Gabriel Pendragon,the 'fake' and 'dirty' blood,the black crow of the noble society,he was different from everywhere you look. Ever since he was young,he knew he was different and society did not like different people. They say he was lucky to be picked up by a Pendragon and he sure was. Gabriel wouldn't deny his luck.

Because if it was another noble family,he would have been scorned to death by now. The name Pendragon had given him everything even if he was a black crow.

But still,it was impossible to keep all the gossiping mouths shut. People still looked at him like he was a thorn in the eye. And again,he was lucky,so damn lucky because the Pendragon who picked him up happened to be the notoriously dangerous Jungkook Pendragon. The mentality this man shoved into Gabriel's brain helped him to coop up with all the bullshits around him.

"Moira,there should be a limit to your disrespect. I do not care what you say to me but do not cross the line",his voice sounded like a threat because damn hell it was.

The woman snickered,"What a thing to say while choking me like this"

Gabriel removed his grip from her neck and backed away,keeping a safe distance. "Thought the old ways would work on you. Didn't you use to like it when I choke you"

Moira started chuckling,a dark glint appearing on her purple eyes,"It would have worked quite well if you listened to me. You stubborn bastard"

"What the hell do you want?"

".....come back to me"

Silence.

Both of them stayed in a chilly silence before Gabriel fell into a fit of laughter covering his eyes. It didn't seem like he found her words hilarious,rather he was laughing in disbelief. He looked at her with a grin yet his eyes were shoving how he angry he was.

"Moira,you are the one who pushed me away. Did you forget that? And do you even remember what you did to me?! And you are asking me to come back?"

"I pushed you away because of your Pendragon name! You know that damn well you jerk"

"Well,what can I do? I am a Pendragon. If you can't accept me as I am,then get lost",Gabriel's words were harsh for a lady. Yet he gave zero shits.

"I thought you loved me"

"That wasn't love,Moira! You know it,damn it! You took advantage from my vulnerable time and manipulated me into thinking it was love! And don't even tell me you loved me,you just loved the control you had over me that time. That was all what we had!"

Gabriel was lucky,yes he was lucky but even he had times when he felt like luck was never on his side. No one knew but him. A time he suffered alone. A time he wished to die yet he could not bring himself to.

On the year he turned 18,his best friend turned out to be a maniac trying to ruin his family. Storm placed a curse on the elder Pendragons and vanished. The start of his misery. It was absolute hell for him to witness his father going ballistic every single night due to constant nightmares. It got to a point that Jungkook refused to sleep. And Gabriel couldn't even ask help from his uncles because they were no better than his father.

So he had to do something. No divine healer could do anything because this was a curse. A curse from hell. Somehow with Gloria's help back then,he managed to find a temporary solution. It wouldn't remove the curse but it will atleast give the elders few hours of sleep without a dream. Only few hours. But that was better than nothing.

A purple crystal named Agan. It was said to be hidden deep inside the forest of life 'Beathan'. Gloria and Gabriel had spent days in Taehyung's library,reading ancient books to find a solution. And this was what they found. That's how Gabriel ended up in Bishop city few years ago because the damn forest was in their territory. It took him eight months to return back home with the crystal and no one knew what happened to him during the eight months of no whatsoever contact.

"If only you man up and left the Pendragons,things would have been different for us",Moira sighed with a clear disappointed look.

Gabriel snickered,"No,if only you could woman up and face your own inferiority and superiority complex,you could have been happier"

Moira's face twitched at the comment thrown at her like a vile pathogen. Gabriel knew how to hit where it hurts.

"I let you play with me for eight fucking months. I stayed in this stinky bedroom with no fireplace to warm myself in the winter. Starved,mentally abused,verbally abused,physically abused,I let you all do whatever you want. I let you trample on my honor as a knight and gave myself up thinking you would be my only light. But no,you were just a bitch -"

Pa!

A slap landed on Gabriel's face.

It was a frozen second before Gabriel started chuckling,"Yeah,that was what you did everyday when you things didn't go on your way. But that time is over",his voice dropped,an icy glare fixated on the woman,"There is nothing here to risk my life for. Therefore you should know better than to hit me again Moira. Because I hit back"

Gabriel raised his hand so high,and watched Moira's reaction. As expected,the woman was ice cold,she showed no fear. Maybe this was why he fell for her at the first place. But her ice cold nature was clearly not good for him.

"Be glad I am still thinking like a knight rather than a Pendragon here",Gabriel lowered his hand. Pendragons do not consider gender when they wanted to harm someone but a knight should always respect women. This was what he could give Moira as a last closure for their unresolved past.

"Don't say you are still thinking like a knight when you already raised your hand against me",Moira responded. "You are still a Pendragon to the very core of your heart. Disgusting"

"Coming from someone who called me 'fake',I'll take that as a compliment. Good night",with that Gabriel left the room. He did not know where to go now. He did not receive a guest room,and no way he was going to stay in that stinky and cold bedroom.

No one in the Pendragon house knew what happened to him. It was secret only him and Bishops knew. Gabriel had to sacrifice himself for his family. It was humiliating and disgraceful as a Pendragon and most importantly,if his family knew,precisely his father,he didn't even want to imagine the catastrophe Jungkook might bring in.

As he was walking past a hallway,he froze seeing someone in a balcony. At first he thought it was an intruder but upon closer look,he realised it was someone else.

"Ice prince?",He mumbled.

Sunghoon looked back hearing Gabriel's voice only to grimace like he wanted nothing to do with him which made Gabriel giddy.

"What the hell",Sunghoon mumbled before looking away. In his hand was a wine bottle,no wonder his cheeks were all red.

"You got some good stuff huh? Care to share?",He asked as he saunted towards Sunghoon.

"Shoo! I'm not sharing shit with you"

"Why not?"

"Why should I? You fuckers dragged me here when I was perfectly fine with no works. And where the fuck is Heeseung? That son of a bitch was supposed to join us during the trip to here! If I were to have more work because of him,I'm going to kill someone",Sunghoon was throwing tantrum at this point.

Gabriel snickered, "Seriously,you are so fucking weird. Can you even kill someone?"

"I can",the reply was immediate that it made Gabriel wonder whether Sunghoon was joking or not.

"Haha! Sure~ have you even killed someone before?"

The answer was a silence that said a bit too much. Sunghoon didn't look at Gabriel as he continued to drink yet it spoke a crystal clear answer.

"You have",Gabriel didn't ask,it was a statement. His teasing tone no longer existed as he watched Sunghoon with calm expression.

"Surprise surprise",Sunghoon smirked as he licked his lips. "A fucking good physician I am"

Gabriel crossed his arms and leaned against the railing as he watched Sunghoon with a slightly curved up lips,"I never took you for someone who actually kills. I thought you were all bark and no bite"

Sunghoon fixed his glasses on his nose bridge and looked at Gabriel,the smirk never leaving his lips,"Just because I hang out with goodie goodie people like Jake and Heeseung,doesn't mean I am good"

Gabriel nodded his head with amused eyes,"Right,but what could even measure a man's good and bad? Maybe you are good in someone else's judgement?"

"Is that so?"

".....was it one time?"

Sunghoon looked at the crescent moon up in the sky and sky before smiling,it almost looked like a genuine sad smile but it was gone the minute it appeared. "....more than once. Can't even count with my fingers",it was almost sounded like a whisper,a whisper filled with his deepest feelings,he looked at Gabriel again,"Now say,am I good in your judgement?"

Gabriel didn't lose his smile as he kept looking at the ice prince he grew to admire,the man absolutely looked ethereal,"Maybe.....you know,I grew up with Pendragons. Everyone knows what kind of family it is. Murder is inevitable in a family like this. We kill. They say that there was a time that they killed for the sake of the pleasure. It was a curse. The curse makes them want to kill. Bloodlust grows within their hearts and minds,and goes out of control if not satisfied. Though they no longer suffer from that curse,they are still original Pendragons who had the curse blood running through them. So,to answer your question,it doesn't really matter whether you killed one or more,I judge based on the terms I set for myself"

Sunghoon stared at Gabriel for good few seconds before leaning against the railing next to Gabriel. ".....I became a doctor when I was 16. They said I was a genius born once in a life time. So I believed them. The talent I was born with should have been used to save people but instead,I was made into a weapon to be used against the people that pose a threat to the government system. I tortured people with my medical abilities to get information,to threaten,or to shut people up. Whenever someone tried causing trouble in the society,they would mysteriously fall a sick and would be directly under my care for a time being. Well,....their fate was in my hands during the time of their 'healing' period. It wasn't always a bad guy,it could be a good man who wanted justice,if the government deemed him to be a threat,then I'll have to do the work"

Gabriel listened without interrupting. So,Sunghoon continued. It was out of his character to blurt out the secrets he should be taking to his grave but today,he just wanted to spill everything. Because one,Gabriel was not from his world,two,.....Sunghoon didn't want to die without letting anyone know what he had done.

"And you know what's funny? I don't even feel any remorse over this. I always took it as my job. But sometimes when I look at people like Jake,I kind of feel like a piece of crap. I feel like I'm the worst scum for not even feeling guilty for something terrible like this"

Gabriel,"You won't actually speak like this if you don't feel anything about this. Maybe you don't know but this is your consciousness speaking out for you"

Sunghoon shrugged,"I don't know. And I think I would still do it if I were given the orders"

"You are a piece of crap then but it's alright. My dad used to be like that too,my uncles said"

Sunghoon chuckled,"Do you want to know something else?"

Gabriel smirked knowing Sunghoon is tipsy by now. "Go ahead"

"If I didn't come here,I'd be dead by now in my world"

Gabriel's smile flattered at this slightly,"What do you mean?"

Sunghoon continued to chuckle as he accidentally brushed his shoulders against Gabriel's and almost fell but Gabriel helped him to steady his body.
He held onto Sunghoon's waist so he would not fall again but the position seemed a bit awkward for Gabriel.

"There was an order to kill me"

Sunghoon spoke with a dead calm voice,still keeping his smile on his face,staring directly into Gabriel's eyes,"I knew too much. And the predator turned into a prey"

For the first time,Gabriel's eyes widened in shock. "...what"

"I knew all their dirty secrets. And was at the center too. Hahaha,for them,someone like me who knew too much,was a greater threat than any other victim I tortured"

Sunghoon might not know but Gabriel was seeing his soul bare and crystal. Sunghoon had locked away his emotions a long time ago,so he didn't know how to feel guilty over his dirty works but Sunghoon had always been loyal to his work despite everything. And to be at the end of the blade of that loyalty,it was too much for Sunghoon.

"....you kept these feelings for a long time,huh?",Gabriel whispered. "It must have been hard"

"Not really. I am fine"

Gabriel smiled,"Yes,you are fine. And you know what,you are more of a Pendragon than I am"

Sunghoon blinked at this,confused.

"Your loyalty,the bravery,the will to keep going even if it is at the cost of your own soul for the sake of your superior,you belong to the house Pendragon,Sunghoon. And I say with guarantee,Pendragons will give their lives for those who hold the loyalty in their hearts. That's....your home if you wish to find one"

"My....home?"

"Yes,give your loyalty to me,and I will show you what you truly deserve",....."Be my person,I Gabriel Pendragon,the son of Jungkook Pendragon,will grant you the permission to enter the Pendragon house as a member of the house"
