Jai was continuously looking at his wife and babies back to back. He couldn't take in the view that still felt like a dream for him. Vennela was shifted to the room and after few hours their babies were also shifted. All of them were taking a nap. She was exhausted after what it felt like a roller coaster ride. Her body pained like hell and and all she needed was sleep.
He caressed her hair until sleep consumed her. She wanted to wait see babies after shifting them but Jai insisted her to sleep.

Both of the tiny bundles were wrapped in soft white cloth and he felt they were sleeping on clouds itself. They looked peaceful. Even though their family members were adamant on staying at the hospital, he sent them with his babai since they had to have food and medicines and its been long since they were present at the hospital. Only Lakshmi stayed with them.

After an hour, he saw his princess waking up giving a tiny yawn which he found adorable.
She made a tiny cry voice and soon she was in her father's arms which comforted her and made her sleep again with his gentle rocking. Lakshmi was all smiles.
He walked in the room enjoying each moment of his fatherhood. Jai carefully looked at his sleeping princess. Its too early to predict whom do they look similar to ...but one thing he was sure that, she got her amma's lips, naturally pink and cute.

"Ba...va.."
Vennela whispered slowly waking up after 15 minutes.

"Yes bangaruu.."

He swiftly came beside her after keeping their baby gently back on the crib.

He made her sit comfortably.

"Umm...I need to pee..." she said tiredly.

Jai nodded and carried her to the washroom in his arms for which Vennela would have smacked him which she felt as stunts infront of parents had she been energetic.

He made her sit on the commode. She felt pain while urinating just after delivering two healthy babies.

She frowned , he held her closer to his tummy , rubbing her back.

"Paining ?"

She nodded weakly and gave some painful moans which made his heart wrench. She squeezed his hands tightly while doing it.

He cleaned and placed her back on the bed gently.

Just then his princess started wailing. He picked her and sat beside Vennela giving baby in her arms.

She smothered soft kisses on her face.

"Our princess❤"

Jai smiled nodding .

"What happened to my baby ? Are you hungry ..😘"

she talked sweetly kissing her tiny frame.

"Vennu... she must be hungry you need to feed her"

"Yes thats right" He agreed.

Jai helped her by holding the baby while she adjusted her dress.

That was when she noticed the balloons and warm welcome that he has arranged for them. Her eyes welled up with unshed tears.

"Bava...you are the best. Do you know ?" She said looking around the room.

"And so are you❤"

Vennela smiled.

For a day, he never left their sides always attending to their needs.

"Bava.. i feel like having payasam now...😗"

"I'll prepare for you when we reach home"

"But i want now.. it will take lots of time.😥"

"No bangaram.. We are discharged already , let me settle the bill and we can go back home.
Everyone is waiting at home to welcome us"

"I heard Pallavi has already made payasam.☺"

Lakshmi said while rocking the baby boy softly.

She smiled.

They got discharged and he settled the bill.

In his arms were their baby boy while Vennela held the baby girl as she walked slowly still not completely recovered from her delivery.

Jai supported her with his one arm.

Lakshmi gave them space as they were new parents and she herself remembered that when Vennela was born , she didnt give her to anyone else. Now her daughter is a mother of two. She looked proudly at her.

Babai drove back and reached Jai's and Vennela's heaven in fifteen minutes.

Everyone was waiting for them. They got down the car and walked towards the door.
Pallavi did an aarathi around them and applied a small dot of sandalwood paste on both of the parents' and babies' forehead.

Jai and Vennela stepped in together blissfully with their symbols of love. The living room and everywhere was decorated giving them a warm welcome.

They reached infront of his mother, Latha's smiling portrait.

Their eyes filled up with tears. Vennela held his hands assuring him to be calm.

"Amma..how you wished to see your grandkids everytime you used to say right..now they are here. But you ....aren't..." his voice cracked up and few tears rolled down his eyes.

Vennela was in the same state too.

Lakshmi came forward and made them calm.

Deva's eyes welled up too. He wiped it secretly with his palm.

"Jai ..vennu...you know what Latha is seeing everything from heaven. She is so much happy."

" And you all have her blessings always☺"

Deva said.

They smiled a bit nodding.

"Bless our babies, amma."

At that moment, their baby boy woke up from his sleep.

"My baby boy is awake😍😘..see nanamma.."

Jai slightly shifted his tiny frame towards the photo.

He gave a tiny yawn followed by a cute smile.

"Awww... he understood his nanamma already, bava.😍"

Vennela's and Jai's eyes brimmed with happy tears.

"Now go and take some rest .." Pallavi insisted.

"But my payasam...😗" she pouted.

"Oh yes.. i forgot that..I'll bring now🤭"

"Ok .."

she sat on the couch with sleeping baby girl in her arms while boy was in Vennela's father's arms.

Lakshmi took the baby girl slowly making space for Vennela to have her payasam. She moaned in delight tasting it. Jai smiled.

"Its so tasty chinnatha...its been so long i had this.."

"Thats why i made for you.☺"

Jai also had seeing Vennela happy and babies being pampered by their granparents.

Later they went with babies to their room and when they opened the room was decorated elegantly. The crib already ready. There were metallic balloons placed near their bed and 'welcome home, babies' written in pink and blue banner was attached to the wall. Soft fluffy cushions were placed on the bed and a basket full of babies' clothes and essentials were placed on the bedstand.

Jai and Vennela were suprised.

"Bava....who did this...😳😍"

"I dont know.. 😮"

"Then both of you turn back."

They turned around hearing a familiar sound.

"Manasa!!!😳😍" Both of them exclaimed at the same time surprised.

"Surprise...😂" she chuckled and hugged them together.

"Did you arrange all this ?"

"Any doubt ? I couldnt come to hospital yesterday..so i came early morning today😌"

They smiled.

"My cutie patootie babies...😍😘😘" Manasa leaned closer and kissed both of their cheeks softly.

"Both are sleeping..😗" she pouted.

"They will wake up soon, Manasa. You can take them then.☺" Jai said.

She nodded pouting.

They kept babies on the bed softly. Manasa adored them and clicked their photos on her phone.

"I missed you vennu. After baby shower , i could only visit you today"

"Yes. Should i not talk with you for that?😌"

"Noo..please talk with me...sorry..😥😗" she pouted holding her ears.

"Ok sorry accepted..😂" they chuckled together.

"Ahem...😒" Jai coughed grabbing attention of the ladies.

"Cant you see me standing here?"

"Yes so what?😌" Manasa asked.

"Huh ? So what ah ? I need to be with my babies and my wife."

"You were with them till now. Im borrowing your wife and babies for sometime. Go talk with others.😂"

Vennela laughed slowly seeing Jai's grumpy face.

"Manasa.... I'll sent you to palnaadu soon... 🤨"

" Im not going soon for another 2 days.."

"Why 2 days? Stay for some more days no.." Vennela asked her..

"See your wife wont let me go..😝"

She sticked out her tongue.

"These ladies ..carry on...🙄" he rolled his eyes and went outside.

Both of them chuckled seeing him walking away.

"Did you have payasam?"

"Yes i had vennu..."

"Umm...actually i wanted to say something vennu.."

"What is it ?😀" She asked smiling.

"My engagement plans are on the way ..."

"Whatttt!!!!😱" She screamed softly.

Manasa widened her eyes...

"Calm down.. 😶"

"Why didnt you tell me this ?"

"I told only a few days back at home "

"Who is the guy ?"

"His name is Ram... "

She showed his photo in her phone.

"Aahan.. he is good looking...how you both fell in love ?☺"

"When i was practicing in hospital as an intern, Ram was a senior there."

"Ohho..hospital romance huh.. 😉" Vennela teased making Manasa blush.

"So how was the reaction of family?"

"Actually i was scared to tell them. But Poorna had already seen us together in a mall and i had to reveal everything. With his support i said this matter. They accepted which surprised me, 2 days later Ram came home and everyone liked him. Thats how... "

Vennela smiled holding her hands,

"Im so happy for you"

Just then Lakshmi came to the room.

"Vennu..we have to give a traditional bath for you"

"Im too tired for a bath, amma..😫

"This girl..you are mother of two babies ..when would you grow up ? We are going to bath you. Its a ritual"

Manasa chuckled.

"You dont laugh Manu.. you'll face similar situations in the future"

Manasa blushed thinking about their future.

Vennela chuckled.

"Im preparing hot water for you. Come let me oil your hairs"

Soon Vennela was taken to oil hair and bath.

While Jai was with the babies...Vennela had to come in between before her bath because they had woken up from their nap and felt hungry wailing for their mother.

She was bathed after applying a paste on her body made of chickpea flour, turmeric and milk.
The hot water was boiled with mango, neem and lemon leaves which had many healing properties. Vennela felt so better after the much needed bath even though she was lazy at first. A cotton saree was also wound around her belly inorder to keep her uterus back in place after delivery.

The ladies dried her hair with sambrani dhoopam. Jai wanted to do that to her. But he had to look after babies.

He applied sindoor on her hair partition and kissed on her forehead. She closed her eyes feeling content.

"You look drop dead gorgeous.... god...give me some control..💘"

"You always say this bava..😗"

"Because you are.. my love❤"

Vennela fisted her palm on his chest and rested her head there.

Later she was fed nutritious savouries made of sesame seeds, dry nuts etc.

"Bava..can you help me have these snacks...they keep feeding me lots..😗"

Vennela pouted.

"Its for your good bangaruu.. these are for strengthening the bones and muscles of your body"

"Haww... my mouth is hurting eating everything.."

"Only you have had few things bangaram...i know your antics ..😂"

"Lunch is ready.." Manasa announced.

"Again ?!!! 😫😱"

Jai chuckled..

Pallavi, Lakshmi and Manasa cooked Vennela's favourite dishes. They had arranged a scrumptious meal.

"Wow.. you all worked so much... these much wasnt necessary..its a lot atteya.." Jai's mouth watered seeing all dishes.

"Because we want you all to have a good meal. Now wash hands and come."

All of them had a scrumptious meal while the babies were in their grandparents' arms.

Vennela burped and giggled which made Jai and Manasa giggle too.

"Im satisfied now..the dishes were so tasty amma and chinnatha... 😍"

"I second that.☺" Jai smiled.

"We are glad when you all are happy and satisfied."

All smiled.

It was around 2 am in the early morning and they heard another wail which was of the baby girl's. Its the third time at night Jai and Vennela was waking up.

"Lay down..I'll get the baby." She nodded, tired.

He went towards the crib and gently rocked the baby making her calm down a little bit.

Jai placed the baby girl near her mother as Vennela adjusted her nighty and fed her.

He just watched them smiling and slightly massaged the baby's body and Vennela's head back to back. She smiled receiving all the love and support from her husband.

"Bava ..your daughter is waking up for the second time ..naughty girl.😘" She kissed her tiny body and pampered.

Jai chuckled.

"I know bangaruuu..☺"

After the baby was done, he slowly rocked the baby into sleep and placed gently in the crib and came back to his wife.

She kept her head over his chest slowly. He wrapped his arms around her.

"Tired right?😘"

"Hmm...the sirens are off now..they would wake up soon.. 🤭"

Jai giggled.

"Yes..i know ..before that let us catch some sleep..☺"

Vennela nodded and slept off soon as she was so tired. Jai kept caressing her hair , watching her face.. even though she was tired, the motherly glow emanating from her face was enough to put the moonlight to a shame.

Soon he too fell asleep thanking god for all the happiness.
