Summer
I walk along the beech
Wave lapping my ankles
Shoes in my hands
Soaking up tranquillity
The wind plays with my hair
A seagull screams quietly
The sun rises over playful waves
Separating itself from the birthing sea
A horse approaches at a gallop
Rider moving with each stride
Running slowly across this stretch
First in then out of my mind
Turtles crawl toward the sea
Fumbling purposely onward
Changing course I walk with them
Disappearing beneath the waves
