Dabi's POV:

Me: That scared me for a moment.

It was middle of the night when my dear husband of a chicken woke me up telling me that Izuku was awake. After that we both hurried over to the agency and found him on the ground.Not only that but ravens were all over the place. They were there since we moved in the agency but now there were a lot more around the building and trees. It was as if they were only waiting for him to wake up.

Hawks: Me too.

Me: At least he is awake now.

Hawks: But he still needs to recover.

Me: I can't believe this worked out.

Hawks: Me neither.

Two months had passed since we took him out of the hospital. In this time span our healers did their best every day to make sure he would recover and we both were happy when it worked out. They even told us that his quirk seemed to have evolved since it was healing faster now on its own. 

On the other hand, both our healers pushed their quirks to the limit and we gave them vacation in between to rest up again. Naturally we also paid them quite a sum of money as a compensation too.

Just as we left the building and went home, Hawks stopped right in the middle of where we were going and we were walking hands in hands too.

Me: What's up chicken?

Hawks: We need to go back!

Me: Why? Is something wrong with Izuku?

Hawks: He's not alone!

Me: So a raven came in... Huh...

Hawks: No... There is someone there.

Me: WHAT?

No one should have access to this area of the agency ever since Hawks locked it down so that only we would be able to ger in and it was off-limit towards the rest of the people working there. Not only that but our healers were also not in the building since they had their vacation or more like rest from their quirk drawback. As if that wasn't enough it was also a National Holiday which means that literally no one should be there.

Once he said that someone was there I let go of him since he was a lot faster than I was.

Me: Go ahead!

I didn't need to say more as Hawks went flying away and I started dashing towards the building.

Who the heck is so dumb as to break into our building?

It can't be that they are after Izuku!

As I was thinking that Ravens came flying towards me as if to tell me that he is in danger.

Whatever!

I need to get there!

FAST!

Needless to say, that I was worried over our adoptive child. He might not be young but he suffered a lot thanks to us and the guilt and worry was eating me away.

Not long after I got to the building I heard some glass shattering and looked up to see Hawks and some kind of bird like creatue with exposed brain and bat wings up in the air. Not only that but ravens came flying into the room through the broken window. 

It was at that moment that I starts to worry even more about Izuku. Not only that but it made sense now. We knew we were tricked to believe that he killed our son and the way the ravens reacted on that wedding and now only made it more clear. Someone he knew was after him and they knew he was in danger. 

Putting one and one together I knew that the person responsible for all this must be in the same room with him now.

Me: IZUKU!

I dashed inside the building and went straight towards the infermarry only to find Izuku standing there with complete black wings. His feathers were back, long and fluffy but fully healed and there. This must be what the healer meant with his quirk evolved or changed. Looked like all the things and pain happened to him made his quirk have some more healing ability then it already had.

Not only was he standing there but he was also comanding ravens around him. There was a guy with hands all over his body and another person. He completly took care of them. That was until someone teleported behind him.

Me: IZUKU BEHIND YOU!

As if he already knew he flapped his wings and I could see how he got up just enough for the person to miss grabbing him. I also shot a fireball towards the person in believe that Izuku would dodge it for sure. However as I watched him flapp his wings, I saw that blood was dripping of his wing and he was getting back down. He looked tired and out of breath as well as in pain.

Thankfully that was enough time for me to get in front of him and use my flames against the villains. One escaped as the other one a girl was dumb enough to get close to us trying to stab us. She really must have been dumb as I just heated the blade up with the fires around us and made her drop it before comprehending her. By now I knew that the ravens were with Izuku and guarding him well.

Once I was done and made sure she couldn't escape nor attack us I looked back at Izuku. He was shaking like a fragile leave and I immediately ran towards her and hugger him carefully as not to touch his wings that just healed.

Me: You don't have to worry about anything. Your save! You're with me.

He collapsed immediately after I touched and hugged him. I made sure that he wouldn't fall down but instead put him down as he was still standing and nearly fell to the ground. Now he was sitting on the ground and I was right next to him. I knew that Hawks was a capable and powerful. My job was to calm him down and the ravens made sure that no one could get close to the villain

Me: Izuku?

He didn't respond and I could tell that he was in some kind of shock.  It must have been the result of his quirk suddenly healing his wings completly. So I decided to hold him tight for now in hope that he would stop shaking. He did respond to my hug and just put his hand on mine and buried himself deeper in the hug.

Me: It's okay Izu. We got you. Your safe! No one is gonna hurt you. Just calm down.

It took us a while and I could hear police sirens getting louder. This meant that Hawks informed them. In conclusion he managed to get that monster off the sky.

Me: Come on, let's get you out of here.

I took my own coat off and put it around him. After that I carefully picked him up while he was still crying and shaking. However, he didn't resist at all and just buried his face into my chest. He was clearly in shock and terrified. Whatever happened before we came, had him still in some kind of trance and shock. It might also be the pain he was currently feeling.

Me: Izu, I'll bring you home. Don't worry about a thing.

Since the chicken was dealing with the police and the villain, I decided to use the back entrance or more like escape route of the agency and went out with my son in my hands. It didn't take me long to get home and put him in his new room. By now he kinda fell asleep because of all the exhaustion.

Me: Rest Izu, you need it.

After putting him on his bed, I made sure that he would be comfy and before I exited the room, I made sure to leave a small window open for his ravens. It took Hawks quite a while to come back but when he did I already had some chicken nuggets on delivery for him prepared. There was no chance that the boy would wake up very soon.

Hawks: How is he?

Me: I found him trembling in shock and he has his wings back.

Hawks: WHAT?!

Me: Yes... but he is hurt... you should have a look at it later but for now let him rest he needs it. Now what happened?

Hawks: You know that villain I fought?

Me: The monster?

Hawks: No I mean the 3 people in the room.

Me: That handyman, psycho bitch and a teleportation dude?

Hawks: Yes!

Me: What's with them?

Hawks: That's the LOV! They are under direct order of AfO. Or that's what the rumours say.

Me: Shit... how did he get in such trouble?

Hawks: I don't know. After I got to the police station witht the girl the ravens guarded, I came right back. That creature also just dropped dead at some point in mid battle. It was really weird. The investigator told me that we would be allowed to come back again tomorrow to ask our questions.

Me: ... I want to know why they did that.

Hawks: I don't know but that wasn't the weirdest part.

Me: Huh?

Hawks: Did you hear about a pack of ravens attacking a wedding?

Me: Say what again...

Hawks: Well as I arrived at the police station they told me they were currently investigating about a weeding that was ruined thanks to hundrets of ravens.

Me: Don't tell me you think it was him...

Hawks: I think he or more like the ravens know something we don't.

Me: Makes sense.

Hawks: But one thing is sure. They want him dead.

Me: What do you mean dead?

Hawks: When I got in there our dear villains tried to A) Stab him and B) One tried to touch him with his bare hand. He had an disintegration quirk. I tried to attack him with my feathers and they ended up as dust.

Me: Say what again?

Hawks: Well as I was close to get them they put that thing on me!

Me: ... I am glad you are okay or I would have skinned them and made some crusty chicken out of each of them!

Hawks: HEY! I am your only chicken!

Me: Sorry my bad.

Hawks: ....

Me: ....

Hawks: Can we spent the night with Izu?

Me: I just wanted to say the same thing.

Just like that we both took a lot of blankets and pillows over to Izu's room and made ourselves comfortable on the ground watching over him fearing something might happen. However there were already some ravens inside laying and nealry covering the entire floor watching over him too.
