{Dulcet music, alluring night
and a serene moonlight, I walk in a dimly lit lawn gazing up at the stars.

Going through my playlist for an apt song,
Suddenly i came across a song so familiar to my inner scars.}

As a thousand memories flash in my jittery mind,
I fiddle with the button,forward then rewind.
Forfeiting my strength i let the nostalgic tune play,
Subtly closing my eyes on the dusky grass i lay.

Recalling his exquisite voice singing this song,
His winsome eyes dancing with the tune all along.
The way he pulled out a ring from the strings of his guitar,
Engaging me in front of the divine moon and every heavenly star.
He ended the four minute song with a magnificent kiss,
The song was once our memory of unconditional bliss.

But tonight as the lyrics come to an end,
Our interminable distance, i again comprehend.

Every constellation was jealous of our imperishable love,
No wonder why they took him with them far above.
I open my eyes with tears rolling down my cheek,
Ironically the strength of his love now makes me weak.
But i know he will eternally love me forever long,
Because I was his favourite song ❤
