Mine was of a different kind.
His love took away my power to think,
He took this chance to let me sink.

Everyday i believed a cold hearted lie,
Claiming he loved me,looking in the eye.
On the quest of finding love's meaning,
I let him exploit my every feeling.

He made my every fear come alive,
He tried to take away my every reason to survive.
I tried not to weep,
From the promises he couldn't keep.

I held back, hoping he doesnt hear my cries,
But he made sure tears dont stop falling from my eyes.
Gathering strength a step forward i tried to take,
Believing he was only a past mistake.

But........ He wants me back,
