Bai Cao was in her room sleeping but Ting Hao was not there. He went to change his clothes.

But from outside the room, someone was looking at Bai Cao.

It was no one else but the same person who came into her room at midnight.

That person opened the door to go near Bai Cao but then he heard someone's footsteps.

Hearing the footsteps, he quickly hid behind the wall.

The person whose footsteps the guy heard, was no one else's but Guang Ya.

Guang Ya stood in front of Bai Cao's room and kept looking at her.

I am glad that you are fine, Bai Cao. If something would have happened to you, I could have never forgiven myself. I know that I was really heartless while I was fighting against you but it was because I was mad... I was mad at you... or maybe... I was mad at myself. Yeah... it's true that I was mad at myself but it doesn't mean that I was not mad at you. I was really mad at you. Why, Bai Cao? Why would you say that Chen Zhou is a bad person? Why would you say that he killed my... he killed our father? I know that there is enmity against you all and Chen Zhou but... but for once... for once you should have given him a chance.... at least for my sake. I am sure that he would have proven you all wrong. Guang Ya lowered her head and sighed. She again raised her head but with a smile and said, "Be happy, Bai Cao. This is what dad always wanted. If you are happy, I am happy too."

"If you are happy to see her happy, why don't you go back to her? You know that she will never be happy to the fullest if you are not with her. Then why don't you just go near her and hug her... at least once?" said someone from the back.

Guang Ya turned to her back. She was shocked to see that person's face.

"Senior Ting Hao!!" said Guang Ya in shock.

Ting Hao smiled and asked, "How are you, Guang Ya?"

"I am fine, Senior Ting Hao."

"Looks like you are getting discharged."

"I actually got discharged."

"Oh! That's... great. Well, why don't you answer my first question?"

"Ok Fine, Senior Ting Hao. You want me to go near Bai Cao but you tell me... why should I? You all are the ones who were against my love. You guys never accepted my love. Then you tell me, why should I be the one going to Bai Cao? I can't betray the love of my life."

Saying that, Guang Ya turned to her back and was about to take a step but before she could, Ting Hao said, "No, I never regretted loving her. Hearing that, Guang Ya smiled. She was going to leave but she stopped as she heard Ting Hao say, "But your case is different. Bai Cao is not a bad person but Chen Zhou is."

Guang Ya was about to say something but before she could, Chen Zhou came over there yelling her name.

"Guang Ya, I have been waiting for you at the parking lot," said Chen Zhou but as he saw Ting Hao there he stopped and said, "I guess, I see why it was taking you so long. Well, I will leave you guys just come whenever you are done."

"No, Chen Zhou. I will go with you." She turned towards Ting Hao and said, "Doesn't matter what you say, Senior Ting Hao, I won't change my mind. I will only believe all this if he himself comes and tell me this."

She turned back at Chen Zhou and said, "Let's go, Chen Zhou."

Then they both went from there and Ting Hao went inside Bai Cao's ward.

He sat beside Bai Cao with his hand on her hand. He kept looking at her affectionately. He had a smile on his face as if nothing happened.

"Only you make me feel at ease, Bai Cao," said Ting Hao.

He smiled and went towards the couch and slept on it but what he didn't know was that Bai Cao was still awake.

As he closed his eyes, Bai Cao opened hers and turned her face towards Ting Hao.

Thank you so much, Senior Ting Hao... thank you for choosing to love me even after my rejections. I promise that I will tell you everything about my feeling for you... but not now. It's not the right time.

Thinking that Bai Cao closed her eyes as well.

But the person who was looking at her earlier was still there looking at them.

He was wearing a black hoodie.

After looking at them for a few minutes, he went from there.

The next day, as Bai Cao opened her eyes, she saw Ting Hao sitting beside her. He was sleeping.

"What is Senior Ting Hao doing here? Was he not sleeping on the couch yesterday night? Yeah, he was... then how come he is here?" said Bai Cao in a low voice but it was not low enough to not wake Ting Hao up.

"You are awake, Bai Cao," said Ting Hao.

"I am sorry, Senior Ting Hao. I didn't intend to wake you up."

"I know, Bai Cao."

"Well, what are you doing here? Were you not sleeping on the couch yesterday?"

"Yeah, I was but I was not able to sleep so just thought to sleep beside you holding your hands because I knew that it will work and it did."

Hearing that, Bai Cao's eyes were filled with affection for Ting Hao. Ting Hao could see that affection but couldn't believe that it was true. So, he took his eyes off Bai Cao's eyes.

Seeing that, Bai Cao changed her expressions as well. That's when Chang An came over there.

"Hi, guys!!" said Chang An.

"Brother, you are here. Where is everyone else?" asked Bai Cao.

"They are coming actually they walk really slow. I think I need to make them run a mile every day from now on."

"Why do you always want to find ways to torture everyone?" asked Ting Hao.

"It's not torturing, Ting Hao. It's called training."

"Did you both fight or what?" asked Bai Cao.

"No," said Chang An and Ting Hao together.

That's when everyone else came. They all went near Bai Cao and pushed Chang An and Ting Hao to the corner of Bai Cao's bed.

"Ting Hao, why were you talking to me like that?" asked Chang An.

"I don't know."

"Whatever! Well, you didn't tell Bai Cao about Ruo Bai's condition. Did you?" said Chang An in a low voice.

"No, I have not but I will."

"Shut up, Ting Hao. Why are you stupid?"

"I am not stupid, you are. We need to tell Bai Cao about Ruo Bai," said Ting Hao in a low voice but loud enough for Bai Cao to hear them.

"Senior Ting Hao, what happened to Senior Brother Ruo Bai?" asked Bai Cao.

"Nothing happened to him, Bai Cao," said Chang An.

"Brother, I am not asking you. I am asking Senior Ting Hao. He has a mouth too, let him speak." Bai Cao turned her face towards Ting Hao and said, "Senior Ting Hao, what happened?"

"Bai Cao, you calm down first. I assure you that he will be alright."

"What do you mean by he will be alright? What happened?"

"Bai Cao, Ruo Bai had blood clots in his brain and because of the fight between him and Chen Zhou, his condition has gotten worse."

Hearing that, Bai Cao was shocked. Ting Hao could not see into Bai Cao's eyes as he was afraid to see what he didn't want to... he was scared to see love for Ruo Bai in Bai Cao's eyes. But there was guilt in his eyes as well. The guilt of not telling Bai Cao all this earlier and Bai Cao could see that guilt and fear in his eyes.

Senior Ting Hao, I know what you are going through right now. But I promise that I won't hurt you anymore.

"Senior Ting Hao, you really don't need to feel guilty for not telling me this earlier and I know that Senior Brother Ruo Bai will be fine after all he is a fighter too like us. I am not at all worried about him. I know nothing will happen to him. So, you don't have to feel guilty about anything," said Bai Cao.

Ting Hao looked at Bai Cao and asked, "Bai Cao, are you really not worried about him?"

Bai Cao smiled and said, "Indeed I am worried about him, Senior Ting Hao but I am worried about Guang Ya more. I want Chen Zhou behind bars. I think that's the thing we all should be worried about the most. Right?"

Everyone nodded as Bai Cao said that.

Then Ting Hao went near Chang An and said in a worried tone, "Chang An, I will be going somewhere. No matter what, you have to stay near Bai Cao. Never leave her alone. Okay?"

"Okay, but what happened to you? Why are you so worried?" asked Chang An.

"Come with me."

Then Ting Hao took Chang An outside the ward.

"What happened, Ting Hao?"

"I guess someone is trying to harm Bai Cao."

"What!? How do you know?"

"Actually, yesterday night when I was sleeping, I heard some noises. When I opened my eyes, I saw someone in a black hoodie standing near Bai Cao. When he saw me, he ran away.

" Who can he be?"

"Do you really need me to tell who it can be?"

"Yeah... it can be no one except Chen Zhou."

"Yeah. But we have no proof. That's why I am going to check the CCTV footage. I am sure that somewhere he would have removed his hoodie."

"Yeah and you don't worry, I will be with Bai Cao all the time."

Ting Hao nodded and went from there. Chang An went back inside Bai Cao's ward and sat beside Bai Cao. He said nothing to anyone.

On the other side, Ting Hao reached the security room.

He started looking at last night's footage but found nothing.

"How is this possible? I saw that person with my eyes but how is he nowhere in the footage?" exclaimed Ting Hao.

"Maybe that person went from all the blind spots and the ward where you were is also in a blind spot. That person can easily go inside and outside from there," said one of the staff.

Ting Hao hits the table and went from there.

As he reached Bai Cao's ward, he texted Chang An and asked him to come outside.

"Ting Hao, what happened? Did you find something?" asked Chang An.

"No. This ward is in a blind spot and the person who came inside the room last night was nowhere to be found in the footage. The staff said that he must have gone from the blind spots."

"That means this person knows where the blind spots are. It means that it is someone who has been working here for a long time or someone who set the cameras in the hospital."

"Yeah. What can we do now? We can't change the blind spots."

"Yeah, but we can change Bai Cao's ward," said Chang An while turning his face towards Ting Hao.

Chang An raised both his eyebrows twice to ask if they can do that. Ting Hao smiled and nodded to say that they can do that.

Then Ting Hao went towards the reception and asked to arrange another ward for Bai Cao.

The staff arranged another ward for Bai Cao and shifted her there but Ting Hao and Chang An still didn't tell anyone why they are doing so.

The doctor came to Bai Cao's ward to do some checkups.

"Doctor, when can I go back home?" asked Bai Cao.

"Why? You don't like the smell of the hospital?" asked the doctor.

"No, I don't," said Bai Cao directly

The doctor nodded and turned toward Ting Hao and Chang An. "She will recover soon but she has to stay in the hospital for at least a week then you can take her to your house," said the doctor.

"A week! Are you punishing me for saying that I don't like the smell of the hospital?" asked Bai Cao.

The doctor turned toward Bai Cao and said, "You can say that."

Then the doctor went from there.

"So, for a week you will be here," said Xiao Ying to tease Bai Cao.

"I can hear too, Xiao Ying," said Bai Cao angrily.

Everyone started laughing looking at Bai Cao's reaction.

Like that, six days passed.

In these six days, Ruo Bai's operation was done but because of some complications, he slipped into a coma the doctors said that he will regain his consciousness but don't know when.

Knowing about his condition everyone was really sad. Ma Li, Yi Feng's friend and Chu Yuan's junior who helped in Ruo Bai's operation earlier, came to the US from China.

She stayed beside him just like Ting Hao stayed beside Bai Cao all the time.

On the other side, Chen Zhou and Guang Ya didn't talk to each other much.

Guang Ya tried to go near Chen Zhou but he would all the time stay in the library with his right hand and Yin Xiu.

It was now the last night of the week. This means that the next day, Bai Cao will get discharged.

After having dinner, Guang Ya went to the library to meet Chen Zhou.

As she went near the door, she heard Chen Zhou yelling, "I don't know how but I want it done."

"Chen Zhou, stop shouting. What if Guang Ya hears you?" said a girl who was no one else but Yin Xiu.

Then Chen Zhou started talking in a low voice. Guang Ya could not hear anything from outside.

Guang Ya went closer to the door so that she could hear what they were talking about. And she did hear something... something which left her in shock.

A tear rolled down her cheeks as she turned back to leave from there.

She went to her room and closed the door. She pulled out her phone and was about to call someone but she stopped and thought, Should I do this? I love Chen Zhou... I can't betray him.

Then she threw the phone on her bed and went towards the window.

She kept looking at the moon but her tears were not stopping. She lowered her face and saw Yin Xiu going somewhere.

She closed her eyes and hid behind the wall.

Guang Ya, you saw nothing... you heard nothing. You can't betray Chen Zhou.

Even though she was saying all this, her tears were not stopping.

On the other side, Bai Cao was about to lay down on her bed after having dinner and that's when a nurse entered the ward.

"Sir, can you please go out for a few minutes?" asked the nurse.

"Why?" asked Ting Hao.

"Because I have to remove the stitches. Only then she will be discharged by tomorrow."

"Okay."

Then Ting Hao went out and sat on the chair kept outside the ward.

After a few minutes, the nurse came out but Ting Hao didn't see her coming out as he was talking to someone on the phone.

As the nurse came out, another nurse went inside but she was wearing a mask.

"Are you here to remove the stitches? Actually, another nurse has already done that," said Bai Cao.

"I know that. I am here to give you an injection so that you can sleep," said the nurse.

Bai Cao was shocked to hear what the nurse said. But more than the words, the nurse's voice was bothering her more.

Why is her voice sound so familiar?

The nurse could see that Bai Cao is very doubtful of her right now. So, she said with a little change in her voice, "Actually, you just got your stitches removed. It will pain a lot. So, it's just pain killer so that you will be able to sleep peacefully."

"Ok," said Bai Cao but she was still a lot doubtful of the nurse. "Well, where is the guy who stays with me here at night?"

"He is talking to someone on phone."

"Oh! Why don't we just wait for him to come back? Then you can do whatever you want. Actually, I am a little scared of injections."

"It's nothing. You won't even feel anything."

"But still, let's wait for him."

"I can't. I have other patients too. I promise that you won't feel anything," said the nurse while holding Bai Cao's hand.

Bai Cao tried to free her hand but she couldn't. The nurse tried to inject the pain killer into Bai Cao forcefully. But because Bai Cao was constantly moving her hand, the nurse could not inject it.

That's when a hand grabbed the nurse's hand.

The nurse was shocked and angry at the same time.

She turned her face towards the person holding her hand.

At this moment, she was scared more than she was angry.
