Storm could use his sword without a problem but he was literally dealing with the upcoming best rookie mage of the Pendragon magic tower,Tower master Taehyung's only daughter,an indirect heir to the throne.

He needed his mana. He could gather a considerable amount of mana thanks to Heeseung's body but he was still dealing with the effect of the poison.

He swung his sword and his sword glare destroyed half of the building,and somehow scared the poor beggar making him run away.

Gloria had already dodged the attack,"I know you are poisoned,Storm. Brother Ashen told me. You are in no condition to fight me"

Yet another attack,his sword almost graced Gloria but she did a back flip avoiding the almost near death.

Storm's crimson eye glistened in pure fury,it burns his blood to remember the last day he spent in his world. "Never thought Ashen would stand so low enough to poison me,just so he could win"

Gloria cocked her head to a side and chuckled,"But you play the dirtiest,brother"

Storm smiled innocently,"That's because I am the bad guy?"

Gloria avoided another attack,"Oh you don't say that. Not infront of me!",she raised her leg so high and tried hitting Storm with her heel but he was so familiar with her that he jumped back to avoid the attack. "I learned from you how to cheat after all!"

The days before Storm revealed his identity,he sure taught Gloria few things just so he could get closer to Pendragons. To break their hearts. The more they get attached,the more painful it would be for them when he reveals his real intentions.

There were no Pendragon who plays by the rules. Never have been one.

Storm smirks secretly,the little devil had the genes of a Pendragon and a devil. If he could not take down one Pendragon girl,then why should he even live?

When the next kick came his way,he grabbed Gloria's leg before smashing her against her ground,cracking the concrete into bits. When Gloria screamed in pain,he had no regret or guilt,he continued to body slam her against the ground and walls.

He suddenly removes the grip when he felt a mana blast on his way,it slightly graced his cheek making a small scratch but he managed to dodge it. Wiping the small blood drop from his cheek,he grinned,"Go and cry to daddy about how your cousin bullied you"

Gloria was fuming. Her eyes glowing in bright red. The veins popping out from her forehead.

"Did you really manage to open a gate to come here? That can't be~",Storm mocked her. "Give me a break,even if you use your mana and fight me,I could still kill you here,Gloria. Even with the poison. You better go back because there is no Gabriel to stop me today from killing you"

Gloria started patting her dress to get off dust from her body. "....you only treat him nice because he doesn't have Pendragon blood?"

"Last time I remember,I body slammed him that he went unconscious. That looks nice to you?",Storm asked sarcastically.

Gloria rolled her eyes,"....he needs your help"

Storm scoffed,"Of all people,he seeks help from me? Are you out of your mind? Or is it him out of his mind?"

"Take it seriously,Storm. He really needs your help"

Storm pretended to think,"Mmm....how about this....NO. Now go back"

"Storm"

"YOU said he didn't send you. Then what is this you are talking about? Piss off"

"He really didn't send me. I came because only YOU can help him. I didn't want to come here either. But you wouldn't want to talk to my father,so he had to send me"

Storm looked away as if he expected this,"I knew it. I should have killed him when he begged me to kill him"

Gloria's face darkened hearing what he said. Her jaw ticked and the Pendragon aura started seeping slightly,"You don't have any right to mock my father"

"HE begged me to kill him,what is even there to mock? If it wasn't for Gabriel and Ashen being nosy,I would have killed him then and there"

A massive fire started rising up from the ground surrounding Storm. But Storm stayed still,staring straight at the girl who was seething in pure rage.

"You never understood them. Never will. You are right. You cannot help Gabriel. An asshole like you should just die!"

"STORM!!"

Both Pendragon cousins froze.

What a great timing.

They both looked at Heeseung and his friends running towards them.

Oh no

Storm looked at Gloria who was looking at Heeseung. Then his eyes went to Heeseung who was running straight towards him.

"STOP!!",Storm screamed from the top of his lungs. His eyes wide and worried.

It was a mistake. A big mistake.

Because Gloria fucking saw it! Saw Storm's fear.

"Oh~ there IS something interesting here. Is that why you didn't want to go back?"

The cunning and victorious grin that crept into her lips gave Storm nightmares. His legs moved on its own as he jumped straight through the fire and sprinted towards Heeseung.

Heeseung stopped,his eyes going between Storm and Gloria,both running towards him.

Gloria's hand almost grabbed Heeseung but Storm's sword pierced through her shoulder,which gave Storm time to pull Heeseung towards him.

Gloria hissed but she had still not lost. Her eyes went to the other two men.

Jake was horrified when he saw this random chic running towards them. He only had a second to think before he threw Sunghoon out of the way. And he was easily swept away by this strange woman. To think a woman would lift him up with so much ease and put him over her shoulder like a sand bag. He was blank. What was happening? He did not come here to get kidnapped by a fucking woman?!

Gloria opened a portal and looked back at Storm with a smirk,"You know where to find me,brother"

And she disappeared with the portal.

She took a huge gamble today. Her target was Heeseung,if she could snatch away Heeseung,it was guaranteed that Storm would be coming back in a heartbeat. But what about Jake? It was a fifty–fifty bet.

"This is all my fault",Heeseung cried into his palms as he sat on the couch of the vacation house. He couldn't believe that because of him,his best friend was kidnapped. If it was just a normal kidnapping,they could even have a hope but this?!

He was literally taken to another fucking world!!

Sunghoon just sat at a side blankly,trying to realise what just happened.

Heeseung looked at Storm when he sat down beside him,looking concerned. But he says nothing. It seems like he didn't know what to say. Of course,he would struggle with words. He was never a man with comfort.

Storm seemed to be struggling with something in his mind. He tried opening his mouth several times but he closed it every time he opened it.

"I'm sorry",Heeseung cries. "Storm,I'm sorry. But please,I want to save him"

The devil looked away from him and stared at the rain outside. It was already dark and rainy.

Heeseung knew he was being unreasonable here,if he didn't go there,Jake wouldn't have been abducted,and Storm wouldn't have to struggle here today because of Heeseung's request. He had never been helpful to anyone,right? He could only add to the trouble,he thought miserably.

"Please help me,Storm"

Storm slowly glanced at Heeseung and opened his mouth again,"...You don't have to beg,Heeseung. I was already thinking of going back. But,"

"But what"

"You know it,Heeseung. I'm still trying to purify the rest of my meridians"

Heeseung looked down in defeat. How long would it really take? Just how long? Would Jake be dead by then?

As if Storm read his mind,he spoke,"There is a faster way",he murmurs.

Heeseung eyes shot opened and looked at Storm in anticipation,"What is it?"

Storm looked at Sunghoon hesitantly,the doctor getting the message,he stands up,"Do whatever it takes. I want my brother back. And I'm coming to whatever the world you two are going to take back Jake. I don't care. Or else I swear to god,I'm murdering you two"

With that,Sunghoon disappears into his bedroom before slamming the door shut. Heeseung had never seen Sunghoon this distraught. Jake was his cousin brother after all,practically brothers. And they had been hiding so many things from Sunghoon,it was fair enough that he gets upset. And he was sure as fuck that Sunghoon's threat wasn't empty.

Heeseung looked at Storm again with hope.

Storm still had a look of hesitation.

"It's alright,tell me",Heeseung says.

Storm takes a long breath before heaving,he looked straight at Heeseung's eyes before uttering the solution that breaks all this sanity.

"I might have to fuck you for days in a row. Your body,it can heal me. It can purify my meridians"

Heeseung's brain freezes.

"The closer I am to you,the faster it is. And it was even faster when I kissed you. So,I'm guessing that it would be effective more when I —you know"

Heeseung still couldn't wrap his brain around what he just heard.

"....."

Storm sealed his lips after that. It was upto Heeseung now.

"Wait what?",Heeseung asked in an almost laughing way but his smile drops when he saw Storm's serious face. "Seriously?"

Storm nods.

".....but why me? I mean,you had said this before but...you didn't say why"

Storm looked at his feet,debating whether to tell you the truth or not. He somehow had guessed it. "....maybe because you are a klotho",

Lies.

It was a lie. Storm lied.

Heeseung still had a suspicious look,but looked away slightly convinced,"Is being a Klotho makes me this nasty?"

Storm almost chokes on his saliva but he just nodded. "My mom was a Klotho too"

Silence.

It was awkward.

It wasn't Storm's intention to call his own mom 'nasty' but it just slipped through his mouth.

To lessen the tension,Storm spoke again,"My dad was nastier"

Awkward again.

"I didn't really need to know it",Heeseung whispered feeling the second hand embarrassment. "I don't really want to imagine your parents having sex now"

"...me neither"

Silence.

Heeseung shakes his head,"So....,is this the only method?"

"As far as I know. Though Sunghoon has divine hands,he is no divine doctor. He doesn't know what to do. If only sir Jackson was here...."

"Sir Jackson? Oh,I remember him. He appeared several times in the novel whenever you were heavily injured"

Storm nods,"He was my mom's doctor"

Heeseung sighed,"We don't have doctor Jackson here. Get up"

Storm looks at him questioningly.

"I'm ready to do anything to bring Jake back"
