Chris's POV-

Raiya was running around the house in her Christmas pajamas and Faith was running after her.

"Come on,you little she-devil,you are supposed to not open that present now.Baby,dont make your mom go crazy."

Faith shouted but Raiya just giggled and fiddled with the red ribbon on the wrapped box.

"I say,you make me proud.Guys,that is my niece.Yes.She learned from the best."

Tristan proudly said as took another sip of his eggnoc.That thing has some great amount of alcohol,i can bet on anything.

"If you open that gift now,i wont let daddy give you your surprise present.We still have to wait for grandma and auntie to come down.Your aunt is hurt,Raiya."

Faith glared at Raiya.At last,Raiya gave in with a little pout.

"I just wanted to open this one.Its ok,mom.I will wait for Aunt Nysa,i mean this was her present for me.Right?"

"Exactly.She got it for you and she wanted to see your reaction.Look, uncle Tristan there is shouting since you woke up to open the one he got for you.Go for it,baby."

"Ok mom.Uncle Tristan,if you did not get that new game for me..i swear i wont let you touch my PS4."

She shouted and went to my elder brother who grinned like a kid.He did get that game for her,alright.

"Hey,whats taking mom and Nysa so long?Is everything alright?"

I looked at Faith.She just shook her head.

"Nysa is fine.She just had to have a bath..Julie is helping her with that."

Oh.

"Dad is getting in his Santa costume now.Says he forgot last night,with Nysa and everything.You are in for a treat Faith,dad makes a seriously funny Santa."

She just giggled.

"I am going to snap a lot of pictures.Its not every day you see your father in law in a red clown cap and everything."

"You had to mention that..damn.Faith,get one thing in your brain,i hate clowns.They scare the living hell out of me."

She just stared at me.A 6'4 hunky muscular man scared of a clown..poor Chris.That's what she must have been thinking.

"What!Dont look at me like that.Now come and help me arrange those gifts properly.Raiya has totally created a ruckus."

I pulled her.We sat near the Christmas tree,arranging all the gifts.

"You guys look nice together.Fuck no!I sound like a neighbourhood gossip monger.I think i need to have some coffee."

Tristan groaned and got up.

"He is so dramatic.Poor woman..i mean whoever is going to end up with him."

Dad sorted his Santa cap and grinned at us.

"How do I look?Didn't really get that fake tummy so i pushed a cushion up my waist.It looks fine,right?"

"Dad!you look fine.Raiya is 7 ..she knows its you anyway.She is a smart kid."

I shook my head.My daughter is aware "Santa isn't real daddy.But i love the concept so i pretend that i dont know anything."

This was what she said last Christmas.

"Henry,you look nice.Raiya will love it even if she knows and everything.Its the effort that matters."

Faith smiled and gave him the bag which had Raiya's gifts.

"Hey Raiya!Come on,look Santa came!"

It was Nysa and mom.Nysa was more excited about Santa than anyone.As I said,my sister is the naivest person around.

"I wish Santa was real.I could have got into that marathon in Austrailia that way.My wish.."

She said and grinned at dad who just rolled his eyes.

"Come on,girl.You sit down.You are worst than babies."
Mom made her sit on the couch.

Raiya came running and jumped on dad.

"Come on grandpa.My gifts.."

She grinned.

It was chaos.She grinned like a canary everytime she opened one of the presents.

Tristan still groaned for food.

"Come on,its time for lunch.Everything smells so great,Faith.I love what you have done to the house.It looks lovely.Chris,there's a keeper you got."

Mom winked at Faith and I.

Faith just smiled.Mom went after her.They prepared the table.Damn the food looks great.Faith had prepared an insane amount of food on her own.All of it looked appetizing.Perfect.

"Mom!she just outnumbered your Christmas dishes."
Tristan was stuffing his face with roasted turkey.

"Dont speak while you have food in your mouth.Eh.Anyway,it is all so delicious.I mean i love Christmas but damn the lunch used to be so hectic.I am glad i have a daughter in law now who can finally overtake me."

Mom smiled at Faith.

"Thank you,Julie.I am glad you all like the food.Its all my sister though,she taught me everything."

"You are nice,Faith.Teach Chris and Nysa some things of the kitchen.They suck."

Tris grinned.Asshole.

"Yeah..and you won Masterchef America.Didn't you?"

Nysa hollered.

"Hey.I am still better than the two of you combined.Hey Ry,you tell me?Dad,Uncle or Auntie?Better cook?"

Raiya looked amused.

"Yeah,Uncle Tris you dont burn food like 50 percent of the time.Unlike dad and aunty Nysa with..20 and 30 percent."

I just shook my head.And yes it was true,Tristan was the better cook out of us three.He just did not like to do it often.

"Before your mommy married me,i fed you.Dont forget."

I said this to my dear daughter.

Raiya just smiled at me.

"I survived on pancakes.One thing you can cook nicely.I am glad i get to eat nicely cooked meals now.Thanks mom."

She smiled at Faith and grinned at me.That little she monster.

There was a knock on the door.

"I will see who is there?On Christmas.Did you guys invite someone?"

Mom asked Faith and I.

I looked at Faith.She shook her head.

"Ok,i'll see."

"Umm,there is a woman looking for Mr Crawford.Come and see for yourself,which one of you know her."
Mom shouted.

I rolled my eyes and looked at Tris.

"What!"

"Tris!you know not to share my address with your ...friends."

Raiya was looking at us.Curiosity etched on her face.

"Baby,you eat your lunch.Let dad and uncle go find out.Ok?"

Faith said and gave her a piece of the chocolate pie.That distracted her.

We got up.Every one followed us except Nysa and Raiya.

I was not very surprised to see who was standing infront of me.

"Umm,hie..Remember me."

I rolled my eyes and looked at my brother.

"Mr Tristan Crawford,address your guest.All Tristan mom.All him.I have never seen her."

Tris was looking at her weirdly.

"Who are you?"

The girl just looked ridiculed then smiled big.

"I have a gift for you all.Actually,i think you both would like the gift."

She looked at mom and dad who were too surprised.

Then she looked at Tris.

"Not too sure about you though.Anyway,wait for 2 minutes.Its in the car."

She left us there on the porch.Faith looked at me.

"I think i know what is happening.."

"Really,Faith!Please explain if you have discovered the mystery.I dont even remember that one."

Mom smacked him upside his head.

"I cant believe i gave birth to a walking STD."

The girl returned with a...Tristan Crawford fucked up big time.

"Yeah i knew this was it."

Faith shrugged and i looked at her wide eyed.Tristan looked like he was about to faint.

"By the way i am Daphne.Tristan and I met in Indiana.He was there for a shoot.Anyway,meet Sonia.Congratulations Tristan,you are a father."

Mom and Dad just stood still.

Sonia smiled big.The girl was about Raiya's age.She had long brown hair and bright blue eyes.Damn,she is really my brother's kid.

"Hello.I am Sonia.Nice to meet you all.I am 7 years old.I believe you are my dad?"

She blinked at Tris who just gulped.

"Join us for lunch.Come on in."

Mom practically took Sonia and pulled her inside.Dad followed her.She then turned around and wishpered to me"Sort it out"

I looked at Faith.

Faith's POV-

Anything but a normal Christmas.

"I am so sorry.Its just all of this is so sudden..I am Faith.His wife"

I pointed at Chris.

"I mean Tristan's sister in law."

"Yeah,I am Christian Crawford.Please sit down.My brother is just..in shock."

"Oh believe me i get that one.Reason why i came almost 8 years later.He said he despised kids and could not tolerate the whining when we first met."

She blinked at us.The jab was at Tris who was staring at her like she was some alien.

"Ok,you drop the bomb that I have a daughter 8 years late.Now you are mocking me.Lady,you got to be kidding me!"

Tristan finally said.

"Well,Merry Christmas to you too darling."

She rolled her eyes at him.Believe me i found that funny.Chris even laughed a little.

"I believe you guys were having lunch.Can i join?"
She asked.

"No you cannot!"

Tristan said.

I glared at him while Chris just smiled uncomfortably.

"Tristan,shut up!Come on Daphne.We have plenty of food.I want to meet Sonia too."

I pulled Daphne with me to the dining room.I believe if she would have been there with Tris,it would have ended up in blood.

Chris stayed with Tristan.Probably to calm him down and everything.

Sonia was sitting quietly and was trying to interact with Raiya who was very chatty.Thats my daughter for you guys.

Henry and Julie were smiling.Nysa looked shocked,then she looked at us.

"I believe you are the..Sonia's mom."
She said.

"Yeah.That would be.You must be Nysa.Right?I remember Tristan mentioning you when we met."

"Yeah..its a surprise to behold though.Uhh.Umm Sonia,i am auntie Nysa.You look lovely in that pink top."

She started having a conversation with the little girl who was shyly talking.

Raiya then jumped up and came near me.

"Look mom,i have another cousin now.First it was Lucas and Jordan and now Sonia.Grandma told me she was my sister and uncle Tristan's daughter.I am so happy."

I smiled at her.My baby was so adorable.She then looked at Daphne.

"Hello,I am Raiya."

Daphne smiled brightly.

"Hie sweetie.God you are so cute.So do you like Sonia?"

Raiya shrugged.

"She is sweet.Shy..but now she has met me.Well,she wont be shy for long."

I glared at her.She just gave me an innocent smile and hopped back on her chair.

"I am so sorry.."

I started but Daphne stopped me.

"No no.Its ok.The girl has spunk.She is so adorable.My Sonia is too shy,I think Raiya would bring the devil out of her.Atleast i hope so.I love naughty kids."

Wow.Thats one hell of a situation.Cool.

"Umm..hie I am Julie and this is Henry.Tristan's parents.I believe we should have a serious discussion about this after lunch..but one thing is clear,we dont need a DNA test from you.Sonia..looks just like a female version of a 7-8 year old Tristan.Trust me."

"Yeah.God,if Tris was to be a girl he would have looked exactly like her."

Nysa said.

Henry just smiled.

"I am glad you atleast came around.She is a beautiful child.I know Tristan can throw a pretty wild impression."

Daphne just shrugged.

"I was living in guilt and shame for the past 7,almost 8 years.She used to ask about her dad.I just ignored her questions but i could not do that anymore.You see, Tristan did not really leave a good impression.I never wanted to see him after our encounter.But my baby deserves to know her dad..and maybe Tristan can also do with a chance.If he ever decides to come around.Now that he knows about her."

"He will come around.Trust me,he loves Raiya.Practically spoils her whenever he visits.I dont know what he said before but now he definitely has a soft spot for kids.Sonia is so lovely,he wont be able to hold back.Plus,he is there outside,with Chris who must be giving him a long lecture.My husband is one of the best fathers i have seen and he has a pretty good influence on people.Believe me."

I smiled at her.I think my in laws were not too mad at her..or even if they were,they were behaving in a very matured way.

Because this situation was anything but calm.

Chris came back with a comparitively calm Tristan.He was looking at Sonia like he could not believe she was even real.

"Hey kids,can you come help me to the room.Raiya come on..Sonia sweetie,you come too."

Nysa smiled at the girls who obliged and helped her.When they were out of our sights Tristan finally broke his silence.

"Come on Daphne from Indiana.Now we talk!"

He sat on a chair across Daphne with a very serious expression.
I looked Chris who gave me a look of "I tried my best."

I groaned.This was going to be a beautiful Christmas day.

Hello my loves.Sorry for the long pause.Corona is f*cking up the world and i literally cannot function due to the lockdown.I am seriously losing my sanity during these last few days.I just feel so trapped and my emotions are just everywhere.I know its very important to stay indoors,no i am not denying that..but i feel like some one has caged me or something.Its hard.Hope you guys are doing well..i know we are all in a tough situation.I hope to god,he gives us strength to overcome this global hurdle.
