"What have you done Jenny?"

Whisper looked around. She was back in the white room.

"Jenny?"

Two figures appeared in front of her. It was Calvin and Alice Dove, her parents.

"You were sent back for a reason," Calvin said, sternly.

.

"I don't care. I don't like this woman. She is no good for Daddy."

.

"You don't have to like her. Will does."

Her Mother stepped toward her, Whisper stepped back.

"What is wrong Jenny?"

.

"You left me. For all those years I was alone, in darkness, wandering, looking for you. Where were you?"

.

"We could not find you Jenny. We did not know where you were."

Again, Alice stepped forward.

.

"You forgot me," Whisper snapped, pushing her back.

"All those years alone."

.

"No, Jenny," Alice assured her.

"I never forgot you."

.

Whisper looked around.

"Where am I? What is this place?"

.

"This is the promised place Jenny. Where we can all be together."

.

Whisper looked at her father.

"What promised place? I don't want to be with you."

.

"That is not your choice, Jenny," her father reminded her.

.

"You deserted me. Both of you did and now ...

and now, you expect me to do what you want and throw away the only person who cares about me."

.

Calvin laughed slightly.

"I think you have already taken care of that, Jenny."

.

Whisper glared at him.

"My name is ... Whisper," she snapped.

.

Calvin shrugged.

"Call yourself what you wish. You are still Jenny Dove and you still have a job to do."

.

Whisper shook her head.

"No. I will not do this."

.

"Then you stay here," Calvin informed her.

"We will send someone else."

.

"NOOOOOOO," Whisper screamed.

"I DON"T WANT TO BE HERE."

.

"But this is where you belong," her mother reminded her, gently.

"Here, with us."

.

Whisper shook her head. "No. I don't like this place. There is no Will, no Spirit, no Ghost, no Jessie or Bobby. There is nothing here."

.

Her Mother stepped toward her again, arms out, as if to hug her. "We are here Jenny. Your Mommy and Daddy are here."

.

Whisper shook her head, pointing at Calvin.

"He is not my Daddy.

Will is my Daddy."

.

Calvin's look grew cold. "Jenny, you will do what you are meant to do and then you will come back here with us."

.

"Calvin, please."

.

"No Alice, she is being a child."

.

"She is a child dear. She does not fully understand."

.

Whisper spoke up. "I understand enough. I understand that you want to take me away from the people I love and bring me here to this nothing place."

.

"Do you think you can go back now?" Calvin laughed.

"After what you have done. Do you think he will want you back?"

.

"He loves me," Whisper snapped back.

"He will forgive me."

.

Calvin shook his head.

"You have completely ruined things, Jenny."

.

"MY NAME IS WHISPER."

.

Calvin grabbed her by the arms.

"You are Jenny Dove."

He shook her slightly.

.

"CALVIN. Stop."

Alice pulled Whisper from his grip.

"This is not helping."

.

"She is defying us."

.

"She is a child. You think this is helping, your yelling?"

.

Calvin turned away.

"We should just make her stay."

.

"NO," Whisper yelled.

"I will not stay here."

.

"But this is where you belong," Alice assured her.

.

"Why do you keep saying that?"

She looked around.

"Why would I want to be here?"

.

"Because this is where we all go," Calvin informed her.

"When we die."

.

"NO. NO. I didn't want to die. I didn't want to fall off that cliff. I don't want to be dead. I want to be alive."

.

Calvin spoke. His voice harsh. "But you are dead and there is nothing you can do about it."

.

"Calvin, for the love of God. STOP."

.

"You don't love me. Why do you want me here?" Whisper snapped at Calvin.

.

"This is where you belong Jenny," Alice said.

.

Whisper shook her head. "I don't want to be here. I want to be a little girl again."

.

"But sweetie..."

.

"No, Alice," Whisper sneered, sarcastically.

"Don't tell me that I can't. I will find a way."

.

Her mother's face looked shocked. She had never called her Alice before.

"Jenny, you have to understand. There are rules."

.

"I don't care. Even if I am never real again, at least there I feel like I am."

.

"But remember what you did, Jenny. You destroyed his house. Do you think he will even want you back?"

Calvin turned and walked back to her.

"You destroyed his house and with it, the love he had for you."

.

"He loves me. He will forgive me."

Whisper started crying.

"He has to."

.

Calvin shook his head. "Your time is running out Jenny. Either you do what is expected or we will have to do it ourselves."

.

Whisper pointed a finger at Calvin, "You stay away from my Daddy."

She started breathing heavily, her face glowing red.

"You stay away from him, or you will regret it."

.

Calvin started toward her, anger in his eyes, but he never got to her.

Whisper disappeared.

.

"GET BACK HERE," he yelled.

.

Alice walked back to her husband. "Calm down, Calvin."

.

He turned to his wife, still anger in his face.

"Don't tell me to calm down, woman. She has to be taught a lesson."

.

Alice shook her head.

"You can't scare her into doing anything."

.

"No, but we can bring her back. She is our daughter and she is there for a reason."

.

"I know that dear, but because she is, shouldn't we be doing what is best for her?"

.

"This is the best thing for her."

He started walking away.

"She does not get to make any decisions."

.

"Calvin, she is happy there. Besides, she has not been our daughter for a long time."

.

"No, Alice. She will do as she is told and then she will come back here so that Will can have a normal life."

He turned back to his wife.

"It is the way it has to be. It is a part of the plan."

.

Alice looked confused.

"What plan?"

.

Calvin waved his hands at her.

"The plan of life. As it will be."

.

"Whose life, Calvin?"

.

"Will's life, of course. Isn't this what this is all about?

Will having a normal life. A life with Evangeline."

.

Alice began to walk away. "Normal? He has never had a normal life. The closest thing he has had to normal is Whisper."

.

"Her name is Jennifer Nicole Dove."

.

"No, Calvin. Not anymore."
