-Out Of Sight-

The dried up tears from yesterday,
The screams pent up from midday,
They all come out,
Still you stayed out, of sight.

The sweet melody from last May,
Recitals of dismayed,
And they all came out,
But you stayed out, tonight.

And, I feel them crawl,
Upon echoes of sobs,
All pile so tall,
Foreign sprawl of velvet tears,
And I forget who I was.

The windchimes from yesterday,
Found all in a sun lit chest from today,
They seem so small,
And you still seem to fall,
Upon the echoes of sobs,
I fell them crawl,
Pile up all so tall,
Pieces of where I belonged,
I forget who I was.

Was I a child from your side lane?
Was I mildly insane?
Was I a cloud' s silver lining?
A tide of humming planes?
Was I a child so simple, plain?
No constraints, unrefrained.

Saw little in a sun lit chest,
They all came out, awoke unrest,
A picture or two still hang by my desk,

They all seem so small, in today's mess,
And the dried up tears from your last caress,
Yesterday's screams pent up midday,
Among laughters of dismay,
Daughters of replay,

I forget who I was,
And they crawl,
Upon echoes of sobs,
All pile along so tall,
I forget who I was.

They all come out,
They won't shout,
Still you stayed out, tonight.
Out of sight, tonight.
