"Fuck this head..."

I sat on the bed and closed my eyes when I felt the pain on my head. I sighed and shook my head before trying to get up but something heavy is on my waist. Then I realized it was Dillion.

I panicked when I saw his naked back and then I remembered what happened last night. My face blushed and tried to remove his arm but he tightened it more. He's facing me so I had to lay again.

My whole body hurt!

I don't remember what happened before I fell asleep. I don't remember how we ended. I tried to remove his arm again, and he finally let go.

I picked up my boxer and went to the bathroom to clean myself. I had to take cold water for my aching body. Damn this man! What did he do.

I stayed there for minutes before deciding to cook for our breakfast. I was wearing nothing on top and a white broad shorts, which is obviously Dillion's. I just toasted bread and fried egg and hotdog. I'm lazy to even cook him a better food. He must eat this.

"Hey, good morning." He kissed my cheek before getting a toasted bread. He smells good because he take a bath already. I can smell the gel he used.

"Good morning. I cooked." I sat on the stool before preparing our food. Umupo naman siya sa harap ko at pinanood akong gawin 'yun.

"Does it hurt?"

I choked on my food with his question. He looked at me with his lips parted before handing a water. Why the hell would he ask that when I am eating?

"Stop." I rolled my eyes on him. He's still confuse with my reaction.

"Why? I'm just worried. It probably hurt, I'm sorry." He sighed as he held my hand. Hindi na ako nagsalita at tinapos na lang ang pagkain. He would often look at me, but I refused to look back.

Kinailangan niya na ring umalis kaagad dahil may trabaho pa siya. I don't want to stay alone in his house so I had to go back to my unit. I texted him that so he's informed. Hindi naman siya umangal at sinabing pupunta na lang siya mamaya sa unit ko pagka-off niya sa work.

"Yes. Right now?" I was talking to my secretary about the meeting. She told me that it wasn't that important so I refused to attend. May kikitain pa akong tao mamaya kaya hindi din ako makaka-attend. "Okay, thank you. Just call me when something happened."

Nagpatuloy na ako sa trabaho pagkatapos no'n. There were lot of papers to review. 'Yung proposals na pinasa sa'kin ng bawat head, 'yung mga dapat pirmahan, at 'yung sales at budget. May mga re-reply-an pa akong mails kaya hindi ko na naramdaman ang pagdaan ng oras. Nalaman ko lang na tanghalian na nang mag-text si Dillion.

I smiled and got myself a rice and vegetables. Since, I had no time on cooking, this is the only food I can eat today. Or maybe just this time. It wasn't bad, though. But it wasn't good either.

Bandang alas dos ng hapon nang umalis ako sa unit para makipagkita sa isang kliyente. She was a big investor so I really had to personally approach her. I was early, I guess, because she wasn't still there when I arrived.

"Callan!"

I roamed my eyes around to find who mentioned my name. I saw Cybelle waved her hand before walking towards me. I stand up to approach her with a smile on my face. She's wearing a yellow dress and a black branded sling bag.

"Wow, you look good, Cybelle. It's been a years." She laughed at what I said before sitting on the chair infront of mine. "What are you doing here? Are you going to meet someone?"

"Ah, yes." She fix her hair before gesturing the waiter to come. She told me to get myself too, but I refused since I am not hungry. "Mrs. Fortaleza?"

I looked at her with shock when she mentioned the name of my client! Nakita ko naman ang pagtawa niya sa mukha ko kaya naningkit ang mata ko sa kaniya. So, she was married now, and she's richer now. Gone those days where she only used to watch movies and series.

"You're the one I'm going to meet?" I chuckled. "How did you became a Fortaleza? Whom are you married? You didn't tell me."

I realized that I really missed a lot with my friends. I don't even know that they are already married or engaged, or had a family. I really focused to myself that much, huh.

"Kay Fragid. It's a long story. He got me pregnant and then he just came to me, telling me to marry him. You know." She stopped when the order came.

Oh, that's why she's a Fortaleza now. Kaya pala familiar ang last name. Fragid probably inherited the company I am working before that's why they had a good life. At least I know that Cybelle is in good hands, with her child.

Kinumusta lang namin ang isa't isa. She didn't changed, she's still that woman who used to joke around, to mess around. When she heard about the extension I opened here, she immediately tell her husband about it. And the story continued that's why she's in my front now, talking about the investing.

It was fun meeting her again after years. I really missed her preparing me coffee every morning when I came to work. 'Yung mga kuwento niya at paninira niya sa sarili naming company na pinagtatrabahuhan na pagmamay-ari na nila ng asawa niya.

The days went really fast. Dillion were busy with his new project, I guess, so we can't see each other always. He's always on the site. Minsan nga doon na siya natutulog pero tumatawag naman siya.

I had to flew back again to Beijing to check the ongoing operation there. They are currently working on it and I can already see improvement. I just told the head engineer of that project to submit a report to the board.

I stayed in the Beijing for one day before I flew back to the Philippines. It's tiring, but I had no choice. I was actually planning on settling in Singapore so I had to take care of my papers. I just realized that it will tire me more if I keep on going to the Philippines and Singapore every week. Or at least twice a month.

"No, that's not how it works. Wait, I'll ask the operation team." I stopped talking when my secretary came to my office. I raised a brow on her and she mouthed 'meeting'. I nod at her and continue my business with the one I was talking. "Okay, okay. Thank you."

I became busy after that. There were too much to take care of. But it's a good thing that I had my secretary with me. She did all her best with her job so I had nothing to worry about. I'm always updated because of her.

"Ampota, hindi na kita naaabutan, Callan. Kung saan-saan pumupunta, nakakainis. You're more like a pilot than a business man, you know?"

I chuckled and sip on my coffee with what Kyla said. I have free time so I was able to meet them again in the coffee shop.

"I admit it, I was busy. Pero baka sa mga susunod na linggo, hindi na masyado." I smiled. "I was actually thinking of staying on Singapore."

"Talaga ba? Doon ka na titira?" Kyla raised a brow on me.

"Yeah, it was exhausting to fly back there and here. Doon ko na lang din ipagpapatuloy 'yung trabaho ko." I told them my plans.

"Whatever you want, Cal. You're grown up man now, you can decide for yourself. If you think it's good for you then go for it," Carleen said.

"Oo nga. Video call na lang. Sa Korea na rin siguro kami ni Carleen mags-stay. Bakasyonista na lang kami sa Pilipinas." I nodded my head with Kyla's plan.

We talked there for an hour. Wala naman akong schedule ngayon kaya malaya kong magagamit ang oras ko. Hapon na tuloy nang maka-uwi ako. I sat on the couch and look at my phone when it vibrated. Dillion's calling.

"Hey?" I asked as I removed my shoes. Narinig ko naman ang pagbuntong-hininga niya sa kabilang linya.

"When are you going home? I missed you." You always do. I wanted to answer that but I refused to.

"I don't know. Maybe tomorrow? Or next day?" Tumayo ako at binitbit ang phone sa kuwarto para magbihis. "Don't worry, I will be back. Wala pa ngang isang linggo tayong hindi nagkikita. Stop being so clingy."

Three days from now, it's already his birthday. I wanted to buy him a gift but I don't know what to get. He probably had already his own drafting materials set. Ayoko namang dagdagan pa 'yun. Mababalewala lang din. Hindi niya naman linggo-linggo pinapalitan.

Should I buy him a branded clothes instead? I chuckled with my own thought. What a lame gift.

In the end, I just decided to give him a personalized necklace. Puwede na siguro 'yung white gold na kuwintas na may nakasabit na compass atsaka pangalan niya. Dillion wasn't materialistic so he will liked it. I hoped so.

Hindi na rin naman ako nahirapang maghanap ng pagawaan. They say that I can just get it tomorrow. Buong araw akong walang ginawa kundi ang magpahinga sa kuwarto ko. I tried watching some movies too so I can waste my time.

It was a science-fiction movie and it really killed my boredom. Minsan nga lang ay wala akong maintindihan sa ginagamit nilang terminologies kaya hindi ko rin maintindihan ang storyline. But the graphics and visualization is good.

Dillion called that night, asking how am I doing. Nag-usap lang kami ng ilang oras bago ako nakatulog. Funny how he can resist the silence just to see me. He just wish me goodnight before ending the call, he probably want to sleep too.

I go to the jewelry shop again to get the personalized necklace. It cost me a lot but at least, it's worth it. Worth it din naman ang pagbibigyan ko kaya patas lang. Nagpaalam lang ako sa mga kaibigan na aalis na. They aren't able to drop me on the airport, though, because they have work.

I didn't tell Dillion that I'm going there already. I wanted to surprise him. Kanina pa siya text nang text pero hindi ko na siya mareply-an dahil pumasok na kami sa eroplano. I just hoped that he won't be pissed.

I landed safe again on the Changi Airport. Kinailangan ko na namang mag-commute dahil hindi ko naman dala ang sasakyan ko. I left it at my unit's parking lot. Hapon na nang makarating ako sa unit ko kaya pagod na ako. I was able to reply at Dillion's message before I took a nap.

Nagising lang ako bandang alas siyete kaya napagdesisyunan kong sa labas na lang kumain. Palakad-lakad lang ako sa Marina Bays habang may hawak na kape sa kamay. I wore jacket because it's cold outside.

I watched the people who's passing me while sipping my coffee. I also watched how the Merlion statue lit up. It was wholesome moment.

Kinabukasan, pinuntahan ko si Dillion sa site. This was actually my first time here. He mentioned this place before so I know where to find it. He still had no idea that I am already here, at his workplace. I asked some workers about Dillion and they pointed his office. I thanked them before walking towards there.

"Happy birthday!" I greeted as soon as I stepped inside.

He looked up on me and I saw how his face lit up when he saw me. Mabuti na lang at mag-isa lang siya sa loob kaya hindi ako napahiya. I closed the door and he welcomed me with a hug.

"I thought you forgot," I chuckled with what he said. Humiwalay siya sa'kin saka hinawakan ang mukha ko, hindi pa rin makapaniwala na nandito ako sa harapan niya.

"Surprise?" He chuckled before kissing me. Mukhang may ginagawa siya nang tingnan ko ang table niya. His drafting pens scattered on his table, with the blue print. "Are you busy?"

"No, of course. I'm just reviewing the floor plan. Why? You have plans today?" He sat beside me on the couch. "You wanted to go somewhere?" He put his head on my shoulder, facing my neck. I can even feel him sniffing it.

I actually wanted to go to the Gardens by the Bay today. The weather is so fine and it's a perfect time for us to go there. Nang tanungin ko siya tungkol do'n, agad naman siyang pumayag. I smiled at him.

Hindi na niya kailangan magpalit ng damit. He's with his white button-down polo and black pants. While I was wearing a branded baby blue shirt and dark blue pants with white rubber shoes.

When we reached that, I wandered my eyes around. Mukha namang hindi na bago sa kaniya ang tanawin kaya hinawakan niya na lang ang kamay ko at siya ang nanguna.

We went first on the Flower Dome. Para kaming nasa loob ng isang malaking garden, tapos nasa loob ng salamin. There are varieties of flower from different sections. There are five sections of garden in the Flower Dome. The Australia, South Africa, South America, California, and Mediterranean garden. It's so cool. Madami akong picture na kinuha. Some of them are stolen shots of Dillion.

Ayaw niya kasi magpa-picture kaya napilitan akong nakawan siya. Hindi naman siguro masama 'yun? He's my boyfriend, anyways.

Boyfriend...

I bit my lips to stop myself from smiling with that word. Damn, I can even feel my face heating up.

"Why are you blushing?" he asked me.

"It's hot." I lied and he looked like he buy it.

Ang sunod naman naming pinuntahan ay Cloud Forest. Bungad na bungad ang malaking fountain. The green plants make everything look cold. It feels like we entered a rainforest. I can't stop myself from being amazed. I can't even hide it.

Nang makarinig ng flash ng camera, napatingin ako kay Dillion. Ngumiti pa siya sa'kin kaya ngumiti din ako saka niya ako kinuhanan ng picture. Nilibot namin ang paligid. I can see some ferns and monster plants. I am not familiar with other plants.

"Stand there. I'll take a photo of you." I followed what he said. I saw him smiled when I smiled before capturing a photo. "Good." He gives me thumbs up. "I love you."

Medyo hapon na nang mapuntahan namin ang Supertree Grove. Ito 'yung mga parang puno na nakikita ko lang dati sa picture. I can't believe it was actually taller than of those pictures. Nakatingala ako sa mga matataas na nakatayong parang puno nang akbayan ako ni Dillion.

Umakyat kami sa mga hagdan para makarating kami sa taas. There are bridge connected to every tree. May mga nakaharang lang na parang screen para hindi mahulog ang mga maglalakad.

"I never thought that Gardens by the Bay will be this beautiful." Dillion looks amazed by the surroundings too. From here, we can see the setting sun. The city, especially the Marina Bay Sands building.

That was the most breathtaking scenery I've ever watch. I looked at Dillion and the orange color of sky reflected in his eyes and his face. I can't believe that I was standing beside him again.

I was standing beside the man I love the most.

He looked at me before flashing a smile. Under the setting sun, he captured my lips like how he captured my heart. Passionate, careful, and warm. I closed my eyes and let myself hear our heartbeats.

"Are you cold?"

We were sitting on the steps when he asked that. Iniling ko ang ulo kong nakapatong sa balikat niya. Naramdaman ko namang hinapit niya ang bewang ko para mas lumapit pa ako sa kaniya.

We are watching the Spectra. It was aesthetic. Katatapos lang namin manood ng light show sa Gardens by the Bay tapos nanonood na naman kami ng water show. I let myself enjoy the view of the playing water. I feel him caressing my back which made me smile.

"I love you," I told out of nowhere.

Magkasabay kaming umuwi. He told me to sleep on his house so I didn't fight for it. I wanted to sleep beside him too. Since we already had our dinner, we just ended up in the bed again.

I was staring on the ceiling and there was nothing but silence. Katulad ng dati, nakaunan na naman ako sa braso ni Dillion. Hindi ko alam kung tulog na ba siya o gising pa dahil hindi ko naman siya tinitingnan.

"Callan..." I faced him when he called me. His serious eyes is like digging into my soul but I didn't look away. Naghihintay lang ako ng sasabihin niya. "Remember when I told you I'm going to introduce you to my family after I achieved something?"

I was stopped with what he said. I remembered it, so I nod at him. He gave me smile before pulling me closer. Our body is now touching when he catch my lips again.

"Tomorrow, I'll introduce you to them. I will personally introduced them the man I'll live my life with forever."

I smiled as a single tear escaped my eye. I just feel so happy that I was loved by this man. I am so happy that he still embraced me after everything that happened between us.

I was so grateful that he came into my life. And I was so grateful that we made it until here.

We make it until here because we love each other. Our love made us realize things, and our love allow us grow. He may not be there always, but I knew from my deepest heart that it was him...who will always fill up my broken heart.

I love him so much, and I can never imagine waking up without him.

So, I will always choose to be with him in broken times, and in happy times. Wherever it is.
