Chara

She stood up, staring me in the eye. The hall got colder, wind swirling around us. The sunlight disappeared, leaving her bright blue eyes to stare at me. It was as if she was trying to express intimidation to me. How cute.
Out of nowhere, snow started to appear, packing together by the wind into wings. She stood defensive; I had the first move. I attacked, only to be blocked and swept to the side by a wing. The temperature around her dropped immensely, making the knife cold by the handle.
Cristle swept out a hand, causing a trail of frozen snow to follow. I jumped out of the way, barely touching it. I lost 5 HP. It's a good thing I still had a full healing item, she didn't give me any time to save or reheal. I fully healed as she created ice walls. This thing had some powerful magic, I only had a second before they came in to crush my soul.
My turn was then to check her, see how powerful she actually was.
Cristle- DEF 15 ATK 1̶ ̶2̶ ̶3̶ ̶4̶ ̶5̶ ̶6̶ ̶7̶ ̶8̶ ̶9̶ ̶1̶0̶ ̶
What the-what the heck? Her stats...they were changing. The numbers continued going up, until it finally landed at 125.
The final challenger.
There was a maniacal laughter in my head, slipping to the surface. I wanted this ending, I chose this ending. There was nothing that was going to stop me. I laughed aloud, smiling proudly. She has such a big number, let's see what the so-called 'angel' has to offer.
Taking a deep breath, the girl turned the tile floor into slick ice, sending ferocious spikes at me on random. They were 8 HP each, something to keep note of. I attacked again, unimpressed when she simply dodged me. No fun if they can't take a hit.
Cristle's wings flapped twice, shooting her into the air. Oddly enough, the ice on the floor still stayed. The wind started to pick up in random directions, sending me into the remnants of her previous attacks. Her eyes glanced somewhere before they lit up, causing several pillars to shoot up from the ground. They followed me, as if trying to capture me.
My arm ran into one of the spots, when the pillar grabbed on tight to it. I tried getting out, to no avail. I threw a piece of ice in Cristle's direction to attack, but she dodged quickly. I wonder...
The pillar shot me and my arm high above the hall, almost to her line of sight. "What did you possibly gain from this?", she spat the question angrily. Getting so close to her, I managed to hit 1 HP on her. I was right; she doesn't have a high health. I simply chuckled as I used my knife to break free. It was damaged, but I was free.
Her wings suddenly stopped flapping, sending her fast to the ground. A wave that completely surrounded the bullet board appeared upon impact. It turned from snow to ice stalagmites in an instant. I got impaled by the latter. I felt my soul break as I died, yet the furious determination that I wasn't going to give up. More importantly, that I wasn't going to fight Sans again.
Whenever I reappeared in the clean hall, her look of awe was what stood out the most. Then, taking a deep breath, Cristle put the evidence together in a glare of disgust towards me. Frost and cold fog cut off the sunlight; I could only see her eyes as she made her attack. It was different than before, I nearly lost half my health from that attack alone. I tried fighting again, yet being blocked off like before. "How...did you do that? You were dead! I saw you!", she yelled.
I wanted Cristle to stop talking. Perfect timing, and yet she blocked me again. The atmosphere around the girl was getting colder again, I couldn't stay too long near her.
She took another deep breath, springing up spikes from both the floor and ceiling. They moved towards me in a fast pace, before turning around in reverse. I attacked again, knowing it was no use. She either dodged or blocked my attacks, countering within a seconds notice. Several of her attacks left me with either half or no health to bounce back on.
And so, I died. Again and again to her fast-acting changing attacks. But, everytime I came back, her facial expression changed. She was getting frustrated, impatient, angry. The more I came back, the more she wanted me dead.
I got extremely close in some parts, dieing on the first move on others. Her words never seemed to change; it seemed to be the only thing.
"What do you want from us?"
"Was it worth it?"
"Seeing us die by your own hands?"
"...What made you like this?"
"Did monsters do something? Or was it humanity?"
"It's funny. I had some sort of dream the other night, that had a human coming through and making friends with everyone and setting us free. And I thought for a second, 'Hey! Maybe that's you!'"
"Clearly I was wrong."
But...it wasn't until the hundredth or so time things started to change. She had tears in her eyes, seeing me reappear again. As we fought, all she did was scream.
"WHY WON'T YOU JUST DIE?!"
"WHY WON'T YOU JUST SUFFER AND DIE LIKE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO?!"
"I'M NOT LETTING YOU GET AWAY WITH MURDERING!"
"SO...JUST...DIE!!!!!"
The attacks came faster than before. She suddenly put a stopwatch on my turn, barely giving me any time to act, or heal, or think. But...it wasn't long after that, the magic started slowing down. The little girl who had put up such a fight crumbled, falling to her knees. "Just....die....", she mumbled into her sobs.
I walked up to her, looking down at the little girl. I picked up the knife knocked out of my hands from the fight and scowled at the freak. She looked at me with her cold, bright blue eyes that looked too much like her father's and confidently told me, "There's no getting you to do the good thing anymore. You've gotten way past redemption. But," She stood up again, making eye contact with me. "I still have an ounce of hope for you. At least end this off for both of us."
