Faith's POV-

Chris has been dropping and picking me up from school since the last few days.Its been so hectic.

We have been helping Daphne and Sonia with moving. Tristan is happy that they are moving near by and that it would be easy for him to visit Sonia anytime he wants.

On top of that,we are also packing stuff.I want us to move before Raiya's birthday.She is also excited because the new house is very near Maisie's house.

She absolutely loved the house.We would be renovating it after we move in though we are already done with Raiya's room because the room that we chose for her was very dark colored.

So the past week has completed drained us.

"Mom!do I have to really eat this yogurt?Why can I not have some cookies?"

Raiya was pouting at me.It was a Sunday morning.

"Because I don't want all your teeth to fall out before you are even 20.Sweetie,yogurt and strawberries are the best breakfast combo.Look,I even made you your favorite piggy bowl."

Yes.I have been pretty creative these last few days.She has to eat healthy but I can't ignore that my daughter is just 7 right now.

"Yes.You are right.This actually looks yummy."

She smiled and started eating.

"That's nice.I had so much problems with just feeding her  one damn fruit.Coffee?"

Chris passed me a cup and I just glared at him.

Raiya smiled sweetly and passed him the swear jar.

He dropped a dollar and sat beside me.

"So,Daphne has invited us for dinner tonight.Just family.I am happy that Sonia and her are settled in now."

Chris smiled.

"Yeah.Tristan is on cloud 9.Says he will be moving in with them if Daphne allows.I doubt that though."

I rolled my eyes.

"It will be a long time before Daphne lets him live anywhere close to her.Raiya are done, sweetheart?"

She gave me a nod and then smiled.

"Mom,Dad can I take Moose out in the park.Sonia and I planned to play catch with him."

"Ok.But be safe and come back before 10.Its 9 now because we have to take you for your birthday shopping."

Chris said and she grinned widely.

"I love you both so much."

And then both of us received lots of little kisses and then she went shouting for Moose.

"She is so excited for the party."

I looked at Chris.

"Well,she is getting her Harry Potter themed party.I would giggling and vibrating on spot if I would get one of those.I can't wait to gift her all the books,I mean she is a fan of the movies.Wait till she read the books.They are so much more fine."

"You're right.I mean the movies are good but the books are just fantastic.Another potterhead in making?"

He said and winked at me.

"Can you blame her? Anyway,I wanted to take Raiya somewhere before we take her for shopping."

He lifted his brows.

"Where?"

"I'll tell you after we come back."

He just shrugged.

"Alright but take some one with you if you don't want me to come."

I shook my head.

"Chris it has been two whole weeks.Nothing has happened,the police have also investigated it.There is no one.It was just a stupid hunch."

He looked at me and then sighed.

"Alright.But text me when you reach your destination?Will you?"

"Ok.I will.Don't worry.Now go take a bath.You stink."

"Hey!I take offense to that!"

I just smiled at him.

"I don't care."

He just huffed and left for a shower.

Now that I was alone I thought for a while.

Raiya and I have been talking since the last two weeks.I have a clearer picture of how her emotions surface.

It broke my heart,I mean love kids and when I am counselling them I try to be very very careful and kind but..this child is my daughter.

It was so very difficult.

I had wrapped my hands around her as she slept in out bed for two days.She wanted to sleep between Chris and I.I was not complaining,we had snuggled in bed together as a family.

I saw her playing with Sonia and Moose outside.The girls were giggling and throwing sticks for Moose to fetch.Their innocence and childish giggles had sent a happy spark in the surrounding.

My phone rang and I looked who was calling me.

I grinned when I saw it was from Grace.

"So, how's my favorite sister?"

I rolled my eyes.

"I am your only sister,Grace.I am really good.How are the kids? David?"

I heard her sighing.

"The house has become a fish market.The baby is just as loud and screams just like Lucas when he was a baby.David acts funny with the kids,he has started teaching Lucas how to play golf.It's so funny when Luc actually hits better than Dave himself."

I could only imagine the chaos.Lucas was a very loud baby..poor Grace and David.I remember,all three of us woke up all night to stop Lucas from crying.He had screamed his little lungs off all night at the tiny age of 6 months,it was just because he wanted to not drink the milk.

Kept spiting it all out when it was necessary that he had a full tummy.And this one took after his elder brother.My nephews were a riot alright.But I love them to pieces.

"That's actually something David would do.I am not surprised though.Hey,you guys are coming for the house warming and Raiya's birthday right?"

Grace laughed loudly.

"I'll be happy to get a change of air anytime plus the kids could use a change of environment too.This time you and Jeremy take care of Lucas and Jordan."

I giggled.

"Don't worry Grace.Raiya and Sonia would keep Lucas entertained.As for the baby,I can't wait to see that chubby monster."

"I know.Hey we will be coming just a day before Raiya's birthday though.Dave has this business thing so..and I am bringing home made muffins."

I mentally licked my lips.

"And that's the perfect thing."

We talked about random things,the baby,Chris's dream house and stuff.

She hung up after 20 minutes when she heard the baby crying through the baby monitor.

Oh I just can't wait to meet my little nephew.

I heard Raiya coming inside with Moose panting and happily wagging his tail.He came licked my fingers as I gently gave him some belly rubs.

I looked at my daughter.

"Sweetie?You ready to do it?I mean you don't have to if you don't want.I know it's difficult."

She just smiled at me.

"I want to do it ,Mumma.You don't worry ok and also you are going to be there with me so I won't feel scared or nervous."

I just gave her a tight hug.

"You are so brave,baby.Come on,let's tell your dad and go on.We also have to come back before lunch.Dad's taking us out for lunch and we have to take my princess out for birthday shopping."

I smiled and pinched her nose.She giggled.

"Ok Maa."

Chris was done with his shower.He was now sitting on the bed with his laptop.

"Hey,we are going.Will be back in an hour."

He opened his mouth to say..

"Yes.Yes.I will text you when you reach our destination and will tell you all about it over lunch.Ok?"

He sighed and gave me a grin.

"Alright.I am waiting for you guys.Make it quick."

Raiya just giggled at her father while I gave him a dramatic eye roll.

The car ride was silent.I looked at my baby.She smiled at me.

"Mom,we are going to buy flowers.Right?"

I smiled.

"Of course.Lots."

We stopped at the florist's.

Raiya selected some white roses and pink lilies.While I settled for a daffodil and Jasmine bouquet.

When I stopped the car,Raiya held my hand tightly.

"You ready, sweetheart?"

She gave me a quite nod.

The place was quite.Some people were there, saying goodbye to their loved ones.Some came to talk,some were crying while some were silently staring and thinking about a past memory.

We were standing in the cemetery.And for the first time in her life,I had brought my baby to visit her mom.The woman I owed everything,for giving me Raiya.

Rayanna Crawford.

Raiya was literally holding my hand in a tight grip.Her other hand held her flowers tightly and she stared at me.

"You remember what we talked,right?Don't we nervous sweetheart.I am here,right here.And that's mom.Your mom who gave you life.Who loved you so much."

She smiled lightly as we finally came across Rayanna's grave.

Rayanna Crawford

Loving wife, daughter and mother.

Born-5th July 1986
Died-18th Anugust 2016

"Hie Rayanna.I am Faith.We haven't met before but I already know that I owe you so much.I am here to thank you for giving me such a beautiful baby girl to take care of,to love with all my heart and right now,she is also here.She loves you too."

I kept my bouquet on the grave.Raiya just kept looking at everything quietly.

Then she slowly bent down near the grave.

"Hie..mom.I am sorry.I didn't come soon to see you because I was scared.You know mom,I don't really remember you a lot but what I remember is that you always kissed me goodnight and made me little chocolate fudges.I promise I will come more.You know mom, Faith is also my mommy now.She helped me come see you and I love her a lot.I love you too,mom.Take care."

She stopped and then kept the flowers on the grave.Then she looked at me.

"See mumma,now mom will be also be happy.She knows now I remember her."

I started crying and just hugged her.

"Oh you sweet sweet girl.You are so brave and smart.I love you so much baby."

I just hugged her tight and looked at Rayanna's grave.

"Our daughter is very smart and beautiful.You must also be very proud of her as I am today.Rest in peace sister.I promise I will take care of your legacy."

When we returned home,Raiya seemed more cheerful and happy.

She had finally faced her past bravely and was free of the clutches of  negativity

Chris was ready.He was wearing a blue shirt and jean.

Raiya just giggled and hugged her father.

"You know dad,today I am very happy.I feel light and so free and everything is nice."

Chris just looked at me with raised eyebrows.

I smiled at him.

"We'll talk at lunch."

This chapter sure was something for me.

Raiya has finally received her closure.She is free and happy.

Faith has convinced and helped her face her demons and I hope she would be helpful to do it for Chris too.

The next chapter would be a continuation.
