Bebe's POV:

I was sitting on a waiting room chair, outside of Sci's room. He was working to get Dream stable. Nightmare was pacing back and forth.

I just didn't understand!

Why didn't Gun kill them!? They deserved it! We were both usually empathetic, and had MERCY for those who deserved it. But they certainly didn't! I decided to ask.

Why?

Why didn't you kill them?

I cut off one of their HANDS! I think I should be in the clear.

But why didn't you kill them? They would've deserved it! Ugh! Are you really that PATHETIC!? YOU CAN'T TELL WHO DESERVES MERCY!?

... *sniff*

*sniff* I-I just c-couldn't! Ok!? IS THAT WHAT YOU WANNA HEAR!?*sobs*

That was all we said to each other. I didn't bother to ask her if she wanted to take control. She wouldn't listen.

I guess I just wasn't ready to hear.

That's what she thought at least.

Sci burst through the door. At first, I thought I had a heart attack! Nightmare rushed over. Sci looked relieved, but his clothes were covered in blood. It made me really squeamish.

"Good news. Dream is going to make a full recovery!"

We all sighed in relief.

"Bad news, he's in a coma-like state."

"W-what?" Night asked, weakly.

"It will not last long, compared to how long I was expecting. But yes. He will be in that state for a while. You all are welcome to stay until then."

He went back inside to work. Nightmare seemed to calm down knowing Dream would be ok.

Gun's POV:

I AM NOT PATHETIC! I kept crying to myself. I am NOT! I'm kind, and smart! And I try to be the best I can be!

I hated that word. It felt disgusting in my mouth.

PATHETIC

Disgusting.

All that matters is he will be ok. I tried telling myself. But I just wasn't working! Nobody would get it!

If a killer of them is what she wants.
