Once Steve wakes up he noticed that James walks in and seems concerned "hey Steve how long has it been since you've been to the docters...?" James asked giving Steve time to wake up and respond "since first grade elementary... why...?" Once Steve says that James gave a stern look "let's go to the doctors okay...?" James said and seemed concerned about Steve's well being which Steve understood and respects "sure though I'm going to be tested for illnesses and stuff..." Steve says and he felt like it might have changed James's mind about the price since he didn't have insurance "I don't mind that... and besides your health is important..." James replies then tells Steve that he picked out some clothes that Steve can borrow and for him to take a shower to which Steve didn't complain since he hasn't had a shower in a while so he goes and takes one.

Once Steve takes his clothes off and steps into a warm shower he heard Herobrine hum making him blush "Herobrine do you mind...?" Steve said flusteredly "oh I don't mind but your flustered face is adorable..." Herobrine said with a chuckle and gets a huff from Steve in response "pervert..." Steve says and washes his hair "Steve we're sharing a mind right now... so I can't really leave right now... because I'm not going to let anybody or anything harm you..." Herobrine said seriously and sounded like a very protective boyfriend "at first you wanted to kill me and now your acting like a very protective Boyfriend..." Steve says then continues "can you at least make up your mind whether you hate me or not...?" Herobrine was silent for a moment until he replies in a hushed yet suggestive tone "I would rather prefer the protective Boyfriend who would make sure that you feel special and knows the feeling of pleasure racing up your spine~" Steve blushes bright red and gives a 'what the fuck look' before Herobrine adds on "I do know your a virgin and have never dated before either~" Steve felt mentally violated at that point "you going through my memories or something...? Because if you are stop it..." Steve says flustered and annoyed "only a little bit but I do want to get to know you... though I hate your father and I want him to rot..." Herobrine replied with his tone getting serious again "how did I even get stuck with you...?" Steve groaned and finished his shower "hm... not sure but I think fate has something to do about it..." Herobrine says as he watched Steve dry off.

Steve after the incident that happened in the bathroom stop and he was dressed he walks over to James who was was waiting at the door "ready...?" James asked looking at Steve "as I'll ever be..." Steve replied and then went out the door with James to decent weather and not many people crowded the road as they walk but the one thing Steve hates are bars because his dad usually is at he was right once a still lit cigarette was thrown at him giving no damage but it sure cause Steve to look who threw it and was horrified since it was his dad and he's terrified so he shakes a little "oh... it's the bastard..." Herobrine said and mentally tries to calm Steve down but due to Steve's panic Herobrine noticed that the father came close enough to where he can harm Steve badly "Steve... run..." both Herobrine and James says but they called it a little late as Steve was then kicked to the ground and beaten with a chair and James gets hurt in the process.

James sat there for ten minutes until he noticed that his and Steve's beating was over but he noticed Steve was bashed in the head with the chair a few times and he needed to be rushed to the hospital now but he did notice that a cop got involved and arrested Steve's dad which James was happy about it and so was Herobrine but he was flat out pissed but it was understandable since himself was also pissed with what Steve's father did and in public but James needed to get Steve checked out by the doctors so James did what he needed to do and goes to the hospital after picking Steve up off the ground.

After what felt like the entire day was only three hours but they told James that they would call once Steve is able to have company "James... Steve is sick... very sick...with an illness..." a nurse says giving James a stare "...and that is...?" James says then swallows waiting for an answer "he has cancer in his bloodstream..." the nurse says causing James to panic but since he can't do anything he heads home after putting a note that explains what happened and that he would be at home but James still felt concerned but he hopes Steve gets better.
