part 10~

Author pov:

I woke up with a mix of excitement and nerves. Today was the day of Jungkook's concert, and I wanted everything to be perfect.

I rolled over in bed, staring at the ceiling for a moment before my alarm went off. With a groan, I reached over and hit the snooze button, then snuggled back into my blankets.

"Just five more minutes," I mumbled to myself.

But my peace was short-lived. My mom burst into my room, looking more excited than I was.

"Ha-rin, wake up!" she said, shaking my shoulder. "Today’s the big day! You don’t want to be late."

"Okay, okay," I grumbled, slowly sitting up. "I’m up."

She gave me a knowing smile and left the room, letting me get ready. I took a deep breath and got out of bed, heading to the bathroom to freshen up.

As I brushed my teeth, I couldn’t help but think about Jungkook and the effort he was putting into this concert. I wanted to support him in every way I could.

After a quick shower, I went to my closet, trying to decide what to wear. I finally settled on a simple yet elegant dress that I knew Jungkook liked. I paired it with some comfortable shoes.

Just as I finished getting ready, I heard my phone buzz. It was a text from Jungkook.

"Good morning, beautiful. I hope you're excited for tonight. I can’t wait to see you there. :)"

I smiled at the message, feeling a flutter of excitement in my chest. I quickly replied, "Good morning! I’m really looking forward to it. See you soon!"

As I headed downstairs for breakfast, I found my mom already in the kitchen, humming happily to herself.

"You look lovely, Ha-rin," she said, placing a plate of pancakes in front of me. "Are you excited for the concert?"

"I am," I said, taking a seat. "A little nervous, too."

"That’s normal," she said with a reassuring smile. "But I know you’ll have a great time. Jungkook is a wonderful young man."

I nodded, feeling grateful for her support. After finishing breakfast, I decided to head to the campus early to help Jungkook with any last-minute preparations. As I was about to leave, my mom called out to me.

"Ha-rin, wait! You forgot your phone again," she said, holding it out to me.

I chuckled, taking it from her. "Thanks, Mom."

"Good luck today," she said, giving me a quick hug. "I’m sure it will be a memorable day."

With that, I headed out the door, my heart pounding with anticipation. Little did I know just how nice the day will be.

Upon arriving at the campus, I made my way to the auditorium where Jungkook and his friends were setting up. The place was bustling with activity, and the atmosphere was electric. Jungkook saw me and waved, his face lighting up with a smile.

"Ha-rin! Over here!" he called out.

I made my way over to him, feeling my nerves ease at the sight of his familiar face. "Hey, how’s everything going?"

"Pretty good," he said, pulling me into a quick hug. "Thanks for coming early. I could use your help with a few things."

"Of course," I said, happy to be there for him. "What do you need?"

He handed me a list of tasks, and we spent the next few hours running around, making sure everything was perfect for the concert. Despite the hectic schedule, it was fun working together, and I could see how much this concert meant to him.

As the day progressed, more and more people started to arrive, and the excitement in the air was palpable. I took a moment to step outside and catch my breath.

Standing in the cool morning air, I couldn't help but feel proud of Jungkook and all he had accomplished.

Tonight was going to be amazing.

Ha-rin's Pov:

With everything set up for the concert, I decided to take a quick walk to clear my head before the evening's excitement. Jungkook was busy rehearsing, and I didn't want to distract him, so I slipped out quietly.

As I walked through the bustling campus, I found a quiet path that led to a small park nearby.

Taking deep breaths, I tried to calm the fluttering nerves in my stomach. "Tonight's going to be amazing," I whispered to myself, "Jungkook's going to blow everyone away."

I glanced at my phone to check the time. There was still plenty of time before the concert, so I decided to visit a small café on the other side of the park. The thought of a warm cup of coffee sounded perfect.

As I made my way across the street, lost in my thoughts about Jungkook's performance, I didn't notice the car speeding towards me.

"He’s going to sing just for me," I murmured, a smile playing on my lips. Suddenly, the screeching of tires pierced the air.

I turned my head just in time to see the car swerving.

Panic surged through me, and I tried to jump out of the way...........

................but it was too late.
