Loving you is like a fire burning from within

I reach for you and feel the sting

In giving my all, I lose myself

Breaking into pieces I cannot mend.

I carry the weight of wanting you

The weight of loving you

Each step heavier than the last.

In loving you, I tear apart

And yet still, I hold on

Because letting go hurts more.
