Xavier finally opens the last obstacle by placing his bloodied palm, proving himself as a Pendragon. And he notices, all the spells casted on the door. It was obvious as daylight who casted them, and he knows what would have happened to him if he wasn't a Pendragon. All the spells would have activated and bounded him to a fate no one would even wish for their enemy. That's the cruelty that runs in his family, and Taehyung Pendragon, the man knew no mercy.

But it doesn't matter now,does it? He is inside the secret chamber of this grave. And infront of him was a crystal rose floating inside a glass coffin, and inside the crystal was a red pearl. He could feel it, the aura emitting from the pearl.

"So this is it. The great Elmyr, Nabi Pendragon's core", he mumbles to himself as he stares at the glowing pearl inside the crystal.

"You knew",Heeseung speaks, his eyes wide as the realisation settled in himself. "You knew who she was"

It was an era where no one knew who Elmyr was. Nobody from the new generation had even an incline about who Elmyr was. That was the reason Heeseung did not speak a word about his meeting with Nabi, to Xavier. When he woke up, he realised he somehow had opened the tomb with a strange power, as sound as unbelievable as it may, that was what Xavier told him. Might be because he was still processing everything,but he didn't have a mind to be surprised at all. And he didn't even know what more there is to be surprised at this point.

But this teenager was proving him wrong constantly.

Xavier smiles wide,eyes crinkling at the edge, he looks at Heeseung and places his index finger on his own smiling lips, "Shhh"

How does he know?

That was what Heeseung wanted to know but would he even tell him?

Xavier takes a step forward towards the coffin but pauses. Even Heeseung had to halt in his place.

"So that's how you enter"

All the alarms in Xavier's mind started ringing loudly. An intruder other than them. Instinctively,his hands went to his waist where he had a golden batch on his hip belt. Pulling the batch out,he turned back and threw towards the voice without even thinking twice. The golden batch is instantly divided into three parts in the mid air,three black ropes which are connected by the middle,went spinning towards the intruder. It is meant to bind a person but somehow,Xavier could only see a single hand move and his little machine was taken down.

And there stood a person in all black, a cape from head to toe, covering even his eyes.

Xavier's next movement was not for the intruder,instead he pulls Heeseung behind him. It would not be good if the weak human was taken as a hostage to threaten him.

The intruder moves his hand again and Xavier's broke little machine floated into his palm. He starts examining it, with a little smirk on his blackened lips on his sickly pale skin. "You didn't just intend to capture me, you wanted to give me a taste of pain",he says as looks at the tiny almost invisible thorns Xavier had hidden in the ropes. And if Xavier could successfully capture him, he would have been able to increase the length of the thorns, a way of torturing the victim.

"Who the hell are you", Xavier growls as his hand secretly went to his back. "How did you get inside without getting caught by the alarms or the traps? "

The intruder looks at Xavier from under the hood and tilts his head, "...move, I have no plans on killing children here"

Xavier's veins on his forehead pops up, irritated and annoyed, at the same time, he knew not to underestimate the enemy,"My apologies,old man, the only way you can past through here is by killing me"

"Old man?",The intruder seems to be amused. "Well, guess I am old now. I almost forgot how annoying a Pendragon could be. It's been years after all, forgive me for trying to be merciful, you little gremlin"

It is painfully obvious that this man knows Pendragons by heart. And calling a Pendragon 'gremlin', a daring move.

"You must be having a death wish", Xavier grits his teeth.

"Not really, but move aside kid, I only need the spiritual core"

"You seriously don't think I'll be saying 'go ahead sir,what else do you need'...right? "

The intruder smiles,"No, but that was my mercy for you"

Xavier,"I don't need your mercy!"

Heeseung,"But I do need!"

The next moment comes without a warning as the intruder shoots a ball of spiritual energy towards Xavier. The teenager was fast enough to shield himself and Heeseung with his own mana.

A gasp leaves from the duo as the ground started shaking. Small cracks started going under their feet.

"What the hell!", Heeseung shrieks in fear while backing away from the cracks. His back hits the glass coffin.

Meanwhile,Xavier was busy trying to protect himself as he springs to the air to avoid himself getting sucked to the ground. Every time he landed,the ground wound crack and try to suck him in.

Xavier had to jump from place to place and run on the walls to survive.

The intruder simply gives him a plain look before walking towards the coffin.
But he couldn't take another step when Xavier decided to land a kick on his back before jumping right next to the intruder who was now lying limp on the floor.

"you are not going to bury me inside the ground when I'm right next to you right?",Xavier grins before raising his fist in the air. "But guess what,I have other plans. Go to hell!!", he punches with all his might,intending to kill the man on the spot.

The ground shakes violently and a giant dent was on the floor. But the intruder was no where. Xavier looks around confused,"Did I miss?"

"Watch out!!"

Heeseung's scream brings chills to his skin as he widens his eyes before turning around. He sees nothing,absolutely nothing when he suddenly finds himself hauling backwards towards a wall. His back hits the wall in a very painful way that he almost goes unconscious with the impact.

"Xavier!", Heeseung exclaims before running towards the fallen teenager.

"You're strong and you could easily kill me with your monstrous strength but you're too far from reaching my level", we're intruder's words for the Pendragon teenager before walking towards the coffin.

Xavier grits his teeth staring at the intruder stalking towards the spiritual core.

"Don't do anything reckless!", Heeseung hisses while holding his back. "I don't think he wants to attack us unless we mess with him"

"And let that bastard take the core? No thanks. I'd rather die than facing my dad's fury"

Heeseung was on the verge of crying,"You should have thought about it before coming here, you little shit!"

Xavier curses before pulling out a pouch which was tied to his waist belt before.

Heeseung,"What is it again?"

From the pouch, Xavier pulls out something. Heeseung's eyes widens when he sees what it is. Never in his wildest dream he would have guessed Xavier would pull something like that.

"Is –Is that a freaking gun?!!",Heeseung's voice shrieks in surprise. "You have a gun?!"

"This is my mana shooter",Xavier replies as he aims the golden coloured hand gun towards the intruder. The 'mana shooter' had a carving of the Pendragon logo with a handle in black colour.

The teenage inventor pulls the trigger. A little ball of white light hit the stranger right on his head as he was sent hauling towards a wall. The impact was so strong that there was a dent on the wall. The intruder's body falls on the ground with a loud thud after the brutal hit.

"That should be enough to kill the son of a bitch", Xavier mutters before standing up.

Heeseung's jaw had been wide opened all this time like  a gaping fish. He just witnessed a child killing a person. "You....killed him?"

"This machine is purely for killing, if the mana bullet wasn't enough, then the infused poison would kill him slowly"

Pendragons.

All Heeseung could think was that. There was no need for any explanation for kid's thinking pattern or behaviour. He is just a 'normal' Pendragon who build deadly weapons just to kill.

Heeseung watches as Xavier walks towards the spiritual core without even batting an eye to the dead man. So he walks towards the dead body and crouches next to the body. The hood was still covering half of his face, so he tries to lift the hood.

He could only try because he feels a chill running down his spine the second a hand caught his wrist. The supposed 'dead man' is holding his hand, without letting him raise the hood.

Heeseung wasts no time in screaming,"Xavier!!! Watch out!"

Too late, a big stone giant emerges from the ground,right next to Xavier. The teenager freezes for a moment, he slowly takes his eyes away from the coffin but he couldn't even take a look when he was yanked by his legs before he was smashed onto the ground. The ground cracks, blood splattering all around where Xavier's head was smashed.

"Xavier!!!", Heeseung screams in utter horror as he watches the kid getting smashed to the ground again and again. He tries running towards them but he suddenly feels himself getting lifted up in the air.

The intruder seems to be pissed as he grits his teeth while raising Heeseung up in the air. Heeseung could see some black liquid running down along the intruder's face, probably from where the mana bullet was hit. Heeseung catches the intruder muttering to himself and he seems to be saying something along the line ,"Fuck, I can't stop this"

Heeseung feels his throat tightening,he was being choked by the wind around his neck. His neck veins and forehead veins starts popping out as he feels himself being suffocated. From the corner of his eyes, he could see Xavier getting beaten by this giant golem of a stone monster. It was thrice the size of the kid,and again Heeseung was reminded that Xavier is still a kid. A kid who actually needs protection from an adult. A teenager who refuses to believe it.

And it happens again.

The silver aura starts wrapping around himself like a warm blanket. Eyes glowing in pure silver colour, he feels a surge of power through his entire body making all the hair in his body rise.

The intruder flinches seeing this, accidentally letting loose the hold of the golem in his control. And it was enough for Xavier to take a breath, he manages to kicks the golem's giant hand and jumps back. His whole head and face are bloody and not an inch of skin was visible through the red colour. His feels dizzy from all the hits he took but he did not let himself to fall.

The intruder took the control of the golem again and started choking Heeseung even more.

But this time, Xavier could manage to land a punch on the golem's abdomen,crumbling the giant to the ground. However,he could not enjoy his win when three more golems starts emerging from the ground.

eeseung looses the silver aura as he could not grasp the power. By now, he had a feeling that he had some kind of power but he didn't know how to awaken it.

His eyes rolls back, saliva rolling down from the corner of his lips, the death is knocking on his door today. But this is not how he wants to die. This is not the 'death' he was looking for. His 'death' belongs to someone else. He had already promised it to this red and green eyed man.

A white light flashes before his eyes.

His first thought was that it was the life flashing before his eyes but when he could take a breath, he knew it was a different light. And the wind gusting on his face as he falls, he is definitely still living. A pain hits his back as he falls on the ground. For a moment, everything was hazy. His brain took few seconds to process what was happening.

"Dad!!"

Heeseung hears Xavier's voice. And then he sees. Silhouettes of two men.
