"heya. is anyone there?", I waited more out of courtesy than anything else. "i'll just leave a message. 

it's been a while, huh?", I asked while walking through Waterfall. I heard from someone that Gerson may have some medicine that may help. I would've taken Cristle with me, so I could get some better advice, but I don't want her being out in the cold like that. But hey, at least it isn't as quiet as it used to be. Thank Asgore.  

"it seems a number of important people disappeared overnight. but no one else was harmed. the people were confused. it was complete bedlam.", I recalled, waving to a couple of monsters as I passed them. Yeah, confusing was the word to put. Especially when I thought that the human had gone and done the last ending twice. For some reason. 

"somehow, at the end of the day... a small, white dog became president of the underground." Not unlike the one who used to spend a lot of time with Papyrus, I thought. Maybe they knew each other, I thought with a shrug. 

"it sleeps on the throne and does absolutely nothing.", I thought aloud. I remember cautiously introducing my daughter to it. She played a game of fetch with the Pomeranian and now they're pen pals. Somehow. Oh well, at least she has someone to play with now. I know that was troubling her for a while.

"strangely, it seems this is the best life for everyone.", I thought aloud offhand, watching the monsters interact with each other. Despite a few deaths, things were pretty much the same as they were before. People were out, talking, working. Just like before. If only it was that easy for the Skeleton family.

"thanks.", I said in a questionable tone, not really sure what else to say to my brother's killer that I haven't said in a different timeline.

After finishing the message, I hung up the phone and kept walking, trying to avoid the echo flowers. I had heard the conversation about wishes a thousand times before, I didn't need the reminder of my nihilism. 

And I sure didn't need it to spread.
