It was around 7 am. Birds were chirping around, the sweet fragrance of jasmine flowers filled in the air, the drizzle of rain made the atmosphere more cozy. He snuggled more closer into the blanket smiling. But all he got was some pillow.

My wife ?...

He fluttered his eyes open and adjusted his vision to see the bed empty. With a little panic, he checked the crib beside their bed and found babies sleeping soundly. He got up and stood near the crib adoring their babies who were now more chubby, sleeping adorably.

Giving a kiss on their heads softly, Jai went to the washroom and did his morning chores.

Usually i wake up first, its true that yesterday's office works made me late for bed. Hmm...she must be in the kitchen.

He washed his face and wiped it.

Taking the baby monitor with him, he walked towards the kitchen. He bought it two weeks ago which made things so much easier. Vennela could check on babies while she was working.

As expected, she was working in the kitchen wearing a knee length maxi which Jai had bought for her during maternity wear purchase. She looked great in everything, but that skyblue colour with small white daisy prints and morning sunrays falling on her from the windows made her look surreal. Jai was admiring her leaning to the door. As she was busy rolling chapathis with the pin, she failed to notice him sneaking behind her.

Placing the monitor aside, Jai wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and pulled her closer towards him.

"Ahhh..."
she screamed lightly and took the rolling pin in air to hit the intruder, lucky for him that he held it at the right time.

"Whoa!!! Baby😳... dont hurt this poor husband.😂"

"Bava...you scared me.."

"Who else would come here other than me baby.. "

"Hmm.. may i know why my husband is here ?🤨
" She asked while keeping her hands akimbo.

He felt it cute.

"I didnt see my wife beside me in the morning, its your face that i see everyday morning and i came to receive a smile which makes my day 100 times brighter☺" He admitted.

Vennela smiled beautifully hearing her husband who never fails to amaze and make tingles in her with just his words and charm.

She briefly glanced that he was wearing shorts and tshirt, in that morning rugged look, she found him sexy and manly. Along with that early morning husky voice, ufff...

Jai caught her checking him out.

"Sweety, you can sit there and check me properly. Give that rolling pin, i will do the rest😉" He winked at her.

She quickly turned and concentrated on her work while her cheeks were adorned with a red hue which didnt go unnoticed by Jai.

Vennela felt his constant gaze on her while he made himself comfortable on the kitchen slab.

"Ummm..bava...babies are still sleeping no, why dont you go to the room and be with them ? I'll prepare this quickly and come"

He showed the baby monitor to her.

"That's why i took this with me right?😌"

She shook her head smiling and continued to roll chapathis. Some of the baby hair came out from the bun she made which disturbed her. As her hands were covered with flour, she used her elbows to keep it in place which didnt do any help.

Understanding her situation, he tucked it behind her ear.

"Thank you bava..." she smiled

"Mention not, bangaruu"

After sometime, Jai got down and checked the fridge to get some water while she had washed her hands after finishing the last chapathi and kept a tawa on stove to cook it.

"This is ...?"

He took two small milk bottles from the fridge.

"Uh...that's..babies' milk"

"Ohhh...why is it in the fridge but ?"

"Umm...that was extra ...so i..😳"
She didnt know why she was nervous and shy after all these times.

"Manasa had bought me the pump..so i tried it.."

"Hmm...what are you going to do with it ?"

"I...dont know... it is the first time"

"Do you want some help ...😌"

"Huh ?? What are you going to do ?😲"

He winked at her and washed a glass from the cupboard and poured the bottles into it.

Vennela's eyes widened.

"Dont tell me that you are going to drin....😳"

Jai started sipping it slowly and finished it in a go giving a delightful moan.

She gulped hard from her throat and closed her face with palms feeling all red.

"Bangaruu.. look at me baby"

She didnt.

How could she after her husband did such stunt infront of her ???

He sat back and pulled her caging between his legs.

"I know it was awkward, but i couldn't help. I'm..sorry.." He admitted sincerely.

She looked at him slowly.

"I..don't..mind.. don't be sorry.. its just i couldn't process everything that happened🙈"

He caressed her hair smiling while she hid her face in his chest.

"Was it for babies ?"

"No..they are not accustomed to drinking from bottles.. i was feeling sore lately so i thought to ease the pain and this was the solution left😗"

"Hmm...you know what? I loved it. I sound very weird right ? But thats the truth and I'd prefer taking it from the source more😉"

"Bavaaa... !! Siggu ledu neeku..😳🙈( you dont have a shame ) She hit his chest playfully and giggled seeing a milky moustache. Her husband looked like a baby , so innocent.

Vennela wiped it with her fingers. Jai gave a gentle bite on one of her finger.

"Ouww..notorious" she twisted his ear playfully.

"I didn't know you'd like this as small babies🙈"

"Why wouldn't ? I love everything about you"

"Okay...Now you go and take bath while i finish preparing this soon"

"C'mon bangaruuu, let me help you"

"I know what's running in your mind. But no bava. Not now. Go and bath. You've to reach office soon"

"I'm the boss so i've the privilege. Getting a little bit late is fine"

"No. I want you to be punctual as always. Employees are also seeing you and you will have rights to make them understand only if you do the same"

"Offo...okay madam.. im going to bath. Better than this philosophy early morning" He murmured and went after giving a quick peck on her cheeks.

She smiled and kept hands over her heart.

"Happa ! What just happened before ?"

While preparing the curry, she couldn't stop blushing and thinking about her naughty husband.

Meanwhile Jai had a bath and came out fresh, only in his track pants with a towel around his neck. As he was checking tshirt in the cupboard, he saw a slight movement in the crib. He leaned closer to the crib and saw his baby boy awake.

"Acho...nana's little prince is awake.. 😘"

He took his tiny frame in his arms carefully and cuddled. Baby was giving a toothless grin which Jai found really cute.

They were 2 months old now.

Hearing the commotion, baby girl also woke up.

He noticed that and took his princess after gently placing the boy on the bed.
He was really surprised when she was already giving drooly smiles at him.

"My ammukutty...my babies are all smiles. Hope you both had a good sleep after making us wake up twice.😂"

He kept his baby girl near the boy too and sat beside them giving cute expressions and blowing raspberries making them giggle a little.

Jai had changed their diapers as he found out that they did susu in it.

As he was wiping their bums with baby wipes, he kept telling all sweet nothings to them. Babies just enjoyed seeing their nana talking. They had bonded with him from the first day onwards.

"Nana has to go to office and ammutty rishu wants me to change your diapers...? My little dongas ( thieves )😘😘"

See see all notorious smiles to take away my heart. He kissed them on their cheeks..

"Ouchhh !!!" Jai turned back rubbing his bums and saw his wife standing with arms crossed .

"What is it bangaram ??😢"

"Didn't i tell you to get ready ?🤨 See the time its already 9. Youve to reach the office by 10"

"Yeah i know. I was going to get ready and that's when babies woke up, i changed their diapers and was entertaining them.. no one is seeing the struggles of this poor man.. i have to work in office , separated from my wife and babies for hours, eating alone there working in laptop and signing files, drawing plans ...my life has become a desert in office...sob sob...☹😔"

He blabbered like a drama king.

"I know all your tricks.. you're the most notorious"

She smacked his head lightly and gave his crisp midnight blue shirt and beige pants from the cupboard.

Jai pouted.

"You dont act like little Krishna now. I'll be with babies. Get ready. Breakfast is also ready"

"Ohh breakfast also got ready in shirt and trousers... noice....then send him to office😏 Give him my car keys"

"Nee...🤨"

"Ohhk ohkk im changing.. offo.. so bossy !"

He was changed into his formal wears. Rolling up his sleeves , he applied some of her favourite cologne and set his hair. Tucked in his shirt neatly and tied watch.

Vennela watched all this while feeding babies.

"Dressing up so much to impress girls...😏" she murmured but Jai heard that.

"Yeah yeah...I appointed a new P.A, name is same like yours...Vennela... so cool right ? She is so cute and beautiful. Unmarried i guess. Didnt see any sindoor. She is already impressed with me i guess😋"

Vennela narrowed her eyebrows and glared at him.

"Go..go fast and impress her. Me and babies will enjoy here peacefully.😤"

She turned her face away and some of her hair came loose from the bun.
Angrily, she tucked it behind her ear.

"But only problem is that, her name is actually Rajesh..weird right ??😆"

"Haha..poor joke..🙄" she smirked.

"Among millions or billions of girls, my heart has fallen only for you and it will always be that way.
I was kidding bangaruuu... 😘"

He softly whispered in her ears and kissed there making her melt.

Babies unlatched and they were made to burp.

"Bava..come for breakfast"

Vennela carried both of them to the dining area. He arranged some files and laptop in his bag and followed her.

"Bangaruu...give them to me. I'll hold"

"Its okay bava..I'll make them lay on the baby carpet . As their tummy is full now, they wont show any tantrums"

He nodded and spread the mat and helped to make each babies lay on it. Vennela went to the kitchen and brought a hot pot of chapathi and a bowl of vegetable curry. She served him and poured a cup of tea also.

"Bava ..enough playing with babies. Come and have this.. its tough to handle you than our babies.."

"I'm the first baby no.."

"Yeah grown up like a bamboo tree now"

" Bad comparison sweety, I'm the reincarnation of Amarendra Bahubali right and you are my Devasena😚"

"You are crazy😂 Wash hands and eat food. I'll be with babies here"

She sat beside babies on their carpet and distracted them using rattles and toys. Jai watched it adorably while having his food.

"Food is amazing sweety"

"I'm glad that you loved it bava. Eat more okay.."

He nodded and ate.

"Amma's bujji and bangaram😘😘"

She kissed on babies' tiny fingers and toes.

"Bava... actually the gifts which your office mates gave were too good and useful☺"

He smiled.

"They loved babies and the programme right ?"

"Yeah they loved it. Loved babies more"

"Hmm..i also enjoyed interacting with all of them. I know some of them from before because you had taken me to office after our wedding also quite a few times right ?"

"Yes. Im happy when you are happy☺"

He smiled and got up taking the plate and tea cup.

"Bava keep it there. I'll wash"

"No. You have done enough works. I'll do this."

"Its fine and i love eating from your plate. So... ☺"

"Alright" He smiled sweetly and kept the plate there and closed it with another plate.

"Even i love eating from a single plate with you, bangaram"

"I know.. ❤"

Vennela stood on the portico with babies in her arms. Jai kept on kissing his babies not getting enough of them and babies worsened the situation by giving drooly smiles and giggles to their father.

Jai sighed after giving countless kisses to them.

"Bava...its just a matter of few hours, if you are like this then office works will get pended up and it will trouble you only"

"I know..."

"Just a few hours baby, babies will take a nap by then and will play with you. Right babies ?"

They made cute sounds as if agreeing to it.

"See they also asked their nana to go to office like a good boy☺"

"Okay.. you all want to send me off there😒"

"Go happily bava.. dont go with this gourd face"

"Fine.." he smiled, kissed babies' head and gave a peck to her lips.

"Bye bye nana...😘"

" Bye my all babies...eat food well bangaram. Call me if you need anything ok ?"

"Yes bava. You too have lunch fully. I've packed some fruits also along with it. Make sure to have it. Stay hydrated"

"Thanks baby. Im asking you to do the same too"

She nodded and made babies wave their tiny palms, he too waved back happily and drove to office.

"Nana went.. now amma will have breakfast and Radha aunty will come soon"

Vennela cooed her babies inside the home and locked the doors after placing them on their carpet.

She had food from the same plate he had. She relished having from it.

After washing few dishes, Radha came.

Radha was a neighbourhood maid of theirs. She was married and 3 years younger than Vennela. She was there ever since their marriage and was really helpful for them..Vennela got really bonded with her as they talked and did works. She was also kind of a part of their family. Jai and Vennela never saw her as a maid rather as a younger sister.

"Good morning akka"

"Hey good morning...☺"

"Good morning aunty's babies..."

They got excited seeing her and tried to jump into her arms.

"Haha..wait...amma will give no... 😂"

Radha took both of them and made funny faces which clearly both of them loved.

Vennela shook her head smiling and went to put the clothes for washing.

After separating Jai's formal clothes and babies' clothes from theirs, which she usually hand washes, the rest of clothes were put inside the washing machine.

Completing those works and keeping it for drying Vennela came back. She saw that Radha had kept them on their carpet and was sweeping other side of the hall while keeping an eye on babies.

"I forgot to ask, Radha you had breakfast no? Wanna have chapathis ?"

"No akka..i already had from home"

"Hmm.. i will take babies to give a bath. You sweep outside as rain is stopped now"

"Alright akka"

Vennela brought their oil and gave a body massage to both of them .

She made lukewarm water ready for them and took them to bathroom. Kept them in small tub filled with water, the tub which they purchased recently.

"Acho who are these two tiny babies without clothes😂"

Babies splashed on water enjoying their bath.
She giggled watching it and supporting them with her hands. Babies got cranky when she washed their head.

"Ohh ohh..its alright kanna...its over.."

After wiping their head and bodies with a soft towel, she carried them back to room carefully while babies were wrapped in tiny soft towels.

Vennela spread baby lotion on their bodies and dressed them up in the cutest onesies having prints of "our little miracle" over it. She adjusted their hair which was sticking up like a fountain. Using a puff, she applied baby powder carefully on their faces.

"Awww ..amma's tiny miny's😘😘"

"My rishu baby is looking just like nana excluding his beard and moustache. Mamma did a copy paste it seems. And my little princess has all killer smiles like your father. Muah😘😘"

Both of them yawned while trying to grab her clothes.

"My babies are sleepy after a bath. Now we will have milk and sleep ok?😘😘"

She clicked a photo of them in her phone and sent it to her husband with caption " Hey nana, we just had a bath and are going to sleep now. Come back soon"

Vennela adjusted them both on either sides of her on the feeding pillow and as they kept filling their tummy, she applied kohl on their eyelids and eyebrows. They looked so cute.

She loved the little sighs they were giving. It was one of the best feeling she experienced as a mother. She always wanted to cherish their tiny sighs and slow squeaks.

Even though, it was tiring initially, she got accustomed gradually to handle babies and look after their needs balancing works too. Her ever supportive system was Jai. He helped her whenever he was present at home. Sometimes he took duties of washing clothes and cooking when Vennela was engaged with babies or mostly he forces her to take rest. He won as a husband and a father. He is the bestest father their babies can ever get. Vennela adored how he bonded with their babies.

Her thoughts were disturbed by the notification sound from phone.
She took it and saw Jai's reply.

"My munchkins😘😘...Nana loves you..and will come back soon. Have food well and dont make amma run behind you a lot"

She chuckled and sent a heart. He received it wholeheartedly and sent one back.

Jai was working in his computer, busy for the upcoming projects. Last project was failed due to some unforseen circumstances, so he worked better and more hard this time. He didnt even saw the time was already 1 pm.

All were headed to the canteen to have lunch.
His P.A , Rajesh knocked and entered his cabin.

"Where is the final sketch of the plan ?"

"I guess its not completed fully sir" Rajesh said while bowing his head not facing him.

"What do you mean by its not completed ?" He asked removing his working specs.

"Kishore is in charge of it right ?? Ask him to come to my cabin very soon"

"Okay sir. I'll just call him"

He went and informed this to Kishore, he was having lunch while chatting with female colleagues.
Kishore knew he would get an earful from his boss.

"Sir, may i come....😶"

"Come in, Kishore"

He stood keeping a bit distance from Jai.

"When did i ask you to finish the plan ?"

"Uh..sir..yesterday"

"Completed ?"

"No....sir.."

Kishore got startled when he heard the slamming sound on desk. He raised his face up to see Jai standing there anger over his face.

"Look Kishore, its one of the projects im working ..everyone is working hard for. I had assigned you a work already and you haven't finished it on your due. I know whats running in the office ? You and your chatting with female staffs. Do you think im not noticing it ?? Even when my wife came here first , you tried flirting with her. Is this for what im giving salary for you all ???"

Again another slam on the desk.

"Here im working hard.."

He looked at the clock.

"You are having breakfast, lunch etc on the correct time right? Are you skipping or giving excuses to that ??"

"Answer me Kishore!!!😠"

"Si..sir...I'm sorry sir.. I'll .."

"This is your last warning. I want the finalised perfect plan on my desk by tomorrow morning. Else you are fired"

"I'll finish it today itself sir ..." he said worriedly seeing his boss' angry face.

"Go away now"

He sat his chair giving a sigh while Kishore fled from the cabin asap.

After two minutes, his phone started ringing. It was Vennela.

He took the call after composing himself.

"Hello bava.." he heard her sweet voice from the other side.

"Hello ..bava you there ?.."

"Hmm.."

"Why do you seem dull ? Is everything okay ? Did i disturb you ?"

"I'm fine"

You dont seem fine bava. She thought in her mind.

"Babies are sleeping still. I just had a bath and going to have lunch now.☺ You had your lunch right ?"

"No"

"Why bava? Its 1.30 already. I asked you to have food on your time right ? Why are you this careless ?"

"Can you stop it bangaram ?" He shouted at her.

She shuddered suddenly hearing him.

"I'm not a kid. I know well that i have to have lunch. You dont have to constantly remind"

Her eyes welled up.

"But i just asked ..."

"Stop it...can you all give me some peace?"

She gulped a sob and wiped the tears that rolled down her cheeks.

"Is there anything you need ?"

Can...can you bring diapers for babies and also..pads for me?" She said scared.

"Fine" He disconnected the call and threw the phone over a file and closed his eyes running fingers through hair.

Vennela covered her mouth and sobbed , because she hadn't seen her husband bursting out like that at her. He was the most calm and peaceful man after that fight that had happened at Manasa's place.

"Akka...akka..."

She heard Radha's sounds and wiped her tears.

"I'm..coming Radha.."

They both had lunch. Radha noticed her gloomy and also she had a little food.

"Akka , is everything ok ?"

"Huh? Yeah..everything is okay"

"Then let me put you a little more rice"

"No no..im full.. you have more"

She took the plate and went to kitchen to wash.

"Akka...keep the plate there ill wash"

"Its fine ..ill do it"
