Aphmau's POV

I was lying on Aaron's shoulder, his right arm wrapped around my waist. 

We were sitting on the couch binge watching gravity falls. 

Like always, he was not wearing an upper garment. 

His warm skin was nice against my cheek.

I was slowly drifting off.    

Aaron must have noticed, he reached over and gently kissed my forehead.

This made me feel warm inside. 

I can't believe I'm back with him. 

I couldn't be happier.

Apparently I was wrong.

I heard the sound of the doorbell rang throughout the house.

Aaron chuckled and slipped out from under me and laid me down on the couch.

He walked towards the door, putting on one of his very few t shirts. 

I heard some exchange of conversation, then......sobbing?

I sit up groggily and see Travis and Katelyn. 

Katelyn was....

Sobbing?

I stand up, concern written all over my face.

"..Katelyn....what happened..."

She plumped on the couch. 

Travis sat next to her.

 Aaron went into the kitchen to grab something for Katelyn.

I sat at Katelyn's other side. 

"....Max....broke up....with me...."

She started sobbing uncontrollably. 

I wrapped my arms around her and she leaned on me as she sobbed. 

Travis just sat there, watching her. 

I wasn't even happy a bit because of my ship.

Aaron came out of my kitchen with a few glasses of strawberry lemonades. 

He set them down on the coffee table, then joined us on the couch.

"Why?" I asked, her tears staining my galaxy t shirt. 

"...He....said...he didn't love...me...." She said between sobs then went back to sobbing.

"There there Katelyn...you were there for me....I'll be there for you..."

She pulled back and wiped her tears and smiled a bit. 

I smiled back.

She stayed for a bit then Travis took her  home.

...Max is dead....

As I closed the door behind Travlyn(hehe), I felt an arm snake my waist and turn me around. I turn around to see Aaron, towering over me.

He gently places his lips on mine, and I on his.

When we pulled back he smiled, then frowned.

"...I caused you alot of pain...didn't I?" He asked curiously.

"Nevermind Aaron.....thats in the past...I'm happy now that I'm with you.."

Still frowning, he says.

"So....I'll be going to college next year...I.. won't be seeing you as often..."

I drop my head so he couldn't see the tear outlining my cheek. 

"Hey...hey...It'll be okay....We still have the summer.....and I would rather spend this summer with you, then a whole life time with someone else...."

I raise my head and smile, he uses his thumb to wipe the tear from my cheek. 

As he leans in again, we hear a loud crash. 

Startled, we both exit the house to see on the street a collision of two cars.

We hear crying. 

A baby crying. 

We run over to the cars and Aaron goes for the parents in the front seat and I go for the baby.

I tug and tug at the door, nothing happened. 

I finally was able to dislocate the door and unbuckle the baby.

I grab the little baby, with blond hair, maybe about 7 months. 

I run towards my house. 

Everyone was trying to get the parents out, then the ambulance and fire department came.

"Hey you!" I heard a gruff voice say. 

I turn my head to see a firemen, in full gear.

"Is that the baby from the car?" He asks. 

I nod my head, trying to calm the crying baby.

"Come with us please." 

He motions for me to follow and I hop into the ambulance along with one of the babies parents, the mother.

She did not look good. 

Oh...shoot...

I completely forgot about Aaron.

Aaron's POV

After helping the parents out of the car, I went and sat on the curb.

The memories keep clashing in my head.

Of when she was on the ground, pale and grey, blood coming from everywhere.

I shake my head of the thought.

She is here now.

With you.

I stand up and look for Aphmau.

She is no where to be found or the baby she was carrying. 

I looked around everywhere until it was late at night.

I texted her and called her, panic racing through my system.

She finally picked up. 

I let out a big sigh of relief.

"You're okay....Oh my Irene Aph don't scare me like that..." I say, relaxing.

"I'm fine Aaron, I just rode with the family to the hospital....the baby is fine but the parents...they didn't make it.....and everyone in the other car was fine too..." She answers, her small voice calming me. 

"What are they going to do about the baby?" I asked

"They asked me if I was willing to take care of her till they could find a proper family for her.....I said yes......" She said, a bit joyful and a bit scared.

"Don't worry Aph....I'll help you take care of her...whats her name?"

"Lilth..."

OMI Whats going on here? 

I am guilty of rewatching His Choice and crying again when Lilth said "Daddy?"

Why do I do this to myself? Anyways thanks for reading this book and getting 870 views!
