"Hey Auntie" Sativa said walking into the house using her key when she noticed everyone's distressed faces. "Sativa did you tell her?" Rue said hurt as Sativa looked at the family confused. "I'm so confused right now. What're we talking about?" Sativa asked making her way more in the house. "Mom tell her I didn't say anything!" Gia pleaded as Sativa looked around at the scene still confused as to what the heck was going on as she followed Gia, Rue, and her aunt to Rue's room.

"Can you guys chill the fuck out, it's just weed!" Rue said looking exhausted and Sativa's face shifted.

Rue Relapsed???

"What's she talking about Gia?" Sativa asked with a look of worry on her face and Gia looked down. "I'm not talking about weed, I'm talking about opiates" Leslie replied as Rue's face fell immediately at the same time Sativa's heart dropped. "I'm not doing opiates mom" Rue said trying to play the whole thing off casually as Sativa's eyes started to itch with tears.

Every fucking time Sativa gave her cousin a chance she never kept her word.

"When did you start doing pills" Gia asked as Sativa tried to block everything out. "I can't believe you" She said shaking her head as Gia, Rue and Leslie started to argue resulting in Gia storming out. Sativa followed Gia out as Gia started to cry making Sativa's heart break as she engulfed her in a hug. The two girls heard stuff being thrown as they looked at each other. Sativa just pulled Gia back in with a hug kissing her on her hairline.

"You hear that Gia!" Rue shouted out making her way to her younger sister's room. "I don't wanna put too much pressure on you, but you're gonna have to be a fuckin' neurosurgeon or maybe an astronaught because if not , then Mom is 0 for fuckin' 2, and that means it might actually be her fault" Rue shouted in Sativa and Gia's face as Gia begged her to stop. "Rue stop! You're scaring her!" Sativa shouted back at Rue as she let out a smirk.

"And then there's poor little Sativa. The golden one. The little cunt who can do no wrong. The little bitch who lets her mom beat on her just cause her dad left!" Rue said laughing in Sativa's face as Sativa bit on the inside of her lips to stop her tears. "Aww now she's crying? Fezco's fucking whore is crying. You said you care about me but no, you just care about yourself and your daddy issues" Rue said, spitting in her face as Leslie pulled her back.

"Shut the fuck up!" Gia cried trying to pull her back with Sativa and Rue pushed Sativa hitting her head on the headboard. "Don't you fucking touch them!" Leslie said, grabbing ahold of Rue as Gia sobbed. Leslie pushed her eldest out of the room as Rue started to bang on the door. She tried keeping it closed but soon Rue had managed to break open the door.

"What the fuck else am I supposed to do huh??" She screamed making her way into the room as Leslie put her hands on her head. "What do you want me to do-Rue please!" Sativa cried out covering her eyes in frustration as Rue continued to ask where the pills were. Rue slumped tiredly on the floor as Sativa stared at the scene while her head throbbed. She cried as she said stuff about how it wasn't hers and that she was sorry but Sativa didn't believe it for one second.

She got up going back into Leslie's room trying to look for this supposed suitcase until Jules called out. "We flushed them down the toilet.". Rue looked towards where it came from as Leslie looked at her daughter. "You look embarrassed Rue. You're embarrassed because Jules just heard everything you said? Don't cry. Own that shit. Own what you just said" Leslie said taunting Rue as she let out a silent 'Fuck you' as she walked out to the dining room where Jules and Elliot sat as Sativa followed her.

"Oh I know what's going on.Well first things first Elliot here is a fuckin' addict, so if he tells you anything fuckin' different he's a liar and a fuckin' snake. Fuck you!" Rue said, hitting Elliot which he took silently. "He cares about you Rue-This doesn't fucking concern you Jules!" Rue shouted and the two started to argue. "You were lying to me." Jules said and Rue scoffed. "Yeah so you go and tell my fucking mom?!" Rue asked incredulously as Gia walked out.

"And why would you say anything?" The drug addict said looking extremely hurt as she stared at Elliot. She turned to Jules with a now emotionless expression. "You are fuckin' dead to me." The girl said just over a whisper as Jules shook her head. "You don't mean that" Jules said as tears stormed her eyes.

"I fucking mean every word"

Sativa sat in the car not bothering to look at Rue as she looked out the window. "You wanna know the truth?" Rue said making them all turn to her. "I relapsed as soon as I got out of rehab" She said with a chuckle as Sativa turned back to her window. "Let's just get you back into Rehab-Wait, what the fuck you talking about Mom. I thought you said we're going to the E.R?" Rue said with panic in her voice. "Yeah baby it's the same thing" Leslie tried to reason but Rue promptly replied with an "No, it's not the fuckin' same thing Mom"

They continued to argue until Rue started to panic. "Mom. I can't do this. I can't, I can't do this" She said as her voice broke. She begged for them to let her out of the car while Leslie continued to drive ignoring the antics. Before any of them knew Rue jumped out of the car running towards the road making Sativa wince because her sunlight in her eyes, which was something that had never happened to her before.Gia started to panic as Rue continued to run as Sativa just stared at the sight, drained.

Sativa knocked on her boyfriend's door in a panic as her head started to throb in pain. She swayed a little from the dizziness in her head as Ashtray opened the door. "Fuck is you knocking like that for?!" He asked angrily until he noticed the drained look in her face. "You okay?" He asked ushering her in as she shook her head.

"Is Rue here?" She asked and Ash nodded, gesturing to the hall. She ran only to be met with Fezco. "Hey beautiful" He said with a smile catching her in his arms until he noticed her distressed state. "What happened?" He asked confused and concerned while he tried to studying her face for a clue of what happened. "I'll tell you later, go back to your movie" she said gently pushing past him to find Rue. Sativa looked until she stopped in her tracks as Rue started to open Fez's grandma's pills.

"Ruby." Sativa spoke, making Rue shoot up. "Sativa-I can't fucking believe you" Sativa said letting out a sad chuckle. "Tiva please just three." She pleaded sadly with her cousin as she shook her head. "No, I'm sick of you. Put them down" She said firmly as Rue scoffed. "You're such a fucking stuck up bitch. Fuck you." Rue uttered making Sativa smile at her. "Ash! Pass me my phone!" She shouted out as Rue's face dropped.

"Wait Sativa, just wait!" She whisper shouted grabbing onto Sativa's hand making Sativa snatch it back muttering a "Don't touch me" as she started to leave. Rue not really thinking pushed Sativa into the wall making Sativa bang her head. "What the fuck are you doing?!" Fez said with Sativa's phone in hand as he looked at Sativa got up from the floor ignoring the now unbearable pain in her head.

"She was taking-Shut the fuck up Tiva!" Rue screeched trying to push her again but this time Sativa stood her ground pushing her first into the wall. The room went quiet as Sativa finally let her tears fall. "I'm so fucking tired of you Rue. You're the most selfish person i've met and the worst thing is you can't even see that."Sativa said nodding her head not breaking eye contact with Rue as Ash and Faye came out to see what was happening.

"Ma-Fez don't" She whispered not leaving Rue's eyes. "You know how worried Auntie and Gia are right now? How hard Lexi's been crying since you ran from her house?" Sativa asked as her voice broke. "Do you know how many nights we've all spent not sleeping, worrying about you Rue?!" Sativa said and Rue's lip shook. "I lost my dad Sativa-I lost him too! Auntie lost him, Gia lost him, we all fucking lost him! You need to realize shit is not always about you! You missing your dad is not an excuse to be a fucking asshole" Sativa said as Rue started to sob.

"I fucking hate you Rue.With everything in my effing body." Sativa said as she wiped her face, making Rue shake her head. "I'm sorry Tive, I didn't mean what I said" Rue cried out trying to hold on to Tiva's legs so she couldn't leave. "You gotta leave Rue" Fezco said, speaking up as Sativa got out Rue's grasp walking away.

"You wanna tell me what the fuck just happened?" Fezco said gently walking into his room where Sativa laid down feeling terribly tired. "Leslie found out about Rue relapsing" She replied shortly,getting up as she turned to look at him with red eyes. "You okay?" He asked immediately as she shook her head 'no'. He walked up to her and engulfed her in a hug as she let silent tears fall down her face. He kissed the top of her head.

"I just don't know what to do anymore, Fez," Sativa whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "I try to help Rue, I try to be there for her, but it's like she doesn't even want to help herself."

Fezco tightened his embrace, his warm presence offering some solace amidst the chaos. "You can't save someone who doesn't want to be saved, Tiva," he said softly. "Rue has to make the choice to get better, and until she does, all you can do is be there for her when she's ready."

She just wanted her cousin back.

"I just hate seeing her like this," Sativa murmured, her voice muffled by Fezco's shirt. "I hate feeling so powerless."Fezco pulled back slightly to look into her eyes, his gaze filled with understanding. "You're not powerless, Tiva," he said firmly. "You're strong as hell, and you've done everything you can for Rue. Sometimes, you just have to focus on taking care of yourself."

Sativa sniffled, wiping away her tears with the back of her hand. "I know you're right," she admitted, leaning into Fezco's comforting touch. "I just wish it didn't hurt so much."Fezco pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, his lips warm against her skin. "I know, baby," he murmured, his voice soft with sympathy. "But you're not alone. I'm here for you, no matter what."

Sativa closed her eyes, leaning into Fezco's embrace as she let herself be comforted by his presence.

She truly did love him.

y'all i swear rue's theme gotta be bad religion by frank ocean. she fell in love with jules only for jules to leave her at her literal lowest. someone who loves you would NEVER do that (js a reminder for you not to go back to that person who did that to you🤗) and it was one sided. she also doesn't feel she can trust anyone after jules backstabbed her.
