Her voice skates across the landscape of my dreams
A face forever stamped on my mind
I cannot know her deepest thoughts
She is a symbol for my desires.

If I can only have her, reach her, talk to her
All will fall graciously into my grasp
But I am the blur in the corner of her eye
I do not exist to her.

She laughs melodically
Shivers run the length of my spine
To feel her hair, hold her hand, hold her heart
Bliss would be mine.

I cannot do it
I'm just too afraid of rejection
