It's the Saturday evening, Lia is getting ready to go and meet her father's best friend's family "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐦 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲" with her family. Her father told her about them a lot but they never met.

Her father also said that his best friend has a son and he is just 2 years older then her. She is 18 and he is 20.

I'm really excited to meet them. Specialy their son 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐣𝐨𝐨𝐧. I wonder what type of person he is. I hope he is friendly. She thinks while checking her outfit in the mirror for the last time.

She comes downstairs and sees her dad is waiting...

"Dad, I'm ready." She says with a smile on her face.

Her dad smiles and says "Is that my princess? I can't believe my eyes, it seems like an angel came in our house."

Lia chuckles "Dad, you are over reacting. You always do that. By the way where is mom?" says and looks around to find her mom.

"Oh, she is probably getting ready. I don't know *he looks at the watch on his hand* oh we are getting late. Lia, can you go and check if your mom is ready or not?"

"Oh sure." Then she goes upstairs in her parents' room.

She opens the door a little and peeks through it "Mom, are you ready?"

"Yeah, almost." Her mom says while adjusting her hair a little.

"Mom, you do know that dad is waiting and he said that we are getting late." she says and leans at the door frame while crossing her arms.

"Aish, this man. Ok, go and tell him that I'm ready."

"Ok." she says and closes the door.

She goes downstairs and tells her dad that her mom is ready.

"She is lying. Isn't she?" He says.

Lia has no answer so she just directly yells "MOM, DAD ALREADY UNDERSTOOD THAT YOU ARE NOT READY." And at this her dad starts laughing.

Then her mom comes downstairs "Aish, this people. Ok, let's go now. I'm ready."

"Let's go." says her dad still trying to stop his laugh and the same with Lia.

They drive to Kim's house and when they come out of the car they see a man who is waiting for them while smiling.

Who is he? Thinks Lia.

Her dad and that man hugs eachother...

Oh, so this is Mr.Kim. She thinks.

"How is it going, man?" says Mr.Kim

"Yeah, good. What about you?"

"Yeah, I'm good." then Mr.Kim looks at Lia.

"So, is this the princess you talk about, Haneul?"

Her dad chuckles "Yeah, she is my daughter."

Lia bows at Mr.Kim "Hello, I'm Lia." she smiles.

Mr.Kim gives a warm smile to her "You know what? I wish I had a daughter like you." he says and looks at her admiringly.

"Ah so, are you going make us stand here or let us enter?" says Lia's dad while raising an eyebrow.

Actually Mr.Kim always wanted a daughter but he never had one. Sometimes this makes Mr.Kim really sad, yeah he is happy that he has a son but still the lacking of not having a daughter makes him sad.

Lia's dad knows that and he doesn't want his best friend to get sad for this again so he says it keep Mr.Kim's mood happy.

As soon as they enter Mrs.Kim comes and hugs Lia's mom and Lia...

"How are you all?" she asks and they says that they are good.

"I can't believe I'm seeing an angel in real life. Such a beautiful daughter you have." Mrs.Kim says while caressing Lia's face.

Honestly Lia is really shy right now. But she still smile "Thank you, aunty."

"Oh, the foods are getting cold. Let's eat first then we will talk."

Then they go to the table...

This is Mr.Kim and this is Mrs.Kim but where is their son Namjoon? Isn't he at home? Maybe not, but I really want to meet him. Thinks Lia.

"Bora, where is Namjoon?" asks Mr.Kim.

"Oh, he must be in his room. I'm calling him."

Then Mrs.Kim goes upstairs...

𝙄𝙣 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙟𝙤𝙤𝙣'𝙨 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢...

"Babe, what are you doing?" Namjoon asks Yumi who is now in call with him.

"Oh, I'm just relaxing. What are you doing?"

"Me too. Just laying on the bad and talking to you." He says while smiling.

"Did you have dinner?" asks Yumi.

"No, actually today my dad's best friend Mr.Choi and his family is coming so we are waiting for them."

"Oh, okay." she says.

Suddenly Namjoon's room's door opens revealing his mom, seeing his mom he puts away his phone from his ear.

"Namjoon, come downstair. Mr.Choi and his family is already here. We will have dinner now." says his mom.

"Okay mom, you go I'm coming." then his mom leaves from there.

He takes the phone in his ear again and says to Yumi...

"Yumi, mom is calling me to have dinner. I have to go now. Okay?"

"Oh, okay. Enjoy your meal. Bye." Says Yumi.

"Bye, I love you." He says with a deep voice.

And now he could feel that she is blushing so he chuckles...

"I love you too." She says.

"Okay, bye then. I'll talk to you later."  He says 'bye' for the last time and then they cut the call.

After cutting the call he goes downstairs and in the dining room he sees everyone.

He bows respectfully to Mr.Choi and Mrs.Choi "Hello, I'm Namjoon. Nice to meet you." He says and smiles and that made his dimples visible.

Mr.Choi already knows Namjoon and how intelligent Namjoon is.

They start having dinner, Lia and Namjoon both are sitting across eachother.

When Mr.Choi is praising Namjoon about his results in university the only thing Lia is doing is taking glances at Namjoon.

He is so handsome. He looks like an actor or a fictional character. Lia thinks while looking at Namjoon.

Then again Mr.Choi says something good about Namjoon and to thank Mr.Choi, Namjoon smiles.

He has a dimple smile. He looks really cute. She thinks.

After a while they all finish their dinner and then Mrs.Kim says...

"Lia and Namjoon, if you want you both can go to the garden to chat."

So Namjoon comes to her and gives her a friendly smile "Let's talk in the garden."

At the thought of being alone with him in the garden makes her feel something she never felt. She becomes a little nervous even she doesn't know why but she still goes with him.

They goes and stands beside the flowers. The air is a little cold and it's giving little goosebumps in Lia's skin. But she stands still without saying anything. There is a silence until Namjoon starts the conversation...

"Umm hi, I'm Namjoon. You are Lia right?"

She turns to him and sees him smiling at her and that made her heart skip a beat.

His face is glowing at the light of the moon.

Seeing her spacing out he snaps his fingers in front of her face bringing her back.

She smiles and says "Y-yeah, I'm Lia."

"So how old are you?"

"I'm 18 and you are 20, right?" She says confidently even though she feels a little intimidated by him being right beside her.

He gets surprised and says "Yeah! How do you know this?"

"Oh, dad talked to me a lot about you a lot. How smart you are, how respectful you are and many things."

"That means he praises me even when he is at home. Not just when he comes at our house." he says being a little surprised.

She chuckles and says "My dad always praises you a lot."

"Ohh." he says and smiles.

"So what about your studies?" He asks.

And there they starts a study conversation which leads them to talk about their some school life moments.

Lia started feeling more comfortable with Namjoon that she doesn't even know when she blurts out "can we be friend?"

After saying that she understood what she just said so she gets nervous and her nerves calms down when Namjoon says "sure." he smiles and forwards his hand for a handshake.

𝙄𝙣 𝙔𝙪𝙢𝙞'𝙨 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢...

"Ah!" Yumi winces at the 'cause of her back pain when she lays down.

She feels like she is gonna faint soon because of all the pains in her body. She did chores the whole day and she didn't have her dinner, well how can she?
When her family didn't left a bit of food for her. When she asked her mom about food, her mom beated her with a stick for half an hour. Her back is now full of bruises but she doesn't have the energy of treating them. So she just closes her eyes slowly.

Tears starts falling, she remembers how her family treats her, how she is bearing all the pain.

" 𝒀𝒖𝒎𝒊, 𝑰 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒕." She remembers Namjoon's words. Her happiness, her love.

When she didn't know what love was, Namjoon was the one who made her understand it.

He loves her and she loves him. They promised they will never leave eachother no matter what.

Maybe Namjoon's father is a rich pilot and Yumi's father owns a small cafè but that never effects their relationship.

Hello everyone, so here is the first chapter. I can't believe I actually wrote it even though I have a class test. I don't know what my result will be in that test 'cause you know I'm a little unconfident today but let's just hope it goes well.
