says, his voice was very high pitched, it almost sounded like it was from a female instead of a male. Which was weird in my opinion.

"Hi... Are you going to leave, or help Thane get all the gold out of my room." I ask him, he gives me a shrug then snaps his fingers together and all the gold did this weird thing where it melted then flew onto his skin. It was quite strange. Actually all of this was strange, man I just want to go to sleep and forget that this is actually happening right now.

"Okay now we'll leave you to unpack." Thane says while Ryu follows him out of my room. I follow behind, but instead of leaving the room I shut the door and lock it. I rub my eyes and sigh.

Gods another new place, I really hope I actually stay in this place. That would be nice, I walk to the oddly already made double bed that was originally covered with gold when I walked in. I suppose it was strange that it appeared when the gold left, but I have recently forgotten the fact of normal human logic. Although maybe the bed was there before I came in here and it was just under that pile of gold.

I rub at my temples, this is too much to think about right now. Why does it even matter? I guess it doesn't because now I'm just rambling on about things that don't matter... Or do they? I do not know.

Owe... I need to stop thinking so much.

I glance around the room then fall back on the bed, that is nice and comfortable. I close my eyes and that is the last of that because I drift off into a dreamless sleep.

The next time I waked, the sun shines brightly in my eyes. I groan and roll away from the light about to try to go back to sleep until someone opens my door slamming it against the wall.

"Alright it's time for school!" I hear Castiel yell in the room, I roll to the side and look up at him in annoyance.

"Is it really?" I ask, and lick my dry lips.

"Yes it is so you had better get up." Castiel tells me.

"Do you wake everyone up like this?" I ask as I move to a sitting position, I rub my eyes and let out a long yawn.

"Yes! Well not always, but a lot of the time I will for newer students. Now come along it's a new day." He sang the last part, I roll my eyes and get out of bed.

I walk over to my suit case and open it up to look for clothes to put on. I'll shower tonight, there is no point in showering now.
