3 full hours passed by like the strike of a lightning bolt. Zach and I played through Exploding Kittens, Fluxx, Life, Cards Against Humanity, you name it. Several hours had passed with winners and losers, yet the true champion never was decided. 

We argued the entire night about who the winner was, it never came to a conclusion though.

I accompanied Zach to go place the games back into his storeroom. Slowly making my way down the stairs I walked up to the record player. Zach had placed the games back in the spot then walked over to me. 

"My family loves retro items, we have a collection of a bunch of crap in the back. Someday I'll show you through it all." Zach says.

I nod and smile at him in response. Zach's phone starts to go off. "Looks like our ride is here!" Zach exclaims. The two of us grab our bags then head outside. Zach yells goodbye from outside the door. 

I follow behind Zach, as he walks up to the black Cadillac ATS parked on the porch. He runs over to the car and gets into it. I sit in the back seat. Zach's boyfriend looks back at me. His hair colour is deep black with brushed up and taper fade hairstyle. The colour of his eyes is grey, making it shift in colour under the light. Zach faces back to me and introduces me. I smile at him. 

"This here is my boyfriend, Sean," Zach leans to kiss him and he kisses him back. 

"It's nice to meet you Shade! So, babe where are we heading?" He asks as he starts the engine up. "The usual spot," Zach adds.

Sean revs up the engine and then he drives it down the street. I pay no attention to the two. They truly are cute but I could care less about the two at that moment. I had rolled down the window. The cold night breeze had caressed my face giving me a soothing sensation. I thought about what Zach said earlier, to where he thought of Parker liking me.

It couldn't have been, right? I mean c'mon we barely know each other. Plus love, at first sight, is complete bullshit. Then, on the other hand, it did work with my parents but still complete BS. It wouldn't work if he found out who I was he wouldn't have accepted me, he would leave me. Why is it that I care tho, why do I care about what he feels? Pretty soon he'll fall into Scar's arms and the two will become a wonderful couple. I'll be left out of the picture just the way I'm supposed to be.

We reached our destination. Throughout the car ride, those were the thoughts that had pondered about. I got out of the car and stared at the spot. It was a forest. Nothing too special about it, just a forest. 

"The two are waiting for us inside," Zach says as he holds onto Sean's hand. The two begin to treck up the small hills in the forest. I walk behind them as I admire the view. It was dark, no light, you could hardly see the moon. 

Would you go searching for a dead body in these woods? Probably wouldn't even be able to hear the screams of the people within here. Why were those the thoughts that first came to my head, I don't know, I'm broken is why. 

I broke my self at a young age. Maybe I am responsible for the death of my mother. I think about it. The forest, my childhood home.
