Author's Pov:

Soomin looked at the reflection in the mirror. "You can do this", she whispered. The door burst opened, "Eomma", Eunsoo shouted coming in. She giggled, her hands fumbling with something hidden behind her back. "Eomma, guess what?". Soomin looked at her, "What happened? Did you fall down?".

Eunsoo giggled, "No silly, But I want to give you something". Soomin frowned, "What you want to give?".

"First close your eyes, and give me your hand", Eunsoo said. Soomin knelt, "Fine". She closed her eyes. She felt Eunsoo's tiny finger slipping something into her palm.

"Now open your eyes", She giggled. Soomin did. It was a candy. "A candy, why?", Soomin frowned. Eunsoo smiled, "It's for good luck".

"Eomma, I forgot to tell you something", Eunsoo said. Soomin nodded her to continue.

"When we went to bring ice cream, I met uncle. His name was Junhui too. He asked for my name and I said Soomin", Eunsoo giggled. Soomin frowned, "Why did say something like that?".

"You always said right not to share too much information with strangers, so I told him a lie", Eunsoo replied. Soomin shook her head.

"Eat the candy. If I find it later, I'm gonna steal it. Don't worry, I won't be a thief when I grow up", Eunsoo said.

Soomin gave her a tight hug, "Thank you". Eunsoo giggled, "When is Soojin aunty coming". Soomin shrugged, "She must be on her way".

"I'm already here", Soojin stumbled in. "Soojin, what's wrong with your face?", Soomin asked. "M-My face? Nothing", Soojin answered.

"Why is your cheek swollen?", Soomin asked. "Oh, my cheeks swollen? Ah, I bumped into the door frame while coming, this must be because of that", Soojin said.

"But why?", Soomin chuckled. Soojin smiled sheepishly, "I thought I was late again. So I just hurried up".

Eunsoo laughed, "Soojin aunty, how can you not feel pain?". She pouted, "It happens Eunsoo". Soomin smiled, "Okay, whatever it is. Take care".

"Yes, I'll take care of Eunsoo don't worry, sis", Soojin said. "Uh, I was actually telling Eunsoo to take care of you", Soomin teased her.

Soojin whined, "Don't tease me". Soomin smiled, "Sorry for that but please don't give her ice creams, chocolates or whatever it is without asking me. You are spoiling her".

Soojin nodded, "I'll try not to". Soomin smiled giving Eunsoo a peck on cheek. "Bye, Eomma", Eunsoo said. Soomin waved her hand.

Soomin took a deep breathe looking at the building. "You can do this", she murmured going in. The first person she saw was, Ms. Cha, a pledis staff and other one was Minhee, the one who will be working along with Soomin.

"Soomin, right?", Ms. Cha asked. She nodded, "I hope I'm not late". Ms. Cha shook her head, "No dear, you are on time".

"So, let's go, follow me. I'll introduce you to the members first", Ms. Cha said. Minhee held Soomin's hand, "I can't believe we are already here".

Soomin glanced at her, "Keep your fangirl image aside, Minhee. Be professional". Minhee nodded as they entered the lift.

"The boys must be in practice room", Ms. Cha said, "Those boys must he rehearsaling- Well they are not".

Soomin and Minhee gasped seeing the scene infront of them, "What are they doing?", Minhee whispered. Soomin shrugged, "They are really like this in real life".

Seungkwan glared at Soonyoung before giving him his iconic flying kick causing him to fall on Jeonghan. The coffee in Seokmin's hand fell as Vernon playfully slapped his back dying out of laughter. While some were busy playing badminton at back and others were enjoying their show.

"Everyone", Ms. Cha got their attention. All snapped their heads. Seungkwan's eyes widen seeing them, "Uhh, sorry you had to see that. I'm not aggressive until it comes to them".

Soomin and Minhee glanced at each other. "I had seen your flying kicks in videos but I never thought I would see it in real life", Minhee said. Seungkwan blushed, "Ahh".

"Okay, Meet Kim Soomin and Na Minhee", Ms. Cha introduced them, "They will the one helping us in the collaboration".

"Only two of them for our makeup?", Soonyoung asked. Soomin smiled, "We have our own team for that. We are here to make sure that your make and styles suit your concept".

"Such companies exist?", Seokmin asked wiping the floor. "Yes, it does exist", Minhee said. Seokmin hummed.

"Someone's missing", Ms. Cha said. "Oh yes, Wonwoo and Jun are missing. Ah, I mean they went to wash room", Chan answered. Ms. Cha nodded, "Well call them. I'll inform you all when the meeting is about to start".

Soomin and Minhee nodded. Seungkwan slowly walked towards them, his ears red, "Uhh, I promise I'm not aggressive". Soomin chuckled, "It's fine, Mr. Seungkwan".

He pouted, "No need formalities. You can call me Seungkwan". Soomin smiled, "Okay, Seungkwan". He grinned, "You don't need to be formal with them too, right?". They nodded.

"Here, coffee", Jeonghan said giving them cups. Soomin smiled, "Thank you".

There was an awkward silence which was interrupt by Soomin's ringtone. "Uh, it's Soojin", Soomin said getting up. Minhee nodded.

Excusing herself, she stepped out of the practice room. Her phone pressed to her ear, "Hello". Mindlessly walking, she collided with someone- their eyes meeting momentarily. Soomin's eyes widen, "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you". She immediately recognized him, 'Moon Junhui'.

While he stared at her, trying to figure out where he had seen her before, 'The lady from the convenience store'. Behind him was Wonwoo who went inside leaving them alone.

"Soomin, are you listening? Eunsoo wants to eat ice cream, should I bring one? Please don't say no. She is hungry, how can you keep a poor child hungry like this? She didn't eat for whole 3 days. Why do you starve her so much? She got so thin", Soojin said.

Junhui looked at Soomin taking the words wrong. "You love starving someone?", he whispered in disbelief. Soomin shook her head, "Wait a minute", she said tunring around, "Soojin, you are not giving her ice cream and that's it".

Soojin groaned, "But you are starving her". Soomin rolled her eyes, "That's not starving, Soojin". Junhui looked at her frowning, he had no idea who Soojin or Eunsoo were, to begin with he was still confused about what this woman is doing in the company. But he was more curious about the conversation between them.

Soomin noticed his gaze, "Soojin, you are not buying her ice cream, also please stop calling it starving, people are making assumptions here".

"But-"

"I said no, Soojin. Stop spoiling her", Soomin said hanging up. She turned to Junhui. "Listening to someone's talk is a bad habit, Mr. Moon Junhui", Soomin said. He looked at her, "How do you know my name".

Soomin chuckled, "Of course I know your name, you are a member of seventeen not a common person". Junhui cleared his throat, "Uh, I'm curious about what are you doing here?".

Soomin smiled, "I'm Kim Soomim, I'll be working with you all for a collaboration". Junhui nodded, "So your name is Soomin?". She nodded.

He grinned, "I know someone, her name is Soomin too. Even though I met her once, she was cute". Soomin frowned, "Okay".

"And she is small girl, okay", he clarified avoiding the rumors. Soomin hummed, "Okay". She had no idea on what to reply. Just then someone came as her saviour.

"Oh, you two are always here. The meeting will start soon. Call others too", Ms. Cha said. Soomin smiled, "Yes".

Soomin went inside and Junhui followed her. "The meeting is starting soon. Ms. Cha called us", Junhui said.

The 13 of them walked towards the meeting room as Soomin and Minhee followed them from behind. "Did you meet Junhui?", Minhee whispered. Soomin nodded.

"Here is the meeting room", Seungkwan gestured them to go in first. Soomin and Minhee smiled. Ms. Cha introduced them to others.

The meeting started, Minhee and Soomin sat beside each other as they talked about the concept of upcoming album. As it was their job, Soomin and Minhee suggested some ideas which were suitable for concepts.

Junhui glanced at Soomin. He couldn't shake off the feeling when his eyes met her, for second time. She gave a small smile before giving her full attention in the meeting.
