Anika was having her breakfast with her parents when Tej said

"After a month it's your marriage. Don't you dare to argue or run away for that boy who doesn't care for you", said Tej in a stern voice gaining Anika's attention who was eating food

"Do whatever you want to I will not stop you. Because I know people will never understand a girl's point of view", said Anika and stood up to leave but Tej held her hand

"Just a second. I know who is your lover. I also know you still love him but If you want to marry him ask to come here for an alliance. I think he can do that for you right? I don't know why you are ready to marry someone else but try to solve problems rather than messing with them more.

I thought at least now my daughter will tell me that she loves someone but how can you tell us hana? We don't understand you. Anyways if you are having a problem with me then I will leave and have your breakfast", said Tej in a cold voice. He tried his best to hide his emotions in front of her but Anika felt pain in his voice. Anika realised that it is her mistake only she is messing things

"He will not papa. I don't know how to set everything alright. I can't wear those things daily in which I am not comfortable. Can't girls make boys friends? Why a girl can't tell freely that she loves someone?", asked Anika with tears and hugged Tej who rubbed her back softly

"You can Anika. I will never stop you. But at least a guy should take a stand right? Will you tell me what happened?", asked Tej to which Anika looked down as she know he will get angry when she will tell him about Shivaay but now she thinks she should not hide it even as he is her father who will think best for her future

"Papa you remember when I went to a village as a teacher", she said to which he nodded. Anika wiped her fresh tears and took a long breath to calm herself

"First have breakfast", said Tej with a smile. He can see anything but not a tear in her eyes. He know something was bothering her but she decided to hide it from him. He was patient at that time but everything has a limit. This alliance drama is a part of it he knows Anika will never marry someone else. He trusts his daughter as well her choice but not her decision because she is still a child for him

"You too", said Anika to Tej. He nodded and started having his breakfast. Anika passed a smile to him. Her father is the best in this world and understands her like no other. She regrets that she was rude sometimes in past when he neglected her wishes

After having breakfast they moved towards the garden with her favourite chocolate which she takes usually whenever she is hurt

"That day I meet Pinky m... I mean aunty you can understand Hana who she is then?", asked Anika innocently Tej nodded and they both sat on the swing with Anika's head on Tej's shoulder

"She helped me to manage in that school. At that time I was new so I was facing difficulty in managing routes too because I kept my modern things here only. So there I meet a family. Small but happy family. Omru, Pinky mom, Shakti dad and Shivaay. He was gentleman and best in everything. I liked his business ideas a lot but he is not in a well-known company so I thought after coming back I will give him an offer to work in my company but before that everything happened", said Anika to which he just hummed because he know it was not the whole truth. His daughter will never leave someone without any reason or misunderstanding

"He is still best in everything dad. He is caring, loving, cute, punctual and kind-hearted too. He has a soft corner for everyone. We meet through Pinky mom when she said that her son is also a bachelor and I should meet him.

He will drop me off daily. I nodded without having any option because in school she was helping me every time. I knew nothing before but after meeting her I got to know every corner of the school. We started eating lunch together. Me and Pinky mom were having a great time together. I loved her company so I agreed to meet Shivaay. I thought it will be my payback but after meeting him I was unable to stop myself from falling for his personality

Just a few days and we were behaving like lovers. I had many friends but I never felt something which I felt for him. After a few months Pinky mom asked for an alliance I agreed happily as I was in love with him. I loved his care and attention whenever I used to have a fever he was there for me.

"You will not do anything Papa. I left this decision to him. See I am ready to accept middle-class surroundings so he should take one step ahead na? Till when a girl will bow her head? I will never. Telling you Reason that he saw me with boys... I mean I was with my friends including girls but his eyes were having defect so he noticed only boys and my dress. Dad, I don't think I should change my lifestyle for him

I mean I don't wear that many short clothes na so they should understand I can't wear a suit for 12 months. It is nearly impossible for me because I am not comfortable", said Anika in loud voice because of her anger and then realised it was her father, not Shivaay. She sighed in defeat and sat on the ground holding her head

"Am I taking a wrong decision in anger Papa? Did I choose the wrong guy?", asked Anika in low voice. Tej holds her shoulder and helped her to sit

"No my daughter. You are right. Decide for yourself and don't accept defeat easily. If he doesn't want to take a step then you are right to move on. Till when a girl Will wait for a boy? I know you were a mistake but this doesn't mean that he will break the alliance. Here I will not come in between but he should think wisely. I never meet him so can't say if your decision is right or not but I trust your choice and her love", he said and kissed her forehead which took her all worry away.

If a lover is special then the father is more special than him because for him most difficult task is to give their daughter to someone

Here Shivaay is hiding behind a tree near Anika's villa. He wants to meet her but his standard don't match hers. He is not rich like her. He doesn't earn 1 million in a year his salary is not even half of that. His yearly package reaches 1 lack which he doesn't realise where it went due to expensive grocery

He noticed someone leaving the villa in the car so he hide and looked down. He remembered his words when he saw her with boys

Flashback (with Shivaay's pov only)

"Wow, what a surprise Anika", he said and looked down in disgust Anika hugged that guy when he was going to leave. He felt like land slipped from his legs watching her wearing short dresses which he thought only heroin wears

"That's her true colour Shivaay. I thought she is an innocent girl but no...she is a cheater", said Pinky which angered him more because she is right. He thought she is an innocent girl but innocent girls don't wear these kinds of dresses

"Why? I loved you but you... These boys. Who were they? Did you go with them for...", he was going to accuse her when Anika shouted

"Just shut up Shivaay. They are my friends and it's normal", said Anika interrupting them

"For you, it is normal but not for us. We have respect unlike you who daily lose it", shouted Pinky. Shivaay looked towards Anika numb as he thought only he have the right to go out with her and hug her but here she gave others this right too

"Mom it's not like that. Shivaay tell her na. Even I have respect", said Anika with tears. He joined his hand in a fist to control his anger because it was uncontrollable hearing her words now

"I don't think so", he said with much difficulty because while accusing her he felt like accusing himself and his character because her respect mean his respect

"How can you say that? ", Shouted Anika

"Just watch your language, dress and friends who hug someone's wife...if not wife then girlfriend", he said and looked aside in disgust

"Watch yourself too. I am your girlfriend but not a property that another boy can't touch me. I know my limits so stop accusing me Shivaay. You should know I love you", said Anika

"Where is your love then?", he asked when Pinky said

"She is arguing now just like her class," said Pinky and left from there. So as Shivaay

Flashback end

He wiped his tears in regret because he know she love him and only him not others but will they let him meet her? He went close to the villa and asked permission to get Inn

"C..can I meet Anika?", he asked and looked down in shame because here he have to ask to meet his love from someone else. Bodyguards exchanged looks and nodded

"Are you Shivaay?", One of them asked in a cold voice shocking him how did they know that it was him without any introduction?

"Yes", he whispered and started walking when they gave him the way. He noticed that the villa is too luxurious which is different from his small house. He went inside and noticed that Anika was coming downstairs

"Careful", he shouted but Anika didn't hear anything and hugged him tightly. He hugged her back and kissed her hairs

"Anika I am here but we will stay as friends ok", he said which angered her and she slapped him

"Are you mad? Did you come here for this? I thought now we will marry happily but no... You still think of me as characterl..", said Anika but Shivaay interrupted her

"Noo... I don't deserve you. You are rich and I am not. You are a nice girl but I accused you. Still, you are forgiving me... I don't deserve you but I want to ask for forgiveness. I am sorry Anika", he said and looked down

"Shivaay I hugged you because I missed you. I missed you soon much but this doesn't mean I will forgive you. And only you are the one who deserves me that guy whom we meet was my college friend who is having a girlfriend. He was teasing me when you came here. I can't live without you", said Anika And looked aside in anger. She gained much strength to control her emotions because of Tej

"Hugh for you I struggled to get a yes from dad and you. huh lazy person", lied Anika and looked towards him who just pulled her in a hug without saying anything. Anika rubbed his back but still, he was not calm.

"Is mom ready?", asked Anika. Shivaay broke the hug and kissed her forehead

"Not yet because after reading your letter I was unable to control myself. I thought what if you did something to yourself?", he said

"I am not that weak Mr And I will not agree till you ask your mom to accept me but I missed you", said Anika and smiled because she thought he will not come here but for her, he came here it was enough. That time she was a mistake too so she is ready to forgive him by taking another step

After a few days, they went home back and convinced Pinky who asked for forgiveness from her. Later they got married and lived happily ever after
