Author's Pov:

Junhui glanced back at Soomin and Eunsoo whose eyes were half closed. "Drive safe", Soomin said. Junhui nodded, "Thank you once again". Soomin gave a small smile, "The amount of 'thank you's you've said is making me think I actually did a really big thing".

"It's still a big thing", Junhui said, before he could say anything, he looked at Eunsoo, "Well, I'll leave". Soomin nodded.

Before leaving he once again glanced at Soomin who was guiding a sleepy Eunsoo. He waved his hand when Soomin looked back.

Junhui drove back to dorms just to get bombarded with questions. "How did it go?", Seungkwan asked. Junhui gave him a thumbs up. "Tell us something more", Chan whined.

"Well, Soomin's daughter came with us too", Junhui said. Seungkwan's eyes widen, "Really? She must be cute right?". Junhui nodded, "It was fun".

As Junhui went to his room, Seungkwan murmured, "He looked happy after a long time", earning a nod from Chan and Seokmin.

The next day, Junhui and Soomin met again for work, another meeting.

"Ah, I hate meetings", Minhee said coming out of the meeting room. "Me too", Seungkwan said letting out a yawn.

"I need some coffee", Seungkwan said. Minhee nodded, "Me too". Soomin looked at her, "We need to leave". Minhee pouted, "I don't want to". Soomin  smiled, "We have to, the old man is waiting for me, eagerly. I need you by my side".

Minhee groaned, "He already came back from his business trip?". Soomin hummed. Seungkwam looked at them with a frown, "What's wrong?".

"Ah, nothing. Our boss was on vacation when that dating rumor came, so now he is back to eat our head", Minhee answered. Seungkwan made a 'o' face, "Boss are annoying creatures sometimes", he whispered.

"I agree", Minhee gave him a high five. Seungkwan looked at Soomin, "Don't you find him annoying?". Minhee snorted, "Annoying? She plans a murder everytime he eats her head".

"Woah", his voice trailed off, "I need to be careful then". Minhee giggled, "You don't need it, this offer is only limited to boss". Soomin nodded as Seungkwan sighed in relief.

"What are you doing?", Junhui asked coming behind them. "Nothing", Seungkwan said, "Just talking about her boss. But what are you doing here?".

"Uhh, I think Eunsoo left her bracelet in the car. I found this today morning, is it hers?", Junhui asked giving the bracelet. Soomin smiled, "Thank you so much". He smiled back.

"Let's go now", Minhee nudged Soomim. As they were about to leave, Junhui stopped her again, "Thanks once again. I promise I won't trouble you now". Soomin nodded before Minhee pulled her.

"What was all that about?", Minhee asked as she started driving. Soomin looked at her, "The dinner thing. I'm still feeling guilty about it. His mother said she will talk to his father but still".

Minhee chuckled, "I don't know what to say so let me just be quiet".

As they entered their office, their boss asked for them with his stern face. "I didn't send you there to make some rumor", was the first thing he said as soon as Soomin and Minhee entered his cabin. Soomin glanced at Minhee, ready to hear a  lecture.

After it was over, Soomin was about to open the door when she turned to her boss and asked, "Sir, your childhood dream was to become a lecturer in school right?". Mr. Park looked at her and nodded, "How did you know?".

Soomin shrugged, "Just guessed it". As they went out, Minhee nudged her, "What was that?".

"I feel like I'm still a school student whenever I go to his cabin", Soomin murmured. Minhee chuckled, "Let's go back to work, otherwise he might give us detention". Soomin sat on her desk and continued her work.

Time Skip: 

Soomin waved at Minhee one last time before walking into her apartment. She heard Eunsoo's loud voice coming outside.

"Who is she talking with so loudly?", Soomin murmured.

"And you know Grandpa was so fun. He asked me meet him whenever I want to. He even have me chocolates", Eunsoo giggled.

Soomin looked at Eunsoo who was trying to solve the rubiks cube. "But grandma, when will I meet my grandpa?", Eunsoo pouted.

Soomin's eyes widen realising the person Eunsoo was talking to, she looked at the person sitting across Eunsoo to see Mrs. Lim, her mother in law.

"Eomma", Soomin smiled. Mrs. Lim stood up giving her a tight hug, "I missed you so much". Eunsoo looked at them, "Good night ladies. I'll go and sleep. Have your time". Soomin chuckled.

"How is my baby?", Mrs. Lim asked.  Soomin playfully glared at her causing Mrs. Lim to chuckle. "I'm good Eomma", Soomin said.

Mrs. Lim caressed her head, "Freshen up, we have a lot to talk". Soomin grinned, "I'll be right back". Mrs. Lim smiled.

As Soomin came back, Mrs. Lim had already made two cups of coffee, Mrs. Lim said, "You know we had a small family get together few weeks back, we all missed you".

Soomin sighed, "I miss everyone too. How are they? I've lost contact with almost now everyone. I do sometimes talk to Jisoo, Haewon, Doyoon and Minhyuk. Also, I miss caramel so much".

Mrs. Lim chuckled, "Everyone's fine. Caramel has grown up too". Soomin gave a sad smiled, "I miss them, I miss you all, I miss those gatherings".

Soomin looked at her cup, Caramel was their family dog, while Jisoo, Haewon, Doyoon and Minhyuk were her cousin in laws. Once in the week they'd meet up which later stopped after Jinhyuk's death.

Mrs. Lim held her hand, "Why don't you come and talk?". Soomin sighed, "I plan that every time but I've no guts to do. I'm scared what if something happens like last time?".

"But you need to make a move cause my husband won't do anything", Mrs. Lim rolled her eyes. While talking Soomin's phone rang, she frowned seeing the caller name, "Junhui?". She picked up the call before he could say anything, Junhui spoke

"Eomma, have you seen my lucky socks? I can't find it here", Junhui whined across the phone. Soomin chuckled, "Junhui, I'm Soomin. Wrong number".

Junhui looked at his screen, "Oh, I-I thought I called my Eomma. Sorry Soomin".

"It's fine", Soomin said, "Hope you find your lucky socks soon". Junhui smiled, "Can you magically summon them from wherever they've decided to hide?", Junhui replied, his tone sheepish.

"Maybe your mom hid them to test your luck", Soomin teased him.

"Don't even joke about that", Junhui gasped causing Soomin to burst out in laughter.

"Okay, I won't", Soomin laughed, "How about me helping you find your teddy bear with one eyes missing?". Junhui gasped, "How did you know about it?".

"Wait- you have one? I just guessed it", Soomin said. Junhui sighed, "Yeah I had one, I lost it somewhere".

"Oh. Anyways, good luck with your sock hunt", Soomin said. Junhui hummed, "Sorry again for mix up".

"No problem, have a good night, Junhui",  Soomin said. "You too", he replied before ending the call.

Mrs. Lim looked at Soomin, raising an eyebrow, "Junhui? I've heard Eunsoo talking about him too. She told me about dimner too". Soomin sighed, "Ah, you know about that rumor right. It's a long story".

Mrs. Lim's eyes sparkled, "I'm ready to listen". Soomin smiled and told Mrs. Lim everything. "So what's next?", Mrs. Lim asked. Soomin frowned, "Nothing. It's over now".

Mrs. Lim pouted, "Aww". Soomin chuckled, "Now drink the coffee, it's cold already".

Mrs. Lim smiled, "Ah, it feels so nice here. I don't want to go back home now".

"You need to otherwise Appa might turn the house upside down", Soomin said. Mrs. Lim playfully said, "If you don't want me in the house then tell me I'll leave. Don't need to bring my husband in this".

"Eomma, I never said that", Soomin whined. Mrs. Lim laughed, "I was just teasing you. But yeah, if I don't go back, he will turn the house upside down".
