Chapter 9

3rd Person POV

Keefe kept his arms firmly wrapped around Sophie when images started flooding into his head. He couldn't help but slightly peek through his eyelids to see his friends at the door, spying on the couple. Keefe was about to snap at them to get out, but decided he would play it quiet and watch what they were going to do so he could tease them about their failed attempt at a prank.

He watched Biana slowly open the door and wave the rest of the group into the room. They walked in, Tam rolling his eyes and Linh biting her lip in nervousness. Keefe followed the group with his blue eyes, watching as they walked toward the couch they were currently lying on. He couldn't turn over so that he could see what the group was doing, but he could hear what they were saying from behind him.

"You get the water? I'll get the ice?" Biana asked.

"Yep, come on Tam," Linh said, and Keefe spotted them walking out of the room. He also heard Biana shutting the door to the bathroom. So, Keefe slipped his hands under Sophie's gown, softly stroking her stomach. Her eyes groggily opened and she turned to him, giving him a soft smile.

"Good morning sleepy head," he teased. She groaned, rolling her eyes. Keefe heard the Vacker siblings beginning to talk louder in the bathroom, the water from the facet slowing down. Keefe slowly helped Sophie to her feet, walking the sleepy girl over to the back door. They quickly exited, Keefe explaining what was happening on the way out. He hid her in the bushes, sitting down next to her and watching Linh and Tam run past them. They ran into the house, and Keefe waved his girlfriend to stand up to the window. She slowly got to her weak legs, watching as the two groups met at the couch. They didn't seem to have their buckets, and Sophie spotted the Vacker siblings bucket at the door of the bathroom. She looked over at Keefe and he gave her a smirk, nodding. They both closed their eyes reaching out with their minds. Sophie picked up the Song twins bucket while Keefe picked up the water bucket since he had better grip with his telekinesis. She quietly raised the bucket, Keefe doing the same, and brought it over the confused pair of siblings. She eyed Keefe and he nodded.

They both flipped their buckets over, dumping the content on the siblings.

Keefe burst out laughing and Sophie grinned as the siblings stood in the living room in shock. their eyes went to the window where the couple was doubled over laughing.

"Stupid couples," Fitz mumbled, running a hand down his wet face.
