Damnit, he was so wrong. And that's why it was so much easier for me to watch him die.

Katie Anderson is her real name, but don't be fooled by another title. She's ruthless, dangerous and sexy, but she's a killer. Assassin. Murder. Whatever you want to call it. She needs money, and to get it she does her work, taking out each and ever target ever given to her, never having failed.

Enter Jacob Bail, who secretly does the exact same thing as Katie; Kills. When the two meet, a bond quickly grows. Jacob becomes one of the only people Katie trusts, and the trust goes both ways.

When problems occur and both Katie and Jacob lose everything, they're desperate for a job. Struggling to rise to their prior rank on top of the human food chain, they're willing to do nearly anything.

But when each of them get a call, they're horrified to find that their targets are each other.

So what happens when the only way to survive, is to take the life of the only living thing you care about? And who the hell is turning them against each other, wanting both of them dead?

Survival of the fittest. Kill or be killed. So who's going to make it out alive?
