Throughout the night, Bella and Carson theorized about Rowan's location and fate. The only logical conclusion they came up with was that her body was laying in a river. The two were so deep in thought that they didn't realize the time. It was 1:24 in the morning, "Ok so maybe if Rowan went to Hamilton road instead of Jefferson street," Bella paused staring at the board full of red strings and post it notes, "What the hell am I doing." She mumbled, "This is pointless." Bella turned around and sat on her Bella holding her head in her hands, "Bell," Carson said, Bell was his nick name for Bella, "You're doing the right thing.  You just need a break."
"No. Carson. I can't do this. Rowan is gone."
Carson walked over to Bella and sat beside her. He wasn't sure what to do, so he hugged her, "Don't give up so easily. Rowan is not gone. She's ok."
Bella pushed away from Carson confused, "What do you mean she is okay? How do you know?" Bella was becoming paranoid now. How did Carson know about Rowan, "Ian just trying to be supportive." He said innocently holding his hands over his head, "Im sorry." Bella said breaking down again. Carson instinctively wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly, "Don't be Bell." He whispered. The two sat there all night slowly drifting to sleep in each others arms.
    Bella woke up alone in her bed with pictures and string sitting around her, she also smelled waffles, so that woke her up too. She threw her hair in a ponytail and walked downstairs. She saw Carson in her kitchen making a huge stack of waffles, "Good morning princess!" He said smiling as he set the stack of waffles onto the table, "Hungry?" He said sitting down, "Yep." Bella replied hopping into her chair.
    "So how did you sleep?" Carson asked in between bites of food,
     "Good." Bella replied with a full mouth, "How about you?"
    "Good. Do you want to go to school or no?" Bella completely forgot that she had school today, "If we leave now we can still catch half of first period."
    "I'm gonna stay home today, but you can go."
    "Ya sure?"
    "Yeah, my head hurts so, I am going back to bed. Thanks for all of this."
    "No problem."
    Carson got up to leave and he patted Bella's shoulder, "Don't keep researching, just sleep. I'll be back after school." She nodded in response. Bella did feel guilty that her best friend was missing and that she was getting a friend out of this but he was helping to find Rowan so what's the harm? Let's just hope that Bella doesn't give into anyone too much, or has she already?
