The day before wedding was so much rush for everyone. It was the wedding of their princess with her prince charming. The whole village itself was called to be a part of their wedding. Vennela was familiar to each and everyone in the village. Despite coming from a wealthy background, she used to be down to earth to elders. She literally was all of their daughter. Even though she had done so much mischievousness in her younger times, a part of it was secretly enjoyed by the neighbours. No one can ever hate her.

Although Jai had reached into this scene more late, that didnt make him any less infront of the villagers who saw him as the son of their leader.
He was also very down to earth and easy to go person who mingled with everyone. Helped people with whatever he could and worked for the prosperity of the village whom he considered as his own home. He felt warmth and solace from the surroundings of the village. A much needed break from his hectic life. Like god sent, Vennela entered into his life, unknowingly she became his everything. Little small gestures and talks, they were madly in love with each other. The separation was heartbreaking, but it bonded them more stronger than ever. Now she is going to be his wife in less than few hours.
She has finally found her man. This gem of a person.

His wit, charm and graciousness made her fall for him even more than his handsomeness.

"You can dream later, vennu...now its time for your mangala snanam (holy bath)"
Manasa enlightened a Vennela who was day dreaming with a smile etched on her face.

"Offo! So soon! 😒" Vennela frowned while tying her long hair into a bun as only just before Kavya and Manasa did a facial to her.

Manasa chuckled.

"Its a matter of half and hour. After that you can take some beauty sleep😉" She winked.

"Really ? I badly need some sleep. Its been quite a few days since we have been busy...especially me who is the scapegoat of all this"

"Who else other than the bride ?😂" Manasa pulled her cheeks making Vennela twist her ear.

Their little banter was disturbed by Jai who came near her room door.

"Jai ? You here ?" Manasa raised her eyebrows teasing him.

"Uh..i was going to fetch some things, thats when i thought to you know..check on her"

"Oh come on Jai, dont be so desperate"

Vennela chuckled loud seeing him getting caught.

"Nothing like that ok ? And what if I'm? She is going to be my wife😏"

"But she is not your wife now😜"

Vennela sticked out her tongue at Jai which made him irritated and he ran fingers through his hair.

"Haha.. just teasing you, Jai. I came here to call her for mangala snanam. Anyways since you are here for her, I'll give space for you two. Otherwise you will sent me to hell cursing me"

"Better" Jai mumbled.

"What ?"

"Nothing. You go and have sweets"

"Dont have to butter a lot. Vennu come soon to bath area. Jai is not supposed to meet you now and all before wedding. Be careful before anyone finds out"

She said fast and stepped out of their room even before she saw them nodding.

Jai closed the door behind them and approached her.

"You're glowing bangaram😍"

"Just before they did a facial for me. Maybe that's why☺" She smiled.

"No. Not that..your happiness is making you glow😍" he cupped her face.

"Of course I'm happy, bava. The moment we have been waiting for🤩"

"Yes.. you had breakfast bangaram ?"

"Yes bava. You also had right ?"

He nodded.

"I just felt like seeing you as my friends have gone around to explore the village"

"Ohh.." she chuckled tucking a loose strand ot hair behind her ear which made Jai smile.

"So.. ? You are going for snanam ?"

"Yes ..Manasa came to call. Amma will twist my ear if i dont go soon"

"Haha😂 I know. Where is the snanam ? Near the pond on the backyard of our home ?"

"Why ?😆" Vennela smiled mischeviously seeing the route of words Jai was taking.

"Uh.. to.. make sure you aren't watched by anyone else"

"Then I've to cover your eyes first😝"

"Too bad. Why can't we bath together ?"

Vennela's eyes widened.

"Crazy bava. Its a ritual bath. We can ...umm...do that after we are married🙈" She bent her lashes down when the shyness crept her.

"Yeah that time I'll make sure that you will get such a princess treatment. I've made our room door and windows sound proof....😉😏" he winked.

"Offo this man....😳we can discuss all that later. Now let me go"

She tried to walk pretending to sound normal as she was feeling unknown sensations inside her at his words.

Jai blocked her and pinned to the nearby wall.

His hot breath fanned her face as his intense gaze made her burn in its dark embers.

She blinked, the proximity was so intimate for her to handle.

"I might not see you after this today ...so i need something from you to remember till tomorrow"

"Huh ?" Her confused voice came out as a sweet whisper.

In the nick of time, Jai pressed his lips on hers and started kissing softly.

"Ummm...😳" Vennela gasped at first but her hands went into his soft hair and clutched it pulling him closer intensifying the kiss.

Jai groaned, the vibrations sending down her.

"I would love to continue this.. but you have to go now bangaram" Jai said reluctantly not wanting to leave his sweetheart.

Vennela clutched his shirt in her fist and nodded.

"If you need something then just call or message me"

"You"

"Me ? What ?"

"I need you only"

Jai raised his eyebrows surprised making her cover face with her palm.

"You will get me from tomorrow to an eternity.
Be ready for me since you've asked it on your own, baby😏"

"Make sure that your throat is fit enough to scream lots.😉"

"Ayyo..bava... please...go now🙈"

She pushed him towards the door. He chuckled and went out after making sure no one was watching him.

Vennela headed towards the bath area smiling with a blush.

Vennela was made to sit on a wooden chair, her long thick hair was oiled before an hour already. She was surrounded by her mother, chinnatha, Manasa, Kavya and few other relatives.

They applied turmeric sandalwood paste all over her face, neck ,arms and legs.
Later the ladies poured water mixed with herbs through a sieve over her head while Vennela sat there smiling occasionally.

She wore a fresh set of clothes later. Similarly Jai also had to go through this process conducted by men.

The wedding day was in few hours and after having the dinner early, everyone retired to the bed making sure that each of them got proper amount of sleep.

"Good night bangaram. Enjoy your single life for today. Im putting it an end for it tomorrow. And your bedside won't be empty from the next day onwards. All the best, baby. Hopefully everything goes well tomorrow🤞🏻❤"

Vennela smiled reading his message.

"All the best to you too bava. Enjoy your bachelor life today. Because your chest is going to be my pillow from tomorrow. I'm praying to god that everything should go well tomorrow. I can't bear any such thing like the previous time😔😇"

In the nick of time, Jai saw her message and replied back.

"Everything will go fine. Amma has blessed us☺"

"Yes. Atteya is with us"

He sent her a heart while she reciprocated the same as they fell asleep praying in their mind for a better tomorrow.

Wedding bells rang in the early morning. The house bustling with excited faces. Flowers decorated everywhere around, the fragrance of incense enveloped the surroundings.
Both the bride and groom woke up with the happiest faces, making them glow even more. They had a bath and started preparing for the ceremony.

A group of ladies, cousins and friends surrounded Vennela to make her as the prettiest bride ever. Her usual chirpiness was replaced with soft smiles and shyness. As they did minimal make up on her face and draped saree for her, she couldnt help but think of her man.

She was made to wear few golden accessories- Dainty jhumkas, two elegant neckpieces and few golden bangles on each hands.Jasmine flowers adorned her long braided hair. A tiny shining nose pin made her look even more gorgeous on her flawless nose. Engagement ring and additional two more rings wound around her tender fingers. A golden anklet framed her delicate feet.

Lakshmi looked at her daughter with unspoke emotions, her eyes welling up with tears.
Vennela hugged her mother close.

"My girl is so big now. Ready to get married"

"Amma... i know I've been mischievous since young. But thank you for giving all your love and support for me. Dont worry amma, I'm in safe hands🙁"
Vennela choked a sob.

"I know thats why I'm at peace. This is both of your home. You can come here anytime. We are just... going to miss you both"

"We will come whenever possible amma. I also dont wanna leave the place where i grew up. But all girls has to face this at some point right. I will call you everyday to eat your ears ok ?😢"

"Okay..😆"

Lakshmi chuckled at her and went to their room to get dressed up leaving Manasa and Kavya with her.

"Done. Well packed for Jai😋" Manasa spoke gleefully trying to ease her mood earning a smack from Vennela.

"Ouch ! Give all these smacks to your husband"

"Exactly. How pretty my bestie is ! Jai couldn't keep his eyes off her😍"

"In normal situations itself, he cannot keep his eyes to himself. Asking excuses trying to meet his lover like a lovesick puppy😉" Manasa uttered.

"Hey dare you talk bad about my bava😑" Vennela glared playfully.

"Abbo...already she is on wife mode. What would happen after their wedding?!"

"What else ? We will get to hear the news that we going to get promoted as aunts real quick😉"

Now Vennela was fed up with their useless talking. She twisted both of their ears.

"You both are incorrigible ! Remember I'll get the chance too. I'll show you both then😏"

"Lets see😉" They winked and talked for sometime.

Later photographer came and took her individual photos along with friends and cousins.

The poojari was chanting mantras. An impatient Jai was sitting before the holy fire, wearing white panche and shirt - its sleeves rolled up till his elbow making him look handsome as ever in the traditionals.

"Hey brother, make sure to give us a separate treat rather than enjoying with your wife ok ?"

One of the friends whispered in his ear.

Jai rolled his eyes while smirking.

"Please give some rest to the poor girl ok..she must be exhausted after all this😂" Vivek uttered in his ear earning a jab from Jai.

Deva, babai, Vennela's father and every men and women were greeting the guests. Every faces had a smile etched on their faces. Aroma of wide variety of delicacies wafted through the air making their mouth water.

"Now, call the bride. Its time for muhurtham"

Jai composed himself finally and looked around.

"Oh look at his impatient eyes..." he heard his friend saying, but ignored.

His office colleagues smiled and chuckled looking at their strict boss.

He heard the sounds of anklets, bangles accompanied by giggles from the girl gang and traced his eyes to that direct. There...there was his sweetheart walking down the aisle dressed up in a beautiful silk saree, her face had a tint of blush. The chadar (canopy of flowers) over her head held by babai, Nagulu and her cousin brothers signified that she had been raised with love and care. In her minimal makeup, she walked extravagantly and that made her look nothing less than ethereal. She was divine. He loved how elegant and breaktaking she was in that silk saree.

Her pretty curious doe-like eyes met his and the moment freezed before them. It was only two of them conveying lots of love and emotions of joy through their eyes.

She sat beside him. Jai inhaled sharply - the floral scent mixed with hers was driving him crazy.

He playfully started caressing her toes like the last time. But this time, Vennela sat there with a bold face and caught his toe in hers, playing a sweet game of their own. Before people could notice they composed themselves loosing in the mantras while occasionally stealing glances at each other.

"Now its time for the groom to tie thaali around the bride's neck" Poojari announced.

Jai's smile widened as he held the thaali passed onto him. Vennela looked at him reciprocating an equal smile mixed with love and joy.

Both of them stood up, Vennela's hair was adjusted by her mother making it easy for Jai to tie the thaali around her.

Nadaswaram excitedly played in the background while Jai prayed in mind for his mother's blessings too.

He tied the thaali around her neck three times making her eyes water and before her tears could fall down, Jai contained it in his fingers and rubbed it off.

Everyone showered flowers and rice on them as a symbol of good fortune and a prosperous marriage.

Jai took a pinch of sindoor and adorned it in her hair partition officially making them as husband and wife together. They exchanged garlands around each other.Vennela was happy and content, everytime she prayed in mind for their prosperous marital life.

After the kanyadaan done by her father, he held her pinky fingers in his and walked around the holy fire taking the vows of marriage. Everyone was so happy for the couple. Lakshmi's eyes were welled up with tears. Deva was equally happy for both of them as this time everything happened well without any obstacles.

Jai bent down and inserted toe rings on her both her second toes.

Vennela looked at him with so much love. As he stood beside her some of the people commented that they were the perfect couple.

Vennela was restless in her sleep. She tossed and turned everytime looking at the clock. Looking beside her, she saw her husband sleeping sound.

"Kumbhakarna !😒" She muttered and rolled her eyes. But she couldn't help adoring him as her motherly instincts kicked in when all she visualised was her husband sleeping like a baby.

She smiled and kept her head on his chest making Jai automatically keep his arms around her.

Again looking at the watch, she saw there was 10 more minutes to pass.

Vennela kept on doodling patterns with her fingers softly on her husband's chest.

Finally the clock struck 12 am.

"Bava..."

"Bava..."

She kept on calling him but he was in a deep sleep.

"Offo ! This man.. bava wake up...🤨" she whisper yelled in his ears as babies were sleeping.

He didnt budge.

Finally she bit his earlobes making him open his eyes wide in reflex.

"Bangaruu..what's it ??!! You scared me...😑😶" He uttered groggily.

"Happy first wedding anniversary bava !😀" Vennela wished him gleefully making him look at the clock and back at her.

Jai pulled his wife closer and planted a kiss on her head.

"Happy first wedding anniversary to you too bangaruuu...i can't believe this one year passed too soon. I just feel it like we met yesterday and fell in love at first sight😘❤"

"Me too bava.. we are promoted as parents now. We have two little munchkins of our own😍"

"Yes bangaruu. I love you for coming into my life and making it so much bright and colourful😍"

"I love you too husband. I love you more than you can imagine😘" She twisted his moustache playfully and pecked on his lips.

He gave her a cheeky smile and caressed her hair.

"We are going to temple tomorrow" Jai announced softly.

"Really ?😀" Vennela was so happy.

"Yes. Get ready in morning, first time with babies to the temple.😇"

"Thats right. God will bless our babies☺" She hugged him tight and slept in his warm embrace.

Vennela woke up and finished bathing in morning while Jai was engaged with babies playing with them on the bed.

He kept pillows around the bed making a protective wall for babies and took a packet from the cupboard.

"Bangaram..this is for you" He placed it on her hands making her surprised.

She opened the present immediately and saw a beautiful red silk saree.

"Wow, bava....its so beautiful. I thought you must have forgotten this day.😗" She pouted.

"I cannot forget our wedding day, ever bangaruu. And i cannot wait to see you in this saree😍"

She smiled, took her gift from the cupboard and gifted him.

"What's this ?"

"Open and see.."

Jai saw a black shirt with panche inside.

"When did you select this ?🤩" He asked suprised.

"I went with Radha a month ago leaving amma with babies for an hour. I made babies sleep and came back soon after selecting☺"

"I love you and loved this too😘" He kissed her forehead making her smile.

Jai took a bath too and helped in bathing babies with his wife.

After that, he draped saree for her making her blush, smile and admire him. Applying sindoor on her, he looked at her perfect face and cupped in his palms. Vennela raised her eyebrows smiling.

"Nothing. You are looking so much beautiful after giving birth to our babies☺❤"

"Thank you. Are you upto something buttering me so much ?😉" She winked.

"Let's postpone it to some other time. For now enjoy my compliments😏"

"Notorious" She mumbled and sat on the bed while Jai dressed up looking handsome as ever.

Vennela dressed up babies in their comfortable onesies.

"Handsome husband..." she mumbled.

"I heard that bangaruu. You can say it louder no"
He asked while combing his hair.

She bit her tongue and smiled.

"I hope there wont be hawks at temple to stare at my husband🤨😒" She stressed the last part possessively.

"Haha😂 My eyes would be only on you. Dont worry. Because if some male hawks are staring at you inappropriately, im gonna smash their faces"

"Started.. bava...please control no. I'm fine. Me and babies will be scared to see nana in fight mode😗"

Her innocent face make him smile softly.

"Don't worry. I won't act hastily. Lets go now"

Jai took the baby girl in his arms while Vennela took the boy. He was so calm and rested peacefully in his mother's arms while the baby girl was the most excited one.

Jai kissed both their munchkins and headed to the temple.

Vennela felt peace walking through the temple premises with her husband and babies, her hands holding a small basket of necessary pooja items and other arm held rishu.

The gentle hymns coming from the temple soothed her ears and senses. Jai was entertaining babies as usual. Both of them prayed to lord almighty for giving them many more happy and prosperous years, for the health of everyone and prayed specially for their babies.
The temple priest blessed the whole family.

She applied sandalwood paste between eyebrows of Jai and babies. While he applied for her.

They had prasadam from the temple.

Jai saw a cart selling jasmine flowers. He bought a garland for Vennela and fixed it properly on her hair.

"Thank you☺"

"Ssh...☺" They entwined their fingers softly exchanging love for each other.

Todays breakfast was from outside. Vennela craved for ghee roast while Jai ordered a masala dosa for him.

Babies were asleep by then. They had breakfast quickly and headed back to home.

"Paapam... babies slept off without having milk🙁 They must have been so tired."

Vennela said with a worried face caressing their heads softly.

"Yes. But they will be up soon bangaruu..do you think my babies can control hunger ?😆"

"Of course not. They have got your strong traits in that😂" Vennela said with a soft chuckle making him reciprocate the same.
