The Bishop mansion was surrounded by a red dust of mana,threatening to explode the grounds any moment. The one controlling everything was very obviously the next tower master,Gloria Pendragon. And the one who was holding her back was the duchess Pendragon,lady Luna.

"Gloria,explode everything if they do not agree with my conditions",Luna ordered.

Gloria's lips tilted up into a little menacing smile,"Alright"

Luna looked dead in the eyes of the Saintess Senga,"I want a Bishop....to go to the Pendragon house. And that person will serve the Pendragons like slave for an year"

Were her direct orders.

Everyone in the room was flabbergasted,shocked,and in disbelief. Even Gloria.

"Only an year? That's too much light of a punishment,aunt"

"You think so?Then two?"

"Three would do"

"Alright ",Luna nodded and looked at the Bishops. "Three years"

"You—",Katherine Bishop was about yo open her mouth but Gloria's mana circled around her way too fast for her liking. Gritting and grinding her teeth,she kept quiet while seething and trembling in fury.

Even Wynn was quiet,but he didn't look that much displeased or uncomfortable for a Bishop from the direct bloodline.

Luna kept her head high,calm and collected with her hands clasped infront of her like a proper lady,"Don't think I'm being too unreadable here. You tormented Gabriel,a Pendragon,for almost eight months for what? A crystal? You never needed that crystal before. Did you even know about it until Gabriel came here?"

"It doesn't matter whether we knew about the crystal or not. It belonged to our territory —"

"Gloria"

Gloria smiled widely when Luna called her out. Her fingers twitched as she fisted one hand and

Boom!

One of the turrets that belonged to the Bishop castle was instantly bombarded.

Luna sighed,"I don't want to use this method too. But you left me no choice. This is actually a way better choice for Bishops,don't you think so? Think about it,if I report this to my husband,do you actually think he would stay still and let it go thinking of peace?"

Gabriel looked at his aunt in a new light today. She had always been cold yet kind,like a winter breeze. She never seemed ruthless even with her cold attitude but today,she looked extremely ruthless and merciless.

"And why did Gabriel have to 'steal' it in the first place? Wasn't it because you did nothing to help the guardians of the kingdom when they needed you the most? It is also your duty to keep the kingdom safe. Playing neutral until when? What's the point anyway?",Luna shook her head. "Decide,you send a Bishop as a slave to the Pendragon house for three years or I report everything to my husband"

Saintess sighed,right now even if she wanted to justify their actions,she couldn't open her mouth or else who knows which building the Pendragon witch would destroy. It was pointless to even threaten them when they were ready to just blow up everything within their sight.

"Which Bishop you want?",finally Saintess decided to bite the shame and go along with their wishes.

Gloria,"I personally like if it is that bitch over there",her eyes stayed on Moira for few seconds before turning to Gabriel. "What do you say?"

Gabriel looked at Moira who was looking back at him with a straight face,no rile up emotions. Though her personality had so many flaws,she was still a great woman,a woman who holds the pride of being a Bishop.

Luna,"Gab"

Gabriel took his eyes away from her,"Aunt —"

Luna,"Don't say we don't have to do this,do you rather mind if I report everything back to your father?"

"Idris Bishop",Gabriel was too quick to answer right after Luna's question.

"What!!",the youth in the question bellowed,"Why the hell,you fake bastard"

Gloria,"Since he is a slave,should I break one of his legs before sending him to the capital?"

Idris was forced to shut up like that.

Luna looked at Gabriel calmly,"Any specific reason?"

"He kind of deserves to know that he is not too different from any other human",Gabriel shrugged without directly saying how much that bastard loved to bully him.

Luna nodded,"Alright,Idris,you don't have to pack anything. Slaves don't need luxurious clothes"

"But aunt!",Idris cried out. "This is not fair!! Why are you doing this for a bastard like him? He is not even a real Pendragon!"

"And you think you are a real Bishop?",Luna fired back,eyes filled with mockery. "Do you even know why Bishops descended down to this kingdom? Bishops used to be angels in the heaven. We had wings. Why do you think we don't have wings anymore? Clearly,you know nothing about Bishops"

"Then can you tell us who is a real 'Bishop'?",Unexpectedly and surprisingly,it was Moira who questioned her. "According to you,if we are not real Bishops,who are the real Bishops?"

Luna stared at her in silence few seconds as if she was trying to read Moira's mind. Ultimately,she decided to answer her,"A Bishop is an angel who sacrificed his wings to be a human so he could heal and protect the humans in this kingdom. Bishops are meant to save people,they are meant to love people. We are not forced to protect the people like Pendragons,we came here on our own accord,the responsibility is ours to take. Now tell me,are you a Bishop Moira? When have you used your powers to save a human?"

Luna looked at the Saintess,"I'm not showing mercy on this family just because I am a Bishop. I have no reason to hold back from doing my duty as the duchess. But the promise I gave to my brother Aodhan was what is saving this family now. He might have been a rebellious asshole back then but he was a true Bishop and he loved this family"

"How do you feel?",Sunghoon asks as he wrapped up everything alone after removing the dead cells from the teenage girl's body.

The girl said nothing as she kept her gaze on the creamy coloured ceiling. Her tears rolled down one after another but no sound came from her mouth.

Sunghoon removed his gloves from his hands,"You have this look saying 'I'm going to comit suicide' "

The girl finally looked at him,eyes filled with the anguish of being a woman. "Stop talking if you don't understand me"

Sunghoon shrugged,there was no hint of concern in his eyes,"Whatever. It's your life anyways"

"....."

"To die,it takes a lot of will power, why don't you use it to do something for yourself?"

"Are you trying 'comfort' me,my lord? You don't sound concerning at all"

"Yeah right. Do whatever you want. I'm leaving",Sunghoon turned around cold heartedly and took a few steps towards the door but had to pause when he heard her little voice sobbing.

"I just want to kill that man and die"

Sunghoon continued walking out as if he heard nothing,it was not his business now.

As soon as he left the room,he was met with Jake who had been waiting patiently outside for him. His eyes lit up once he saw Sunghoon coming out.

"How is she?"

"She is fine",Sunghoon gave a half hearted comment about the girl's condition as he walked past Jake,"But don't raise your hopes up,though I did my part,it is up to her to keep living or not"

Jake held Sunghoon's shoulder and turned him around with a little bit of force,"What do you mean?"

Sunghoon looked at the concerned expression of his brother and sighed,"I meant what I said. She doesn't have a will to keep living —"

"Isn't that your fault?"

Sunghoon was taken back as he flinched when Jake threw the accusation at his face.

"What do you mean my fault?",Sunghoon asked,eyes narrowing at Jake's accusatory tone.

"You spoke about her condition infront of everyone! She was clearly uncomfortable! You are a doctor,Sunghoon. You must know that a patient's condition is confidential!"

True,what Jake said was honestly true that even Sunghoon knew he did wrong in that sense.

"Do you honestly think she would commit suicide just because of that? Then you are fucking naive,Jake. Anyways,I'm done here. Why don't you go and take a look,try changing her mind if you can,but I doubt you can do it"

Suddenly Jake slumped down on the floor with his head in between his knees,"....I'm sorry,Hoon"

Sunghoon raised an eyebrow in confusion,"What are you sorry for ?"

"I know you don't like being a doctor and all but I still forced you to treat her and then all I did was accused you,I must have been out of my mind"

"....why are you suddenly like that?",Sunghoon was honestly surprised. He couldn't think what Jake was thinking.

Jake raised his head and looked at him,"It's just.....you make me feel bad"

"What the.....speak normal language so I can understand,you dumb fuck"

"Hoon,....as far as I know,you cared for nothing. And I never expected you'd be someone who would come to this world for me. I was honestly surprised to see you. I just came to realise that you actually do care for me"

Sunghoon stared at Jake for good few minutes and listened to his words. Then he scowled,"Who cares for who now? You are having a fucking melt down. Go rest. If you are that worried about that child,then I'll take care of it. Geez,you should atleast pay me"

Sunghoon turned around and entered the room of the girl again,leaving Jake confused.

Soon enough,he returned backs and glanced at Jake,"There is a man in the next ward,a half noble with brown hair and brown eyes. Ask our knight to bring that man to a vacant room. Be discrete as possible as you can"

"Wh –What are you going to do?"

"Saving Jenna's life"

"Jenna?"

"The girl I saved today,she needs mental saving too if we want to keep her alive"

"You already know her name,Hoon? What did you talk about with her?"

Sunghoon grinned and raised his index finger to his lips,"It's a confidential information,I cannot leak my client's information"

Jake was genuinely surprised and confused,nevertheless he turned around to leave after much pestering from Sunghoon.

For Jake and the knight,it was easy to take out the half noble man from the other ward since no one was there to guard their place. All the security had gone to a restricted section where the 'plagued' patients are.

Once the man was moved into a room,Sunghoon brought Jenna with the help of a wheelchair and entered the room.

"Jake,you stay out of this room"

"Why?..."

Sunghoon pushed him out if the room gently,"Because only Jenna can see this part from now on"

Jake stayed outside as he looked around,nobody was near by as if this part of the hospital was abandoned.

"Jake!"

A voice startled him,a very familiar voice. Turning around,he saw the Pendragon siblings stalking towards him with lady Luna behind them.

"Jake!",Gloria called out,"What's going on? Why are you here? "

"How did you know we are here?",Jaked asked.

"I have put a tracking device on you in case we lost you two",Gloria explained,pointing at Jake's cufflink. "We wouldn't have let you go without thinking about your safety"

Jake didn't know whether to thank her for her worry or be mad at her for not telling him this. Anyway,it didn't matter now.

"Where is Sunghoon?",Gabriel asked.

Jake was about to open her mouth to answer but a loud earbleeding scream started them. It came from the room next to them.
