After that night between Jessica and David Jessica kept going to see Samson but not constantly anymore.
Three weeks after,  the investigator brought some report to David and attached to the report were photograph of Jessica and Samson

And the report was that Jessica was visiting and sleeping with her boyfriend Samson in the hotel the normally meet.

Few days after David heard from the investigatir Jessica went to see Samson.
He had threatened to do something stupid if she didn’t show up the next time he asked her to.

“Samson please I am a married now”
I can't continue seeing you.
I have been telling you this for the past two weeks but you still don't want to listen.

It is obvious this relationship have no future. please, just move on and forget about me with this non of us will get hurt.
  I believe you would find someone else. And you can't go on with that deal of stealing from David you will get caught and I don't want you to get hurt. Just give it up please " Jessica said to him.

"What are you talking about Jessica?
what happened to you, you are giving up on us"? Samson asked angrily.
"Yes, I am so sorry, but I have to go"

"You can’t do this to me Jessica" Samson said madly
"I promise you are going to pay for this, I would make you pay for this.
you can’t just leave me for that dog he doesn't deserve you"
Samson held her tight and drag her closer to him trying to kiss her
“if you want to leave that fine, but I would have to take what is supposed to be mine” he said as he began to remove his belt.

“Stop this Samson” She said and then pushed him hard.
Samson lost his balance and fell hitting head on the wall. before he could regain himself and run after her, she had already escaped.

That day, The secret investigator brought another report. This time a video of when Jessica was leaving the hotel. In the clip she was trying to arrange herself and her hair which was very scattered.

12am, as usual David was not in the bed room, he was in his study Jessica laid on her back looking at the ceiling just as she has been doing for the past weeks.

Some nights she stand close to David's study door and hear him punch his laptop enter key hard.  She would be tempted to go in and  plead for him hold her. But she has always walk back to the empty cold bed because she was scared he would reject her.

she was ready to make things right with her husband, she didn't know what had happened to her but she was in love with David.
She discovered she loves everything about him.  The way he talks, his silence, his calmed nature, his sincererity everything.
she had Thought she hate them, she didn't she had only been trying to.

She couldn't Pretend anymore.
she stays awake at night wishing David was there to touch her the way he had that night.

Every morning she wakes and walk to the dinner table praying for him to be there so she can see his face.

He was the most handsome man she has ever seen. What had she really seen in Samson she thought.

She was going to make things right. She will tell David she loves him and that she's sorry for everything. she intended to do so as fast as possible.

That morning, when David entered the bed room, Jessica got up from the bed and was smiling at him. She was about to speak when David began to talk.

“My lawyer is waiting in my study to see you”
“Why” Jessica asked confused
"I have decided to let you have what you've always wanted I want you to be happy.  Your happiness means a lot to me and for that I can do anything including letting you go" David said calmly.

"NO"
she tried to speak but could not, she couldn’t say anything. she felt hot tears gathering in her eye
And then David left and went to his study expecting her to follow him.
There was nothing she could do than to join him in his study.

When she got there, the lawyer explained everything she needed to know. after he was done, she left immediately without saying a word.

After the lawyer had left, David went back to the bedroom. Jessica was sitting on the bed looking scared and confused, that got David wondering but he didn't ask her  what the matter was .

“You should sign the papers, before the end of today. you are to choose any properties of mine that you wish to have just as the lawyer as explained”
He kept the papers close to her and left without saying more.

Jessica could hold herself anymore, her legs were shaking.
“What am I going to do, he wants to get rid of me I have to do something”
she thought
"oh God he is already tired of me, God please help me I don’t want to leave anymore I don’t want to leave him anymore, I love him" she said silently.

After that day, Jessica began to act in everything that would make David know she had change but that didn't change anything
She thought of telling Helen everything maybe she could help her, but she was scared.

“He dont love me anymore, he truly wants to get rid of me.
He never even loved me the way he claimed to if he has he would have notice the change in me” she said crying on her pillow.
she kept having sleepless night thinking of what to do.

All hope was finally lost  when David came to the bedroom and ask if she was done signing the papers on the third day.

  “No but I can  sign them now it not a big deal”
she replied.
David stood close to his game desk and waited for her.

David on the other was hoping she would say no, but he was wrong, he thought
When she was done signing the papers, she handed the papers back to him and he glanced through it.

“You did not indicate which of my property you need” he asked looking at her.

“I don’t need anything from you
I don’t think you can give me what I want even though you have it"

David looked intensively at her she looked stress, tiny but still very beautiful.

“Anything you want from me, I would give it to you willingly” David said.

"I don’t think you would want to" she said shaking her head...

There were standing were close that they could feel each other breath. And that was the first time they had a conversation without arguing.

  Jessica wanted to rest her head on his shoulder, she wanted to be held by him, she wanted to be in his arms but she was scared he would push are away.

“You are now free to go to where ever you wish to go, you are now a free woman I wish you a happy life Jessica”  David said and walk out.

Jessica quickly turned her eyes away, not wanting David to see her tears. When he close the door behind him, she fell to the floor and wept silently.

"What is happening to you David? I saw your lawyer and he told me about the decision you made without even letting me know"
Why David? Helen asked.
Nothing is wrong mom, I am just doing what I think is best for the woman I love...
"really David, what's happening to you"

"Mother I can’t be sharing my wife with another man" he said silently.
"What do you mean? 
you mean Jessica has been sleeping..." Helen asked curiously
"Yes, she still goes to see her boyfriend" David replied
“How long has this been going on?” Helen asked.
"since we came back"
"oh my God David and you never said anything. I need to talk to her, I don’t believe Jess can do this, I mean she is a wonderful girl we have been getting along nicely recently.
“She’s only wonderful to you"
David said keeping the pictures for her.

Jessica was standing close to the dressing mirror looking her flat stomach when Helen knocked and entered without waiting for her to reply.

Jessica  turned lazily and faced Helen. She was looking pale, her eyes red from crying and her lips dry.

"Jessi what have been happening in this house? I was thinking you were a responsible woman, that you were only been stubborn.
Why did you have to get to the point of seeing another man when you are married? Do you know the gravity of what you have done? You are a queen, how could you"

Jessica face was down as she shamefully wept.
"I am so sorry your majesty,
I don’t know what came over me but please I want you to believe me. All this while have been going to see him, I never did anything bad with him, and I have ended everything with him.
I am ready to be faithful to my husband please just help me talk to the king, tell him I am very sorry.
help me out please, don’t let him send me away, I am ready to be his wife and the mother Of his children please" Jessica said crying harder.

"I don’t know how it happened but l'm already in love with him I don’t want to leave him anymore I care about him so much that it hurts please"

"I know he will listen to you.
Talk to him on my behalf  please" she said kneeling and pleading.

Helen was heartbroken
"What do you want me to say to him Jessica?
He has every right to be angry at you
You have been sleeping with another man while you were still under his roof, and married to him"

"no" Jessica shook her head in disapproval "I haven't been sleeping around, David is the only man I’ve slept with, I have never done anything more than a kiss with Samson believe me please.
If you don’t believe me then I don’t have any hope of David doing so"
she said still on her knees still weeping bitterly feeling as though the whole world had left her alone.

If you are innocent then talk to him  yourself he is your husband make him see reasons why he should believe you"

Something deep within Helen told her Jessica was innocent, she had come to know, understand and loved Jessica, but she was totally confused at the moment.

The next day, Jessica switch on her phone and saw a message from Samson.

“Come and meet me at our usual place, if not I would come myself and pay you a visit”
When Jessica saw the message, she was totally confused. she didn’t know what to do.

she decided to go to see Samson, so she could plead with him to let her be because she was sure if she didn’t go to see him he would show up at the palace and she didn’t want to make things more difficult and complicated than there already were.

“Samson I told you I can’t be seeing you again”
I am married, and I am pregnant for my husband there is nothing we can do anymore. I am already in love with him, I am very sorry, but I love him now.
Please find another woman"

Samson was mad at what she had said, and tried to rape her.
He was already on top of her trying to get rid of her clothes when Jessica reached for the small knife she had came with and stab him on his arm...

She quickly ran out leaving him to his fate.
Another report was taking to David that day by the investigator.

That night Jessica made up her mind to tell her husband everything that had been happening maybe he would forgive her.

If David didn't love her anymore to forgive her,  he would do that because of his child, when she tells him about his baby that was growing inside of her. 

Jessica summoned all the courage she needed and then went to meet the king in his private study.

Jessica knocked and immediately entered with waiting for David's response she knew David wouldn't let her.  you were only allowed to enter David's private study when you were invite by him. Any other reason other than that was considered a disturbance by him.

“What are you doing here”? He asked immediately he saw her 
“I want to talk to you your majesty” she replied with her eyes faced down.

"Whatever it is  you have to say can wait, as you can see I am very busy"
“I am sorry but it’s urgent you have to listen to me David” she pleaded

"I want to believe you understand I am your king"
Jessica nodded
"Good. Now don’t you ever call me David again"
Jessica nodded again, this time looking at him.

She has always called David, since she got married to him this was not really going to be easy, she thought
"I'm sorry your majesty" she apologist, and then continue.
"please your majesty" Jessica said and immediately went on her knees
"I want you to believe everything I’m about to say  because it is the truth.
I ended everything with Samson some weeks ago.
I know its sound funny but I am serious" she inhaled deeply and then exhaled heavily.
" I love you .
I don’t know how it happened but I am saying the truth I love you so much. Please forgive me and give me just one more chance.
Please don’t send me away.
I know I’ve done a lot of things I was'nt  suppose to do, but I never slept with him, not for once 
Please David... sorry your majesty, give me another chance.
I promise I am going to be a good wife please" Jessica said pleading with her hands.

David was still looking at his work as if he wasn't interested in what she was saying.

" Please your majesty, don’t just keep quiet, please say something,
tell me you believe all that I’ve said.
She was still talking, when loud noise began to come from outside the compound.

David's window was open so they could hear everything clearly even though it was in the second floor and on of the window happened to be faceing  the interior of the compound directly.

“Where is that dog you call a king, ask him to come out here and face me if he is a man”

Jessica used her hands to cover her ears. She knew who he was.

The securities held him and were trying to take him out of the palace but his voice was so loud, the sound was enough to wake even the dead.

"if you know you are man  why don’t you come out here and face me" Samson shouted.

“What are you guards waiting for, take that thing out of here” Helen spoke angrily, before she could finish her statement
David was out. 

“Allow him” he said and then the security left Samson.

"what do you want young man? David asked calmly

"I have come to fight for what belong to me, I want to get back what you stole from me" Samson spat out.

“I don't anything that belongs to you” David responded defensively.

"You liar, you took Jessica from me, and now that she is expecting my child I have come to take her back"

Everyone including the maids and guard switched into great shock mood when he said that.

"Stop lying. Samson.  you know what you are saying is a lie" Jessica tried to defend herself and then turned to David.

"Please don’t believe him please he is lying to you please don’t listen to him" Jessica pleaded looking totally confused.

"young man, I don’t have anything to do with your girlfriend or whatever you call her anymore we have been divorced for close to a week now I don’t know why she is still here.
So you can do whatever you wish to do with hervand your unborn baby" David said

"but let me warn you, you might not be lucky to meet me in a good mood the next time you show up in my palace in this way" David said and went back to his study room while the guards dragged Samson out.

Jessica ran ran after David
"please David don’t believe what he just said, he just wants to punish me for leaving him
Please look at me.
you said you loved me right? Why are you finding it difficult to believe me? Jessica said crying.

Women were after all born with guile.
They were fashioned to masquerade and always look helpless and vulnerable when they want to manipulate somebody especially the men.
Until they had their hooks in you, then to shake free you had to bleed a lot, if you were smart, you will take a hard look at the scars from time to time to remind yourself how life and women really work.

at that particular moment David was glad he had learned his lesson the hard way and he was indeed done with women, he thought. 

“Maybe it’s because I don’t know where the love I once had for you had gone to, I can’t find it.
The only thing I feel for you now is hatred I wish you know how much I hate you.

Now I want you to in there and get whatever belongs to you and leave I don’t want to ever see you again never”!
David said pushing her away without caring if he hurts her or not then he entered his study and close the door.

"please David, please forgive me I won’t be able to survive this heart break.
I love you David, I need you please, your child in my womb  needs you don’t throw us away please"

David opened the door and gave her a hard intense look.

"take that unborn bastard you are calling my child and get the hell out of my house.
You should have asked politely that you wanted your bastard to bear my name, maybe I would have considered"
David barked out loud the way had never done in his entire life.

"you have just one hour to leave my house or I would get someone to help you out" David said and lock the door behind him banging it harder this time.

"You fool"
Jessica called out to David
"You can call me whatever you wished to call me, but don’t you ever call my unborn child a basted because he isn’t" she said crying more
And then she went to the bed room and began to pack her things
 
When she got to where Helen was standing, she looked at her.
 
“I am so sorry for everything please forgive me, for the shame I brought upon your family.
I want you to know, everything I said to you is the truth.

I just hope the king would be able to forgive me someday”
she said and then walked out dragging her bag behind her.
