"You two will have to head to the hospital building before us",Gloria said as she fixed her cufflinks while staring at herself in the mirror. She looked at the other person on the mirror,Jake who was sitting on her bed.

Jake sighed as he watched her,"I thought we came here to help with the plague. Is it really a plague though?"

Gloria smirked,"My my,you are a smart one,aren't you?"

Jake rolled his eyes with a smile,"What do you take me for? I have a brain for a reason"

"Really? I thought you left your brain in your world"

"Hey! That's not a very nice thing to say!"

Gloria raised an eyebrow and scoffed,"What! Just remembering what you did six months ago when you just came,I couldn't really come with a better conclusion. You were a total moron back then"

"Oh come on! You kidnapped me!! Of course I would try anything to run away from you. And don't forget that you almost killed me",Jake sounded a bit upset while saying the last sentence. His lips turned into a slight pout as he looked away,grumbling to himself. "I even fell down the stairs because of you"

Gloria,"Stop being a crybaby now. You didn't die,did you now? Beside,my dad was there to save you. Once he got to know you were Storm's friend,he almost forgot whose dad he was"

"You are just being jealous now. Hahaha"

"Do you want to die?"

"You are too cruel~ it's not my fault that your family just love me"

Gloria looked back with a glare and walked towards the bed with a menacing glare as if she was ready to devour the poor man alive.

Jake,who had literally experienced this woman's crazy side firsthand,started freaking out. "Sorry! I'm so sorry!! I was wrong! Hey!",he started backing up on the bed and tried to crawl away but his ankle was caught by the monster woman. He gasped loudly as he was yanked back and was pinned to the bed with her legs either side of his hips. He smiled nervously,"Hehe,are you mad?"

"Yes very!",she whispered in a teasing voice. "I'm so so mad that I want to see you cry"

"You evil girl! Let me go",Jake didn't even sound pitiful when he asked to be released. He did not even try struggling. The look in his eyes was a complete contrary to his words. He bit his lips as he stared into her eyes.

"You don't seem to be scared of me anymore. My dad and uncles are not here,I could easily kill you,you know"

"Sounds great",Jake grinned. "You know,evil women had always been my type"

Gloria raised an eyebrow,"Really now?aren't you too innocent to have this kind of type?"

"What to do? Can't change what I like"

Gloria's face heated up with how Jake's tone and words played. Jake was literally the embodiment of innocence and playfulness. He had always been a happy puppy regardless of the situation. During the past months,they kind of had a bickering relationship,yet he was happy no matter what. Gloria tried killing Jake once because of her temper and if not for her dad showing up at the right time,she would have literally killed him. And she was severely punished too for trying to harm Jake. So,she was not happy with Jake's existence back then. That's why Jake was kept in Seokjin's custody until Storm arrives.

But still Jake was her responsibility. So,she had no choice but to get involved with him.

But now,looking at Jake's face,he did not look like the happy puppy from back then. And he didn't look innocent either.

Gloria cleared her throat and backed away. Since few weeks,she had been active a little strange whenever she is infront of Jake. And she hated it. Because she was not a naive child who did not recognise their own feelings. She knew what it means to like someone or love someone. She had seen how her father cares for her mother. Her father had never really said he loves her mother but she could see it in his father's eyes.

But it doesn't mean she is not overwhelmed by these thoughts. It's impossible between her and Jake. He is from another world. He needs to go back.

"We should go to the dining room",she quietly said as she turned her back to him. "Come on. You are going to be very busy"

Jake seemed disappointed. He stood up,fixing his black shirt,"Yeah? Alright then",he walked towards her and faced her straight on.

"W –What",Gloria's facade almost fell seeing Jake's figure and her eyes went wide like two full moons when Jake leaned closer to her face. His eyes travelled to her lips,making a lewd expression as his lips almost touched hers. Almost,but never touched. He backed away the moment they were about to touch and turned around before leaving the room with a smirk on his face.

Gloria was stupefied on her spot as she stayed rooted the ground,eyes still wide in shock. "Th –That son of a bitch",she clenched her fists as her cheeks took a dark shade of red.

After the breakfast,both Sunghoon and Jake sat on a carriage while the Pendragon siblings and lady Luna stayed behind.

Gabriel looked inside the carriage through the window where Sunghoon was sitting,"Think about the offer I gave,alright",he whispered and backed away before Sunghoon could scratch his face.

Sunghoon was so pissed at him for sleeping in his room. Though Gabriel had taken the couch,Sunghoon still couldn't stay sane knowing his personal space had been crossed.

"What's with you two?",Gloria asked she watched how Sunghoon was fuming on his seat.

Gabriel grinned innocently,"Nothing. He is just mad that he has to work"

"Gabriel Pendragon",Sunghoon's menacing sound came from the carriage,"You better sleep with eyes open from now on. You do know what I am best at,right?"

Gabriel laughed awkwardly,"Ahaha"

"We need to meet the Saintess,hurry",Moira interrupted as she strode towards them.

Lady Luna looked at the two men in the carriage,"Don't be scared,alright? You won't get infected. So,try to help the patients a little. I'll be forever grateful to you two"

Sunghoon looked away with crossed arms,he definitely had the face of a man who doesn't care whether they die or not.

But Jake on the other hand had a very big smile,"Don't worry my lady! Me and my brother will help them. You might not know but Hoon here is the best physician I have ever seen. He can do anything! Trust me"

Sunghoon groaned in annoyance,"Stop spouting nonsense. I'm not that great. And I'm not a physician!!"

Jake ignored his tantrum and waved at the people as the carriage started to move.

Moira,"He is a physician?"

Gabriel looked at her,"Yes"

"But he is not a divine healer. He is useless"

Gabriel felt a vein popping on his forehead,"You are a divine healer,yet are you useful?"

Moira's face twitched,"What did you say"

Gloria also laughed mockingly,"True. What is the point of being a divine healer if you don't even go to the hospital to help people? As far as I know,only lady Luna had been visiting the hospital"

Moira looked like she was about to loose it. Her face went red from the suppressed anger,"You little bitch"

"That's enough",Luna interrupted. "We have a meeting. Don't get riled up unnecessarily now. Let's go inside"

The Pendragon house people walked inside first leaving Moirs behind. The barrier between the Bishop family and Pendragons were too obvious. They do not even walk together. As they were walking past the hallway of portraits,Gloria pointed at a certain portrait,"Aunt,who is that? He looks like you"

Luna looked at the portrait but didn't stay to continue looking at it. She just walked past the portrait as she answered Gloria,"....that's my younger brother. Aodhan Bishop"

"A traitor",Moira spoke from behind.

Luna didn't look back and continued to walk as if her words didn't even affect her.

Gabriel,"I don't think your family would be hanging a picture of a traitor if he really is"

Moira scoffed,"What do you know? My dad said that he was a scoundrel since young. Rebelling against the family and running away,he was never a true Bishop"

Gloria completely ignored Moira and turned to Luna,"Where is he now?"

Luna,".....who knows. No one had seen him ever since he left the family",....."We are here"

They have already reached the destination.

Gabriel's pov|

It wasn't the study room we entered yesterday. This room seems to be quite extravagant seeing the massive mahogany double door. Uncle Seokjin sent us here to receive certain information about the 'plague' and act accordingly. So,it was quite questionable why we are entering a grand Hall instead of a study room.

Even Gloria seemed a bit uncomfortable,then my eyes went to my aunt who was having a slight frown on her face. Guess,I am not the only one feeling paranoid here.

As Moira opened the doors,we were greeted with the sight of something unexpected. It wasn't the beautiful architectural designs of the hall that caught us off guard,neither the water fountain in the middle of the hall. What caught us off guard was the fact that it wasn't just the Saintess there waiting fos us. There were six more figures,sitting around the water fountain,waiting for us with some interestingly familiar bored faces. I knew them all,but I doubt Gloria knows them too.

They were four elders of the Bishop family including the Saintess and three other our generation Bishops. My stomach churned unpleasantly feeling nostalgic. This scenes suddenly seemed to overlap with the image of my once buried memories. And in those memories,I was forced to kneel infront of them for the crime of trying to steal from their territory. The crystal I risked my life for. It was disgraceful and the feelings and emotions had been engraved on my mind like a white cloth tainted by black.

"Sit down",The Saintess' voice reached us in a very cold and distant way that you would never miss the disgust in her voice.

From the corner of my eyes,I could see how Gloria seemed to be getting restless. She had never been under this kind of circumstance,and she would probably not be able to tolerate any disrespect. Gloria is a Pendragon through and through,and a prideful princess who is in line for the throne. If I don't keep her calm today,things would get messy between the two families.

After receiving a nod from aunt Luna,I took my steps forward and hoped that Gloria would follow my lead.

For some reason,it feels like we are criminals under their scrutinising gazes.

As we took our seats,surrounding the water fountain,I spoke,"We are here by the order of the Duke Pendragon. We suppose —"

"We requested an elder Pendragon. Why are the kids here?"

atherine Bishop,an elder Bishop woman. Lady Luna's aunt from her mother's side if I am not mistaken. The way she interrupted me rudely showed her clear dissatisfied attitude towards me and Gloria. But I could say that it was specially directed to me with the way her purple eyes were looking so condescendingly at me.

"Elders are busy. Please be understanding",I tried using the polite language so as to not stire up unnecessarily conflicts. "And I can assure you that we are as much as cable as our elders"

"Hah!Look at you,talking about capabilities"

Idris Bishop,one of aunt Luna's nephews. This one really is an idiot and a scoundrel. He is the same age as me if I remember correctly.

Before Idris could open his mouth again,aunt Luna interrupted him.

"We are here to discuss about important matters. Can we move pass these childish attempts to show your own inferiority and superiority complexes? And Idris,why are you here? Do you have anything to say regarding the 'plague' situation?"

I could see the embarrassing face of Idris as he glared at me. I looked at him with a smile which was a clear slap on the face to him.

To be honest,I could care less about these comments and move pass it but what concerns me is Gloria. She had been awfully silent the entire time.

"It seems the duchess Pendragon has taken some offence but we are merely concerned for our territory. We can't hand over the our territory problems to some inexperienced kids",Saintess spoke.

No matter how much I look at it,this seemed like a stage set up just to bully us because they see us as easy targets. I sighed as I closed my eyes,I cannot let them drag this on. We need to reach the hospital too,it's pointless if they are just wasting our time like this.

"Listen,I am no longer planning on kissing your asses just so we could keep the peace. I was raised by the Jungkook Pendragon,I was taught by him,and I had fought many battles,atleast more than you all. And this here,is the Princess Gloria Pendragon,Taehyung Pendragon's eldest daughter,so,do we really have to prove ourselves here? If you don't want to cooperate just because we are not elders,then I advise to you to wait until they have a time",it was really hard to play nice and all. Atleast I tried to be polite. I'm sure uncle Seokjin wouldn't get mad at me for this.
